These are not like original. There is not toe ball and they are really difficult to keep on. They will be returned.

These are the worst. They are very heavy and it's hard to keep them on my feet

What happened to the hump under the toes I remember from my teen years? Used it to hold on! It seems so much smaller. No way I can keep these on my feet. Sole needs a lot more contour for comfort and fit. Returned them.

Very different from original. Wood is thicker and toe hump less pronounced making it harder to walk. The shoe is heavier than the originals so they aren't good for any fast paced walking. Main issue is navy leather strap is not navy, more of a matted grey blue, leather closer to pleather or different type of leather strap. I'd never recommend these. Big disappointment.

The shoe should be available in Wide not everyone has a narrow foot & I would Love to have a pair to enjoy

The site's size guide recommended a 7 instead of a 6. I figured well, they would know. Nope. The 7s are huge and now I'm just stuck with a pair of shoes I can't wear and couldn't really afford in the first place. My review reflects that they are cute and arrived quickly.

Hard to keep on!

Very difficult to walk in

It is not comfortable at all, Very heavy in the feet, I couldn't wear it more than couple of hours. It is now sitting in my closet, I paid $65, with no return or exchange, don't waste your money on these.

This shoe has changed in style the buckle no longer slides into place but clips downward and has come open on any setting. The shaped wood bump that your toes could grip is gone now too. That bump was the full reason this style was called an "exercise sandal for your feet". I am completely disappointed!

I bought this pair of sandals few days ago. It's lovely but unfastens as soon as I slip in my feet. Tried to fasten it but wouldn't stay fastened. The sandals is very heavy just in case you want something light. I tried to exchange but customer service kept telling me that their system is down. They were not helpful at all.

I wore the originals in the 70's and 80's. They're not the same. And, seriously, what's up with the price?

Uncomfortable & caused bad blisters on my big toes the first time wearing them. Disappointed as I had such great memories of wearing them as a kid. I would NOT recommend these, especially for the price. The cost is over-inflated when you consider how much of a better product it was in the 70's and 80's .... so disappointed Dr. Scholl's.

These are nothing like the originals! Please bring them back... real wood, real leather and the arch!

Having worn these in the past and remembering how great the fit was as well as how well the "toe hump" worked to make the fit so comfortable, I ordered these and was really looking forward to getting them. Wow - so disappointed. Although the sole is still made of wood (in this so-called "original" version - some that look the same have plastic or rubber bottoms), the classic design has been messed with. The grippable toe hump is GONE! The sandals are hard to wear because your foot will slip forward with every step - no matter how the top strap is adjusted. So these were promptly returned.

1980's sandals were the BEST sandal by far to me. The toe gripping hump was great exercise for your calf muscles. Why would a company do way with some that was good for the consumer???? Unfortunately i cannot recommend these until the hump is brought back with good leather strap and buckle

Mine had latches on both sides of the metal latche. Guess what. After 2 wears they break. False advertising and expensive. The original. The latch slides. And the strap gets slimmer where the button size was things are. Not the same shoe. Get the faux ones. They have Velcro are cheaper and have no latches that will break

The most uncomfortable shoe I have ever owned. I am sorry I bought these shoes.

VERY disappointed. I want thewood sandles that have the toe grips. These are not "original"! They planted trees with ones I bought in 2010.

Prior to ordering the above shoe, I have owned 3 pairs of Dr. Scholl's : one pair of the original collection and 2 pairs of the same style but with rubber soles. All have been wonderfully comfortable and served as my "go to" sandal. However, this pair is painful to ware. I think the reason for the discomfort is that the strap is located too far down toward toes. There is inadequate support from the strap across the instep, consequently causing toes to curl in order to hold the sandal on. Had I not tried so diligently to ware the sandal, hoping for a comfortable outcome, I would have returned the shoe and asked for a refund. Very disappointed !!!

Loved these shoes as a kid, couldn?t wait to get a pair. The strap is so far up it just covers your toes, there?s no way this show would stay on my foot even for one step. Returned immediately.
