I didn't pay enough attention to the full description. I think I'm going to wait on other reviews, because for $159 plus tax, this looks like it won't hold up very well. I know all the running shoe companies are doing this, but it's little pieces of plastic over mesh and looks like it will fall apart really fast. Looks more like a cheap, cute with my outfit, shoe than a pricey performance shoe. I'll be interested to see what others report over time.

These were the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. The heel had zero support and each time I wore them I got a callus on the side of my foot. I wore them about 10 times and then threw them in the trash. I should have listened to the bad reviews. I've purchased NB for at least 5 years now without problems, but lately nothing fits right and the shoes are made cheaply - especially for the price they charge! Zappos is always great! I think I'll try a different brand of walking/running shoe.

While large, the toe box presses on the top of my big toe. The feature of no seams in the toe box is the reason for the toe box pressing on my toes - there is no leather or suede to provide shaping. Other issues are the shoe laces, which remind me of ribbons, and as always New Balance has poor quality insoles - a shoe store salesperson tried to argue that this is an advantage, because you can buy good quality insoles (from New Balance of course) separately. Given the cost of these shoes, that rationalization for the low quality insoles is insulting. Also, I was hoping that these were more on the grey side in color and they are white on the top.

I was extremely disappointed with the look, but was willing to try them out as I've had at least 4 pair of NB in the past. The arch support which I needed was Ok, but the rest of the shoe supported no better than an overpriced slipper. I tried tiring the laces tighter for support, but just succeeded in cutting off my circulation. I was after a running/walking shoe and this didn't meet even minimum standards. If I hadn't tried to wear it to give it a fair evaluation, I would have sent it back. The way the shoe was designed with a "sling" as support certainly needs to be rethought. Terrible shoe!

I was very disappointed in this pricey shoe. It's nothing more than mesh, with a plastic thing holding it together. Nothing like I expected. I am a NB believer. Please don't loose your quality any more than you have.
