Very comfortable and well-made shoe. Lightweight too when compared to Keens or other similar hikers.

Had already a pair from this brand and loved them. Since my previous shoes were very comfortable and durable, I bought these shoes for a vacation trip In which I would be doing a lot of walking. These shoes did not disappoint. Was able to wear them all day on my feet without getting them getting tired and soar.

Just what I was looking for! I've been having with my ankle and the excellent arch and other support in this shoe has helped tremendously. It replaced my Keens Targhee IIs that don't have as good arch & support. I also appreciate the slightly wider width in the front half of the shoe! I also ordered the higher top version!

Bought these for my husband, since I have become a big fan of the women's Montara and Sugarpine. He was very happy with them as far as looks, fit, and comfort go. They are very light for having such excellent support. One caveat: one of the eyelets pulled loose. This may or may not have had something to do with a certain puppy who got his snout on them once. I myself have had no problem with Ahnu eyelets, and I wear them almost daily on hikes.

I really like these shoes. They fit my feet excellent, but I had to size down a half size. I'm usually an 8.5 and I needed to return for an 8. These replace several pairs of Garmont Flash XCR III's. I like a low water proof hiking shoe that is bland enough that I can get away wearing it with a pair of Khaki's at work and these fit the bill. I actually might like these better than my old Garmonts. They are lighter weight and the toe guard appears to be stitched down. That piece started to peel away eventually on all of my Garmonts.

I was looking for something comfortable, and waterproof for the winter. I decided to go with the low cut version because I work in a warehouse and did not want the extra weight due to the amount I walk. These shoes seem to be constructed very well. They feel like hikers, which is nice, but can be used for every day walking. After one week of use, they feel great and my feet and legs are not fatigued when I get home. the toe box is what sold me. I wear a 9½ to 10 in sneakers, but a lot of times 9½ can be a little snug on the front sides of the foot. These are nice and wide up front which was perfect for me. This is just an all around good pair of hikers. I plan on getting a few years out of these. If you have a high arch, I would recommend an insert, but they are comfortable.

Great shoes for hiking and walking around the city. I have done over 200 miles in these shoes and love them. This is my first pair of Ahnu's and will buy another. More support than my Merrell's and better fit then Ecco's. Easy to clean if the get dirty. A great all around shoe looking at buying another pair of Ahnu's. No break in period.

I've had these shoes for several weeks now and only wear them on the weekends (since I wear work boots or running shoes during the week). I was amazed how good they felt the very first time I put them on and still get that feeling each time I put them on. The satin-like lining and shape make them feel like they were made just for my feet. I wear them hiking and to casual outings. They are my first pair of Ahnus and will absolutely consider the brand going forward. I was reluctant since I typically stick with certain brands and took a chance because I liked the way they looked. Love them!

Found this brand on Zappos and gave them a try. It's hard to find no rise shoes. Even though these don't specify, they are within 2-4mm heel to toe differential. Previously owned some inov-8 shoes and these are a wider fit and really good quality shoe. They are roomy and plush and don't make my feet warm. I have a wide short foot and these fit me true to size. I'm usually a 10 in looser barefoot type shoes so ordered a half size more here since leather build and was spot on.

I go through hiking shoes like candy. I use them for tough outdoor work as well as travel. Hot, cold, dirt, rock, snow, you name it. So, here's the deal on these shoes. They are very lightweight, which is pretty impressive for a leather shoe with good support. They seem fairly tough with not too many seams to unravel. No input on warmth in snow as I haven't had them long enough, BUT... I'm not going to wear them in snow because they are NOT waterproof as the description indicates. I'm sure that the materials themselves are waterproof, but there is no material connecting the sides of the tongue to the inside of the shoe, so once you get water up to the first lace, you're soaked. That being said, this is a great looking, comfortable shoe that seems to be pretty durable. Just a little misleading on the waterproofing.

My first pair of Ahnu shoes and am very happy with them. Shoe is very solid and also comfortable. Don't know durability yet as I've had them for only about a month. My use is walking...typically 4 or 5 miles a day.

This is a great boot in many ways...BEWARE...THEY DON'T LAST VERY LONG...have a look at the heal area of the boot after 3 months...worn out...If you want your boot/shoe to last longer then look elsewhere...

My husband really liked these for comfort but for the price we are very disappointed in how quickly they wore out. He does wear them daily and walks a lot at work, but the back began to wear out within a couple months. He's still wearing them and it's been close to a year. The rest of the shoe is holding up well, just a small section in the top of the back that is worn through still.

Good shoes except for one thing. I live in rainy Seattle (winter anyway) and use the shoes to walk on the city sidewalks. The shoes even when new are slippery on certain sidewalk surfaces -- aggregate with tiny rocks/stones. I can skate in my new shoes (think like ice skating) on those surfaces. If the shoes had some wear, this would not bother me so much but... I don't know if the soles are Vibram? I wonder if there is something that I could put on the bottoms to make them less slick. I'll ask a shoe repair person.

Shoes look very nice, which is rare these days. Shoes aren't narrow, which is awesome. But the fabric in upper back heel area is already disappearing, after only three months, of not a great deal of use. After receiving an exchange at initial purchase due to some quality issues this is troubling to see already. Zappos was great in getting the second pair out right away. I had really hoped this nice tasteful looking shoe would hold up a long time, and get a lot of good use. At this price point quality should be much better.
