These boots are so beautiful - the shape and the lines create contours up the leg so lovely - I fell in love. I do have very wide feet and I could not believe that I could put my clunky stump in the boot, but alas! And the inside is so soft; I just feel doted on with each step - sigh. However, zipping up the boots is not easy for me - I have kind of stocky calfs (long-time runner) - but with a little effort, I got the zipper to go all the way up. I will only be able to wear these boots with tights and dresses, but I'm not really a skinny jeans kind of girl, anyway. So, all in all, these boots are very comfortable and supportive and I am thrilled with my new pair, but if you do not have super-thin legs and would like to wear your boots with thick socks, jeans, or whatever - you may want to pause. In my case, the elegant, stunning style and construction overruled my snug-calf-fit objections because they look killer on!

I was hoping these boots would fit tighter at the top, but the pleating around the shaft makes them really wide at the knee. Also these are very tall -- I'm 5'8" and the boot came all the way up to just a hairline below my knee cap. On anyone shorter these would be over the knee boots. Beautiful leather and well constructed, but not at all what I was looking for.

These are boots for every day/work and going out. They are high quality leather (love the smell) but will take a bit to break in (the leg area, not the foot area-that feels perfect). I am normally size 8 in shoes, and the size 8 is perfect. I have a rather high arch, but these are fine. I also have thin calves - 13" - and these are good. can tuck in jeans; bit of a gap without pants tucked. The style is classic...will always be in style but not trendy.

Great boots. Fit a little too snugly in the feet, and couldn't zip them up all the way. I don't have huge calves, but you really do need to be on the skinny end of the spectrum to wear these comfortably.

What a beautiful boot. The leather is outstanding and you can tell this boot was made with love. The bottom the boot has so many details, gorgeous design and a nice fit. I have a little bit wider of a foot so I purchase a 7.5 (usually wear a 7.0) and the boot fits perfectly. Once again, thank you Zappos for carrying such a wonderful brand. Can wait to try this brands sandals come summer!

These boots are beautiful! I have super high arches and thin feet and they felt so supportive! Unfortunately, I am also tall and have largish calves and I could not quite get these all the way zipped up so back they go! But they are so nice that I considered seeing if I could get them professionally stretched but I felt like they were too expensive to risk it not working.

Gorgeous boots with great footbed. However, the calf is incredibly wide! If you have skinny legs or even average girth, these boots are not for you.

Beautiful, very dressy. I struggled to zip past my calf (I'm 5'4" and 135 lbs), and while successful, the feel was too tight in the calf area when walking. I like them, but I had to return them.

I really wanted to love these boots but could hardly get my feet in these boots. I wear a size 10 and these boots felt like a 9. I really liked them but I don't even think an 11 would fit.

These are very nicely made boots, but they did not fit well. The size fit correctly, but the midfoot area was too tight. The mid calf was too tight as well while the top flared out on the outside of my legs and was too wide.

These are some of the most beautiful boots that I have ever tried on. They are super high quality and just gorgeous! Sadly, they are so tight around my calfs I could barely zip them up (and I have very average size calfs). Ugh, I hate to return these but there is no way they will work. I love Zappos for getting these to me quickly. I am a Zappos customer for life!
