Really love these! They are warm and so comfy. Don't know how waterproof they are just yet, but it's 15 degrees out and for a change, my toes aren't frozen! I generally wear a women's size 6. I opted for the youth size 4 due to the price. Highly recommend.

Bought these for my 12 yr old. She loves them! They are stylish, and very lightweight with great grip on the bottom. She has worn them numerous times outside in temps 0-30 degrees and never complained of cold feet. Hope they hold up well enough for 2 yrs as I bought them a bit large with that in mind.

The perfect winter boot for my daughter! Light, comfortable and pretty! 100 percent recommended if you have a pre-teen very hard to please at home!

These are definitely not waterproof. I bought these for my daughter to go hiking in cold weather. There were some small streams to cross, and these boots were not waterproof. The fabric absorbed the water and did not repel. However, they may be better in cold weather only and my daughter thought they were comfortable and cute.

I could have used a half size smaller but unfortunately they only run in whole sizes. Other than that they are very warm.. i wear a 7 in women's and these are a 7 in big kids. Im confused

These are lovely. Really keep my daughter’s feet warm. Light weight and really comfortable. She wears them to school all the time. She says sometimes her feet feel warm inside but I think that’s a good compromise to make for keeping her feet warm outside during recess.

I ordered these for my 10 year old daughter in a size 7. She normally wears a 6.5 or 7 depending on the brand of shoe, and there is still room for her to grow in these. Keeping my fingers crossed she can still wear them next year. She says they are very comfortable and loves the style. She was able to wear them out in the snow recently, and they kept her feet warm and dry. They are comfortable and lightweight enough for her to wear to school on rainy days this winter.

I bought these for my 12 year old daughter. She wears about an 8 women's, and the 7 kids fit well with a little room to grow or for heavy socks. These seem warm, and are really cute. She loves them.

I bought the kid version rather than the adult one to save a bit of money (normally a size 5 in women's) for a trip to Finland. The boots fit quite snugly, so only one pair of wool socks would fit. My toes still stayed warm. The sole is very light and flexible which made it easy to move around in. However, the insole could use a bit more padding and arch support. I could feel every cobblestone or rock. By the end of the day my feet would hurt.

I am so in love with these boots. We live in the snowiest place on earth (Misawa, Japan) and I needed some boots that wouldn't disappoint me. They're so comfortable and completely waterproof for those wondering. I also like that they don't look super kiddish because I'm so petite it's hard to find shoes that aren't sparkling? Highly recommend these boots!

Purchased for my 9 year old. She loves them. She finds them to be very supportive...wish the laces would stay tied though!

I got these for my daughter for Christmas and we both love them. They are cute enough to wear without snow on the ground! We have not had any snow yet so we will see how they handle it eventually. So far, they are great!

My daughter wears these most snowy days. Stylish but rugged, they're comfortable enough to wear in school all day inside and on the playground. My daughter has very narrow feet, and these seem to fit well when worn with thick socks.

I love these boots! Lightweight and super warm. I've received many compliments on them. I will say: the description says they're black, but the photo looks like they are brown boots. They are definitely black.

I'm back for my second pair so that must mean something! I bought the hot pink last winter because the zipper in my North Face boots broke, note to self: don't buy boots with zippers! I'm middle aged, and they don't look "kid" like at all. I walked two miles the first day in 6 degrees, and was just fine. My only complaint, or critique is they are a bit sloppy for me towards the front of the boot. I would like to be able to have it tighter without my foot going numb. Not a deal killer by any means, hence coming back for another color. This time I got the light grape/geyser. I did wear them when it was -10 as well, and again was just fine with normal socks. I did not bulk up. I figure what's the point of adding socks if the boot is doing what it is supposed to do, and this boot did that. So I would say give it a try.

This stylish, comfortable, light weight boot. Didn't try in cold weather. No ankle support. Ankle tends to roll inward when I walk. I need support of firmer shaft so will be returning these.

These were the first boots I'd bought in a long time and I spent quite a while deliberating over what to get since I have small feet with little arch support and didn't want a heavy, clunky boot. The Columbia Minx in the kid's size was fine for me although I would have liked a more neutral lace color (it's aquamarine or turquoise). The boots have been pretty warm when it's been around freezing but when during the really cold days this winter in the Northeast, I did need two pairs of socks to feel warm. They also provided some cushioning. I think given the lack of arch support some sort of gel insert would be good for added comfort.

Beautiful looking shoe but the heel is not comfortable. It is rounded and feels odd for my daughter

I can not really give a proper review of these boots because it is the middle of July. My 8 year old loves them and thinks they are pretty.
