I don't like the look of these as much as the Zenith, but they are much more comfortable. I'm doing only easy barre work, and needed more support than just socks. The heel pads on these fit me better and as many people have mentioned, it's quite nice not having to sew on the elastics. My street size is 7; I ordered a 6 but they crowded my toes, so I went up to a 6.5. Anything smaller than that would have been teeny tiny so I'm glad I went by the comments here for sizing rather than the 2-3 sizes smaller that Block recommends!

I was excited to see these because I loved the Bloch Pro Elastic and they were true to size for me (ordering 2 sizes down from street). These seem like they'd be awesome but they just will not stay on my feet! The actual shoe fabric is stretchy which makes them very comfortable but they flopped off the back of my feet after a couple jumps. They seem maybe slightly too short but are also loose across the tops of my feet. I've never encountered a fit like this so I'm not sure if I should try bigger or smaller! I'm going back to Pro Elastic because I know they work.

I wear a size 4 street shoes, so I think I should have ordered a size 4D. Instead I ordered a size 3.5 C. However, I like the way it feels snuggly on my foot. I have a a high arch.

I love these. The sizing was a little off for me though. I usually wear a 6 so I ordered a 4 because you are supposed to order 2 sizes down. I sent them back and in the end 6.5 fit me the best. These shoes are super comfortable and show off the nice arch in you foot. I also love how you don't have to deal with that elastic band that ties.

Great product and love the service from Zappos even more. After trying to buy these shoes locally and failing, we were pressed for time. That's where Zappos excels--has the shoes (even ballet shoes) we need, in the right sizes, when we need them. My daughter loves these and I may change from the Grishkos I've been wearing for years to wear these next time I need new ballet shoes. Without the strings across the top, they provide a smooth line on the foot without a break or hitch. No danger of her tightening the laces too tight and rubbing her achilles' tendon either (yes, this happened when she was younger). We bought three pairs, one smaller than advised, one the size advised, and one larger. We will return the smallest one and keep the other two as fitting (as recommended) and a bit big.

Everything said to order two sizes smaller. I did not since my daughter has had Bloch sizes previously, so I just went up a half size hoping they would be on the larger side. The size I did order was too small. The fit and comfort were great, but I had to return them for a larger size.

I will start with a caveat- these are sized as ballet shoes not street shoes. Bloch suggests 2 sizes smaller that your US size for proper fit. These work perfectly for me to practice ballroom dance in while cannot where my regular shoes.

The directions say to order two to three sizes smaller. I did that, but the shoe was much too small. Unfortunately, I have to send them back.

Comfy, light, and ready to wear right out of the box! They're not the longest-lasting canvas slippers I've ever had, but that's okay. I used the Bloch website to determine my size, and had no problems, and I love that they come in Narrow. I've already ordered a second pair.

Both of my ballerina daughters love these ballet shoes. The cross strap design makes them feel more secure on their feet and is quite attractive.
