I absolutely love the fit of this coat! I am pretty tall (5' 9") with a slim, athletic build, with long arms and torso. This coat was long enough, sleeves were great in length, and just an overall comfortable, warm, and stylish coat!

I bought this jacket for my 9 year old daughter and she loves it...the green color looks amazing and it fit true to size...

My 18-year old daughter just went to Boston to start college and is incredibly picky about all clothing. I found this coat for her and when it arrived, this kid who rarely gives hugs leaped toward her weary Mum and gave me a giant hug and a big 'THANK YOU'. She wanted something cool and trendy in appearance; I wanted something to keep her safe and warm during frigid New England winters. We both got exactly what we wanted. I grew up in Colorado so I know what is needed for a real winter. Thank you North Face! Mrs. W.

My most favorite north face coat by far. It's stylish, warm and comfortable. I can dress it up or down and it's not to puffy all while keeping me warm!

Kept me warm (went to Alaska) and the fit was great! Wasn't sure about the color at first but I loved the color on me when I got it!!!

Loved this jacket! Detachable fur lined hoodie was super cute. Kept me warm in Iceland during my winter trip without the bulky feeling of other jackets. Loved the gray color but I'm sure the blue is stylish too. Zippered pockets a great feature to keep iphone safe and secure.

I really love this coat. I like that the fur is removable to create a different look. I like the blue color, it isn't quite navy. It fits great and I don't feel like too much of a puff ball in it.

I bought this jacket to help me tolerate freezing cold upstate NY trips. I love this jacket it is beautiful and warm. I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. I am 122 lbs and 5'4".

This is a great jacket and it goes with lots of different outfit options. It's very warm. The zippers are not great. They seem to get stuck very often. The hood is large and the fur hangs very strangely around your face. I usually just let it fall back. However if I have ever tried to use the hood the fur is definitely in the way. It would be really nice if not just the first it off but also the hood itself. I believe it runs true to size. The arms could be a tad longer. I'm happy with it but the design could use some tweaking.

I've tried several jackets this year from North Face and did not find one I liked, but this Gotham Jacket is the perfect fit for me, light weight, wind resistant, waterproof, stylish and keeps me the warmest no matter what I wear underneath. This one beats all the rest...including the Corefire, Thermoball, Tonnerro, and the Stretch Down Jacket. The fit is great and I love this jacket. Very Pleased!

Very warm in the snow

This coat is very lightweight, but it's keep you very warm and protects against harsh winds!

Love this jacket! It keeps me warm and it's stylish. I wish the logo was more visible (black on black), because I love North Face products and want people to know it!

This jacket is amazing!!! I got it in Quail Grey and the color looks beautiful just like in the picture! I got it for snowboarding and it's super warm and fluffy but fits well at the same time because of the fitted waistline. It's nice to be able to wear a puffy jacket without looking like a marshmallow!!

Very cute warm jacket, perfect length and weight. My teenager loves it! She is 5' 8" 115 lb. Bought M size for roomier fit.

I love this coat! Keeps me warm and fits well. I love that I can take the fur off the hood on rainy days and wear it on cold days!!

My daughter loves this jacket. Can layer underneath without the jacket feeling too snug/tight.

I bought this jacket for a trip to Aspen- but also travel to Tahoe frequently and this is the perfect mix of style and practicality. It kept me very warm but I also did not feel like a snowball with no shape in it. The fur is removable which was a great feature for me as I wore it both ways.

The jacket is very warm and the fitted waist is cute. Love that the fur is removable on the hood, but with the fur attached the hood is huge and covers your head even with a ponytail in. The only downside is the pockets are curved, (although cute) but very hard to zip up. Also, I have long arms and the sleeves are a little short, so they may be perfect for everyone else. Overall, LOVE this jacket. I would not recommend the white as it yellowed and I exchanged it for the navy.

My item was finally delivered this morning (after a long 3 day wait LOL) and I couldn't wait to tear into the box! I ordered the Quail Grey color and man, is it gorgeous!! Much like the stock photo, it's almost a silvery/purplish color depending on which light you see it in. I used the size finder and it determined that I needed a medium. I am 5'6 and 130lbs with a longer torso & broad shoulders. It's not super tight or bulky, but with just enough room to wear a sweater or hoodie underneath. I wish the sleeves were about 1" longer (or had the extra elastic comfort cuffs w/thumb holes like the Columbia brand has) so that when I raised my arms they didn't ride up as much as they do, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. The length of the coat falls just below my hip bones in front and covers about half of my butt in the back. I wore it today on my lunch break in mid-high 30* weather and it kept me warm, so much in fact while driving I had to shut my seat warmers and heat off! I can't speak for the durability or pros/cons of this yet since I just got it a few hours ago but I sure hope this coat holds up for many years to come!

This is a nice quality jacket, as you'd expect from North Face. I wear a 16 and the XL fit well. (I tried the XXL but it was too bulky.) The 'shady blue' is a very standard navy- I thought it would be sort of a more flattering blue from the pictures, but I kept it for quality, the design inside the hood (and fur) jazz it up a bit.
