I bought this jacket because it was already starting to get cold out and I am so glad that I did! Not only is it cute, but it fits great, it's warm and it's lightweight!

Really love the coat - only thing I would change is a way to cinch waist a little but love it!

This is my 4th North Face Parka-like coat. I have loved them all. You can't beat the durability and warmth of their coats. This coat is also very flattering and stylish. It should be good for years to come.

Very nice fit, comfortable and can fit a sweater underneath , nice inside chest pocket w zipper is a plus, nice hood too.

This is my first "real" winter since moving from the south to the northeast. I mostly walk to work so I needed a jacket that would keep me warm but also not be too heavy or bulky. This jacket is perfect and I know it will protect me against the elements when winter really hits.

I love the gray color. The pink lining is a little much, but nothing I can't get over. I ordered a medium, my typical NF size, and it fits just fine. As others have mentioned, there is definitely a bell at the bottom but it really doesn't make the coat look bad.

I am a preschool teacher and was looking for a warm coat to wear while out on the playground with my students in the wintertime. I like the length of this coat--longer than average, but not too long. The coat also looks a little more stylish than most heavy winter coats.

Great lightweight coat

A great, heav-duty (but not tooo heavy) coat for the freezing east coast winters.

Exactly what I had hoped for. Surprised store did not carry more options, ordered online instead based on in store customer service. Fit and style was perfect for campus living.

Love this jacket looking forward to colder weather so I can try it out. I only wish North Face made there woman's coats with longer sleeves. I had to size up just to make the sleeves long enough.

This one of the best coat I have ever purchased. I would recommend this to everyone. It is so light weight I can drive in it without feeling restricted. It is definitely worth every dime spent on it. I am going to purchase one for my adult daughters and grandson as xmas gifts.

Generally speaking puffer coats look puffy, but the one is tapered in at the waist and gives definition. Packs up small for travel too. And not a bad price!

This is a great parka! I love it, however, I bought it for work and it just does not seem professional enough to wear over a suit.

My favorite coat ever! I have ordered many North Face and Patagonia coats and this is hands down my favorite. Very flattering AND warm! Runs true to size.

I did a lot of research in my quest for a warm coat seeing we are having a horrible winter. I read lots of reviews and decided to try this one. I ordered it at 5:00pm Thursday and have it already the next day at 3pm! Wow! This parka is perfect! The elasticized side placket make a nice fitted look. The hood is warm and fits nicely, love the double zipper, big warm pockets, length, and the bottom of the jacket does not teepee out because there is a built in elastic gather that keeps it comfortably close which will keep the wind out. The wrists even have the same inner gather which is great. The designers put a lot of thought into this jacket.

I was deciding between several coats and ended up keeping this one. I loved that it was more flattering than most of the puffer/sleeping bag looking coats because of the slightly gathered waist and was the perfect length - butt covered (I am 5'7" and size XL) but still able to sit down and not too bulky when I need to remove it in buildings (because it is very warm). The weight is perfect - very warm but still light weight. Some reviewers mentioned that the bottom bells out - I did not think it belled out too much but gave a bit of waist definition and then room for hips/sitting. I ordered the grey color which I think is really nice in person - the pink liner is a bit bright but not overly distracting. Only negatives - I do prefer the pocket zippers on the miss metro coat - they seemed higher quality, while the pocket zippers on this coat seem a little flimsy, and I would have liked if the main zipper had a cover flap (there is a flap underneath).

My search for a warm, fitted down coat is finally over. I've been looking for more than two years and this coat is perfect. It's toasty warm (just tested it at bus stop in 20 degree weather), great length (hits me mid-thigh), fitted up top and not too puffy. I'm 5'1", 115 lbs and the XS fits perfectly. I don't love the hot pink lining on the graphite gray, but it's growing on me.

Great coat. Fits close to your body. I'm usually a small but decided to go for a medium. Glad I did, with Chicago winter-weather I can wear another sweater below and still feel comfortable. Also long enough to not let any air in through the bottom. I'm 5'5" and 130 lbs.
