Great warm and light weight coat. Length is good for me almost at my knees without feeling like I am wearing a blanket. I am a small but wear a medium in this coat. I commute daily on the train and it is a very compact warm coat. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this coat because I wanted something that would cover my upper legs but didn't feel too bulky. I am 5'3 and I got a small. It fits perfectly and it doesn't make me look too short! I would definitely recommend this for someone looking for a warm and stylish winter jacket. I live in Michigan and this will be very useful for the harsh winters we get.

I moved to the Northeast from the South last year and was completely unprepared for the cold and snow! Taking the dog outside was a task I dreaded since it always left me chilled to the bone (I live in an apartment so have to take the dog out on a leash). I received this parka as a Christmas gift this year and absolutely LOVE it! It keeps me nice and warm and does not let wind cut through. I am covered pretty much from my head to my knees - and combined with boots, I am completely covered! The coat is the perfect length, very lightweight, and a great color. The design is very cute that I can wear it out to dinner, etc. I highly recommend!

I have owned this coat for three years now and was so happy that you removed the white stitching from "The North Face" logo. I wear this coat everywhere--casual to dress occasions; that is how much I love this coat b/c it is more important for me to be warm from neck to knees. Nothing gets through this coat, cold, wind, etc. Added feature, this coat is as light as a feather who wants to carry more weight. Today, I purchased the same coat for my daughter who will be off to college in the Fall. It's hidden until I drop her off at school. She will be very surprised that she gets to wear her very own. And best part, I got 25% off and an additional $10. for my North Face donation.

I am ALWAYS cold and this coat has kept me warm in the Colorado mountain winter weather!!!

Winter in Minnesota!

I purchased this coat online for my wife for Christmas. The sizing was a bit off as I ordered a medium based on the sizing chart. When she tried it on, it was a bit snug. so we went to the local North Face store to exchange it for a large which fit perfectly.

I travel alot and it is a very comfortable driving coat. I am 5'7" and this coat is very slimming, hits at the right spot on my leg to accent my height, doesn't hit in an area to make me look short like some coats do.

Keeps you very warm!!

For being a long winter coat it is very lightweight. The hood and long length keep me warm from head to toe. I also appreciate that it is windproof, as it can be quite windy on my way in and out of work.

I love the look of this jacket! The stitching is different from the Metropoliton & fabric is more of a matte finish, than shiny. It certainly keeps me warm. I feel like I could confidently take on many harsh winters in this parka!

This is a fabulous jacket. I recommend long Northface parkas to all my friends - especially ones who move out to Chicago. I've had this jacket for year now, and I will love it. It gets below zero quite often in Chicago and there was never a time last year I felt like the cold was going to kill me. This thing is meant to keep you warm. With that said, if it doesn't get to freezing temps where you live, you probably don't need something this intense. But, if you're on the East Coast or Midwest, this will do you good. Or, if you're a Californian and need to wear this in 50 degree weather, haha... I'm a Californian so I can make fun of what babies we/they are. The ONLY thing about this jacket that is not ideal... not too much room for a big chest. If you are well endowed in that area, you may want to go try it on in store first.

This coat is worth the money! It truly is lightweight but very warm and I can wear it out everyday or to dressier occasions. Great for the Holidays!

The new slim fit is awesome!

This coat keeps me warm and cozy. I needed something to bundle up in so I wouldn't hate walking out of the house this winter. This coat works perfectly for that purpose, and it's stylish. It was slightly more than I wanted to spend for a winter coat, but it's worth every cent.

This jacket is great! This jacket is warm enough for ND winters! I love the length. I am 5'5 and it comes to my knees. The sleeves are just the right length on me as well. I have had cheaper down jackets where they shed the feathers. This one doesn't! Overall worth the money:)

It gets cold here in the winter but this coat is incredibly warm and looks great!

Since I moved to Chicago I knew I had to invest in durable winter coat. Doing the size chart it gave me the option to go for Small (I'm 5'3 and 111 lbs) but when I went to the store I saw that XS fit me better, so I ordered that one. I wasn't so thrilled about the price but now that I'm using it I see it was worth every penny! Really cozy and is also very fashionable.

Think it is perfect. Had a rip in the first one we received but y'all took care of us! Got a new one within 4 days and it was perfect.

Ordered a Med the first time but was a little large so took that back to the store and ordered a smaller size on line.Perfect. Return and shipping was flawless.

I am a teacher that does recess duty outside all winter. I have gotten many compliments on the color, fabric and fit of this coat. It also does its job of keeping me very warm without being too bulky.
