Perfect fit and very comfortable. I really liked having a coat this length because it kept me very warm from my head down to above my knees in windy, cold weather. It was very easy to fold up, pack and to carry around because it's so light in weight. I also like the option of the zip hood. Zipping the coat up is a tad irritating because of the length since I'm used to my coats hitting at the waist, but overall, I am very happy with my choice. I am 5'6"/135 lbs with broad shoulders and wear a medium in all Northface jackets (4-6 in most shirts/coats).

This jacket is the perfect coat for winter in Wisconsin. Keeps me warm and yet not heavy to wear. Love the length as well!

Was glad to see the "Miss Metro Parka" had a plain lining and not something that would clash with an outfit. I was also grateful "North Face" was embroidered in the same color as the coat and was not a glaring advertisement and distraction. I felt it was also a plus to find a 3/4-length coat that offered a detachable hood not rimmed with faux fur (whether it was removable or not). I did think, however, it would have been nice to have a more substantial zipper in metal rather than plastic and I was a little disappointed it had a double zipper which could be problematic. However, the double zipper did seem to work easily.

Love wearing this while walking the dogs and running errands. Looks nice enough to wear over suits to work. Very warm yet lightweight. Very pleased with the way it looks as well.

I love this coat so far. It fits perfectly, its very warm and also lightweight. I wear it for casual cold weather.

I really loved this jacket. I ordered it along with the transit ll jacket. I fell in love with the navy blue color and I do love the warm long coats. I would have kept it but I already have the long metropolis coat and I decided to keep the transit ll as I was really looking for a mid length coat for better functioning with my toddler in tow. If I'm looking to update my long coat I'll definitely be ordering this back! I was sad to send it back!! Fit was great and normal medium size...I love northface!!

This jacket is a MUST during the cold Minnesota winters. I love it. I originally had the Metropolis - from 2010 - 2014. I had to send it in as I was getting cold spots on my back. They fixed it, but the next winter - I felt cold again. I went to the St. Paul MN store on Grand Avenue and they offered me a new jacket. Gotta love NF lifetime warranty!!! The sales associate directed me to the Miss Metro and I am so glad they did. This jacket is 10x better than my previous one. Thank you NF!!!! You have a lifetime customer - please do not ever get rid of this beauty.

I'm a fashionista who used to live in NYC so I am particular about how I dress, but have become practical living in Seattle now. I'm glad I got this coat. I'm 5'1", 103lbs. It hits just above my knees. The fit is more form fitting like the pictures show, which is what I wanted in a long down coat. I think fitted is more flattering than straight. The sleeves are slightly long on me, but I'm short so I wasn't surprised. It's lightweight and warm, I wore it out on a Seattle winter day with a long sleeve shirt and jeans and was comfortablely warm. I bought the navy for a change of pace from black, was tempted to get the olive color, but am happy with the navy. A couple things I don't like: 1. the lining, the material used could have been better quality 2. The width of the hand pockets are small and coming from a small person, that's small. Overall though, great looking, functional coat.

I am incredibly impressed with this coat. As a professional moving to Minnesota, I needed a coat that was warm, but also presentable when walking into the office. I was also looking for something that was easy to throw on to grab groceries. I can finally step out in the negative temperatures comfortable without the need for 100 layers. I highly recommend this coat to anyone that is forced to survive in the North.

I wear it to work every day since I got it, and I get many compliments. I'm 4'10" and would fit better if PS size, but S size is okay.

I had an Eddie Bauer down coat and, while I liked it, really liked the feel of the North Face coat better. I finally purchased the North Face and am so glad I did! I absolutely love this coat. The fabric is much softer than the Eddie Bauer and it keeps me so warm! It has both a zipper and snaps! The snaps on the Eddie Bauer kept popping upon but these stay snapped. I would defiantly recommend this coat!

I bought myself this jacket for Christmas because I was sick of buying " second rate" quality for such a cold and long season. This jacket arrived in 2 days and I was in love from the second I opened the box. It's light but so warm, it's a beautiful deep red color and it fits perfect! I'm 5'9 with a medium build and the Medium is perfection. There is nothing like The NorthFace.

I received this jacket for Christmas after searching for it online, and it did not disappoint. It is much lighter weight than I had expected, yet it is still warm which I like. It is very slimming and fits great. I'm a medium and it fits true to size even over a sweatshirt.

I live in Boston,MA and during the winter it can be very cold! This coat is not only keeps me warm and very comfortable, but also has a special touch of style which I appreciate. It's has enough room for me to wear a sweater but also is lightweight when I put it on! This coat will compliment any figure and keep you warm on rainy cold days! Can't go wrong with this Parka!

I wear this product to commute to work. It is nice, and the best of this is that it is lightweight but yet very warm. The hood is a bit small for me that I have long hair and somtimes it falls. It does not provide a lot of coverage and I would have to wear a hat to keep myself warm.

I bought the coat in Urban Navy , the pattern in very flattering . I like the sueded flat fabric as opposed to shiny . Length is mid calf a little longer than I expected . I like the snap option with the flap that Covers the zipper seems more thought out for the money they should all have zipper and snap . The North Face badges on chest and arm are muted so I don't feel like a walking advertisement . Feels very warm I have yet to wear it in our cold buffalo weather because it's been pretty warm contrary to popular belief . The hood fits nice I will actually use it . It's not three times too big as I've had in the past . I would recommend this coat its sharp looks and feels like a quality garment . So far I love it !
