Purchased these Columbia Ice Maiden boots to replace a very old size 9 pair that had begun to hurt my feet. Women’s 9 1/2 medium have a nice roomy toe box! The half size up slipped a bit on the heel, and the arch support was in a sufficient for me - simple fix to add a Spenco Total Max Support insole (which I put in all the shoes/boots for walking & hiking). The lacing snugs up the fit as much or as little as I choose. The soft faux fur around the collar is comfortable - no rubbing. The height is good and the tread is aggressive enough for most any kind of snow conditions. Nothing is slip proof on solid ice. I think these boots look nice - the upper has a quilted appearance and the lower has a suede-like look. Ice Maiden is advertised as water resistant. I’ve used a silicone spray on them. LOVE these boots! Feet stay warm without getting overheated. They are like walking on little pillows. I forget I’m wearing shoes because they are so comfy. I did order a half size up, an 8 instead of 7.5.

Really comfortable. I sized 1/2 size up because I have wide feet / high arches.

Ordered both a 9.5 and a 10 because I want to be able to wear thick socks. the 9.5 (my usual) did not have enough "wiggle" room in the toes- especially with thick socks. Also a tiny bit looser in the heel

I absolutely love these boots!! I wear them daily to work and around town and I have also hiked in these in the snow and they did great!! My feet did not get cold at all and the support of the boot was impressive. Also the tread on the bottom is better than it looks. Great traction, great looking. Love these boots!!

The fit beautifully!

Nice toe box with half size larger than I have been wearing. Comfortable out of the box. Will accommodate heavier socks. Might need an arch support. . Lace up allows more custom fit. Perfect height. Soft collar, doesn’t rub. Easy on & off. Excellent traction sole. Imagine they will be warm. Black color is versatile - Great for casual wear, and imagine fine for dressier wear, too. Super comfy, plenty of room in toe for wool socks. Good walking support and yet easy to pull on and off. Wanted especially for ice grip, but have yet to test. Very pleased, especially for the moderate price.

I really like the boots. I have only worn them a couple times so far, but they are warm and comfortable. I ordered a half size up to accommodate thicker socks and they are a bit snug with thick socks but no uncomfortably so. Very lightweight and easy to walk in. The bottoms seem a little slippery on ice.

Boots are very comfortable and fit true to size. They keep my feet warm and dry in snowy cold Midwest weather.

Wide feet…then, add socks. The “fur” is only on the tongue and collar. That’s okay, “We’ll get along just fine!”
