I have a narrow heel and foot but a very wide toe box (from spending most of my days in flip-flops). I also have arch issues with my right foot and without proper arch support will end up with foot pain in the middle of my foot. With these boots, I had zero problems. I ordered them half and a full size larger and it turned out that I absolutely needed the full size larger. When putting them on, they felt a tad snug on my wide toes but once I added thick wool socks, they felt completely fine. I wore these boots for hours over the course of an active week full of mountain hikes and long walks up and down steep city hills and never felt any foot discomfort at all. They were also extremely warm in sub-zero temperatures. I walked through many feet of snow with no breach. However after a wave of frigid water washed over me, my socks were a touch damp (not soaked). Fortunately I had a spare pair of socks and the problem was resolved quickly. I would use them again in snow but not to walk through flood waters. Overall, they were comfortable, even with my hard to find shoes that fit and feel comfortable feet and kept me warm and dry in deep snow.

I got these last night and was so excited to try them in the cold MN weather. We had our first snow storm earlier this week, so I was able to test the boots today. I wore them all day. It was very comfortable and my feet were toasty warm, but breathable and not sweaty. It is easy to take off and put on and I especially love that it is light weight. I was also carrying my 1.5 year old through the snow, so these boots made it easy to walk in the snow without the bulkiness. A few reasons I am not giving it a 5 star is because, I found the same pair for $20 cheaper at a local shoe store, plus Zappos did not have the color I wanted. I originally wanted black, but opted for brown, since it was available. And lastly, because, my feet usually run wide, it did run a little narrow, but I loosened the laces (I didn't tie up my boots) and made it work...and it remained comfortable through out the day. I did not feel like the back of my heels were coming up at all, it was still comfortable and easy to walk in.

I live in the snowy midwest, and these boots fit the bill! They are safe to walk in through snow and ice, are extremely comfortable to walk a couple of miles, in and the fuzzy lining keeps my legs warm. Worth the extra money! I got tired of boots that I had to throw away after every winter. Bottom line: Comfy, warm, and winter-proof.

I have trudged through snow, ice/snow mix, and rain with these, and I only bought them a week ago. What a great decision! These keep my toes, which due to a condition get white at 50 degrees, super warm! Typically, I order my shoes 1/4 size large. I am in between a size 5.5 and 6. I read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal, but not a full size like some. I think the 1/2 size is decent choice. I have enough space for bulky socks, as it is winter, and a wet one, in NH. Additionally, they are stylish and comfortable. I have the red, so they stand out from all the other boots.

Super cute boots but I think they're going back. One real problem for me was my foot is a tad wide at the top part of my foot and I could feel a little pressure around the boot in that area. Other than that, they are so soft, easy to get on and off and very cute. Another issue for me, but maybe not for others, is that the height of the boot is a little odd, as in they are too tall and wide to go under pants, but unless you're wearing leggings or skinny jeans, I think other pants would look really odd being tucked into these boots. I think I might try a wider and taller boot for snow but honestly this boot is adorable and if not for my wide foot, I'd probably keep them and deal with the pant issue somehow. Oh, and also love that these were leather-free! Very cool to be cruelty-free.

I ordered these just in time for the onset of winter. After just one week of cold and snow, I feel like I've already gotten my money's worth. I have perpetually cold feet and ankles, but these must be lined with the fur of polar unicorns and sprinkled with dust from arctic fairies because they are unbelievably warm, waterproof, and comfortable. When it was 6 degrees (F) outside, my feet were toasty...not simply not cold, but completely and blissfully unaware that there was such a thing as cold. It's almost like I've found a way to let my feet stay in bed all day long, no matter what the weather is like. The insoles have formed to my feet and provide great support. And on top of all this, the boots are lightweight and provide good traction on slick sidewalks. Note: I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, but for these, the 9 fits just right (regardless of sock thickness).

I bought 4 pairs of boots through Zappos and these pair were the best. They are super comfortable. They look like a moccasin. The ties slide so nicely, so it's comparable to the ease of metal D rings for the laces, which makes putting them on quick and easy which is nice. I don't have to fuss with tightening each crossed lace up the boot. The traction on the bottom is almost tacky it's so grippy, and the tread is a real nice grip pattern too. I will feel safe on slippery surfaces.

These boots are wonderful. I was going on a trip through the Pacific Northwest (Portland, Seattle, Vancouver) recently and would be outside in rain and snow. I ordered several pairs of boots since I was short on time and had to find something quickly. These are the ones I kept. All of the others (North Face, Sorel, etc) were much heavier and clunkier. I have skinny calves and feet, and some of the others were so wide that when I tightened the laces to fit, it caused a lot of gapping or in some cases I could not tighten them enough. These are very form fitting and worked really well, I could tighten the laces and make the boots snug on my legs. I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot,so I was worried about the comfort, but the first day I wore these, I walked over six miles and never had any pain or problems. Because they are not super heavy, my feet didn't get tired like I imagine they would with some of the heavier boots. These are also super warm - I was outside in 20-30°F temperayires, in rain and snow, and my feet were toasty and warm the whole time. I got a half size larger so I could wear thicker socks I wear a 9½ usually and I got a 10 and they worked perfectly. They fit over leggings or jeans, and the half size extra was perfect for wearing thicker socks. I am really happy with this purchase and love these boots! And of course Zappos is the best for their awesome return policy and customer service.

I purchased these boots for my trip to Fairbanks Alaska to view the Northern Light at the end of February, beginning of March. There had been a big storm the week previous to our arrival but my boots held up perfectly in the snow and ice. I did not slip at all and my feet were warm the entire time. The lowest the temperature got was -34 but most of the time during the day it was around zero degrees. On top of being completely functional they were very comfortable. They are not stiff at all, eay to put on and take off. I'm sure they will stand up for many winters to come.

I love these boots! They are comfortable enough to wear everywhere, cute enough to wear whether it's snowing or not, and weather-proof and warm enough to tromp through a foot or more of snow and keep my feet completely dry. I received these just before the blizzard hit northern Virginia in January and was so happy to have them! I hardly wore anything else for the rest of winter. Would enthusiastically recommend to a friend.

Love these boots! Was looking for something comfortable for driving and trekking into work in the snow and these are perfect. Very lightweight and bendable. Haven't had a chance to see how warm and waterproof they are yet though as it hasn't snowed recently.

I bought these in size 7 and normally I wear a 6.5. With a 7 it will fit a thick sock for me. These are comfortable and nice looking. I bought 3 pairs of winter boots and decided to keep these ones.

I was in the market for some new boots, but being a size 12 (and hearing my friends with Sorels complaining about their boots), it made my list of options very limited. These fit the bill nicely! They're a little narrow up around the toes but they dont rub anywhere painfully and they're cute to boot, pun intended. They have excellent tread as well, which makes all the difference on an icy campus. I was able to walk around town in them as well without getting sore too. I definitely recommend these boots!

So much better than my sorels. They are light, slip right on and off, and are warm and comfy. Also waterproof. Best boots for on and off dog walking in the snow. Love them. Sorels are now in the closet.

Love these boots! Kept my feet warm and dry in January at Breckenridge - and in a very cute and stylish way. The grips on the soles kept me from slipping on the ice. I usually wear a 5 or 5.5 so bought a 6 to accommodate thick socks. Fit perfectly.

Read other reviews and ordered half size up. I love these boots. They are super comfortable, lightweight, and warm. Everything I need for Chicago winters!

I love these boots. They are as comfortable as sneakers even when worn all day. Great traction and protection from the elements. Keep my feet warm even with thin socks. I ordered my usual size 9 and they fit fine.

I absolutely love these boots! Nice toe room, soft and waterproof. Not the stiff base some of the other winter boots have. Very warm, very light. I have wide feet and have no problem with these. Love love. I ordered the black. Very happy.

These boots would be comfy and easy to pull on, but are just a little short in the toe box. The arch fits nice and the heel too, so I did not want to order a size up. Sorry to send them back.

These boots are great It’s been a tough winter here in Northern New England and feet stayed warm (with heavy socks at 0 degrees F) and dry Excellent traction for shoveling Walked 3.5 miles comfortably. Great value at $59.00

Love! Fit comfortable. The white turns out to be not too much. I'm tall, so I like that there isn't much thickness to the sole, but some good tread. I'm thinking about going back to buy another color, just to have multiples. Super comfortable, warm and wonderful. Oh...and I wish they had a size larger, because I really like to wear thick socks in winter. Go bigger!

Mmm, they are cute but no arch support...and feels like half size smaller. Oh bother! They have to go back. Comfort is only 2 stars.
