These boots are really nice and very comfy. My daughter and I each got a pair. Had to go up 1-1.5 sizes, but that's typical for boots like this.

What I love about these boots is that they are very light weight and they are very cozy inside. You don't need very thick socks. They look nice with both sporting and casual attire. Although this doesn't have to do with the boots, I should say that Zappos gave me the best service when I returned the first pair because they had a little defect.

Love these, it's like walking on warm, fluffy clouds. I've had them about a month now and have walked through about a foot of snow with no problems. My only issue is the heel is wide.

The Columbia Minx Shorty Omni-Heat is a cute, short, warm & comfy little boot for those days when you have just an inch or two of snow on the ground, but want to keep your feet protected. Super lightweight, and the Omni-Heat works great. I live in Chiberia (aka Chicago) and take public transit, so these have passed those high endurance tests!

Love these boots. I purchased the red. It is a darker red. Always wear a 7.5 (don't own any other size), but Zappos was out of red in my size so I sadly ordered an 8 knowing I would have to return them. Happily, this is the first 8 in my closet. Shoes felt a little strange when I first put them on, but after wearing them around the house a couple hours, they had formed to my feet and are like bedroom shoes. The lining is super warm. I don't like wearing thick socks and most of the time do not wear any socks - just the shoes and this works great with these boots (if you like thick socks, take my word for it and go up a full size). Also, if you are looking for arch support, not the right boot for you.

I normally wear a 7.5 but often go up to 8 for boots, so I debated about the size on these. Based on reviews I went with 7.5 and that seems to work though they are on the snug side (but not so tight that I want to size up to an 8). They aren't bright red, not quite as dark as a burgundy; I think they're cute. They are super warm and cozy! Traction is good - I think I will feel quite safe in the ice and snow. They are only ankle height but we don't get a lot of deep snows here so they should be just right for me. Overall pleased with these and will consider the taller version if I ever decide I need taller snow boots!

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. Not only are they warm but they have plenty of room for my toes. Zappos, I love your customer service. It is excellent. Thanks Zappos!

Love these boots. Shoveled my walks in 14 below zero temperature and my feet never got cold. Plenty of support and cushion for wearing all day and walking the dog.

I've worn these to/from working and walking to the local coffee shop via snowy sidewalks, so I have not truly "winter-tested" them (i.e. snowshoeing, hiking, etc.). I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear so I can wear a wool sock with them, and they fit perfectly. They are waterproof - which is wonderful - and the sole has excellent grips to keep you safe when it's slippery. Also, the sole is flexible which keeps foot muscles engaged and warm. Also, the fur on top and the red/tan laces make these a decently cute winter boot. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Bought these for a trip to Iceland and couldn't be happier. They're super warm, comfortable, & waterproof. I bought them half a size bigger like other reviews said, which was nice when I wore thick wool socks, but with normal socks they felt too big.

These boots are great! They're much cuter in person. Like other reviewers said, there's not much arch support, but you could easily put an insole into them. They are cushioned like a slipper or Nike Free, but still offer support. I'm not sure if they're hardcore hiking worthy but I wear them running errands and on campus and they're great. I had to buy a half size up!

My feet are so warm and dry, even in 20 degree Chicago weather. The boots are light and easy to walk in, like sneakers, and they don't let in water if you're walking through cold rain. The red is bright and cheerful. I'm buying a pair for my mom for a gift.

The boots are great. Very comfortable and warm and not too bad to look at, as far as fashion vs. warmth is concerned.

Great short boot, totally water proof and very warm. No complaints! I wear them for walks outside with the dogs, usually without socks, and they work perfectly even with the foot of snow we just got. My feet stay warm and dry. I got the red color, really cute.

I wear a size 11 and they fit fine with thin socks. They may be a little snug with thick socks but given how warm they claim to be you shouldn't need thick socks. I think they are very stylish and I was quite excited to find them. They have nice traction on the bottom. I have not worn them for any length of time yet but support and feel felt fine.

I have never tried this brand but my old teal boots are damaged, so I loved the color. We had a polar vortex and temps plummeted to the teens, and I wore them yesterday. Fantastic comfort and they were so warm! No worries about snow either. Now I want another pair!

I love these boots! Just wore them for the first time as winter has come to Colorado. My feet stayed toasty warm and I felt safe on the slippery sidewalk/parking area. I had a hard time deciding on which color to get and finally chose the elk/red orchid which I am very happy with. I am a 7 1/2 and that is the size I ordered and they are perfect. My foot is narrow so I wear a thicker sock underneath and find that works great. I am hoping to be able to order another color in the future as I know I will be wearing them often.
