Love this vest! It's comfy, also flattering - nice lines. Practical with zip pockets (that have crackly paper-like sound in pockets, weird but ok). Getting lots of wear this winter!

I'm a vest guy at work - always in and out of the car and people's homes in all kinds of weather. Consequently, heavy outerwear gets in the way. A vest and lighter jacket work great in cooler weather - keeping me warm but not too hot, and mobile without bulk. It makes a great midlayer when in the back country snowshoeing as well.

I was never a vest guy until I was given the Atom LT Vest as a gift and now it comes with me for nearly every activity -- beyond any bit of gear I have, it's the first thing that gets pulled out of the closet when packing for a trip or stuffed in my pack on the way to the mountain. It offers just the right amount of warmth and wind blockage to be my go-to outer layer for skinning up-hill or enjoying a chilly summer evening. For colder days at the ski hill, its perfect to regulate temperature between chilly mornings and warmer, sunnier afternoons. The best part about it is that for the amount of time I wear it for high-aerobic activities (and I'm a sweaty fella) it never takes on that nasty gear-stink that tends to permeate layers. In short, I love it.

I recently picked up the Atom Lt vest and am not disappointed. It's perfect for days when you need a little extra insulation but a full sleeved jacket would be too much. It's very light weight but warm ,I don't even notice I'm wearing it. The hand warmer pockets are fleece lined which is a nice feature. It's very packable like smaller than a softball. I wear it for casual use and hiking. I'm 6' 190# and a large fits perfectly.

I rarely find myself not either wearing this vest or having close to hand. It seems to me to be a perfect layer, providing core warmth without any bulk, happy as an outer layer or within a system, perfectly presentable on the mountain or a casual night out. The only conditions it is not ideal for is as an outer layer in rain, but I frequently wear it as my only mid layer under a jacket (and even my drysuit when paddling) and it's synthetic 'warm when wet' powers are super useful those scenarios. I have two in different colours!

I really like the functionality of this vest. Its great to be worn alone when its a little bit too cold to wear a long sleeve T. Or it can be worn underneath a light jacket to keep your core warm.

Seasonal vest in the south. Seriously. Pairs great with a long sleeve button up shirt and either pants or shorts. Not too puffy, could easily be worn as a base layer with a rain jacket over for a parka effect.

I love this vest and plan on buying another one soon. I wear it underneath my jacket on a cold day, or alone on a cool day. I can't say enough about it!

I had a Patagonia nano puff vest that got stolen from my pack on a climbing trip, so I decided to treat myself to something nice and got this awesome vest. It fits so well, and looks pretty sleek so I can wear it over work clothes to the office, but performs great in the outdoors- it also packs down well. I love the water resistance of the fabric so in a mist or if I spill tea on it it just slips right off and I'm still warm and dry.

This is by far my favorite vests of the several I own. Living in Southern California I often need just something light to keep my torso warm and this is perfect. I wear it under my raincoat on the colder, rainy days ( not to many of those in So Ca) and often around the house during the winter evenings when we don't want to turn the heat on but need a little extra layer. Easy to move in and looks great on.

I had one in black but got stolen couple of months ago. I went for a 3 weeks trip to Middle East and missed it so much that as soon as I came back bought one in Admiral colour and enjoy it even more then the black one I had. It makes my trips very easy since it comes handy in any situation and climate temperature. From the warmth of the day to chill of the night. It saved me so many times. The cut is very good, not too loose so it looks sporty and elegant.

I am a 5'10", 155 lb. male. I own the vest in size small, and it fits perfectly. I can wear it over a tee shirt or polo, and especially like it over a sweater. It also layers perfectly underneath a rain shell and insulated winter jacket. It basically works with everything I own in terms of layering functionality. It forms to my body, but is not snug. The vest is super light weight and while I saw someone knock the updated collar, I prefer it because you can zip it down a bit and it will stand up - rather than collapse in on your next as the previous collar design did. For this reason, I find the updated collar to be more comfortable. The vest does a great job of insulating, while looking attractive at the same time. I own in color Admiral (navy, one of my favorite colors). I look forward to see the other colors it may come in in the future. I will certainly be picking up a second vest.

My wife surprised me with my first vest as an anniversary gift about 3 years ago. To her surprise I wore it nearly everyday (as I'm super picky). Eventually I snagged it on the garage door tearing a little hole in the back, and then she surprised me with another after I wore the heck out of the first one after about two years. Love this vest. Am wearing it now in my office. The only thing I could suggest is that they taper it a little in the waist as it fits a bit straight, but it doesn't stop me from loving it.

After the perfect gilet / vest? Look no further... Easy to take anywhere (I'm yet to find a bag I can't stuff this into somewhere!) and punches above it's weight in terms of warmth. Comfortable and hard wearing it's great on it's own for those cooler autumn / spring days or as a layer when it's cold. I had one of these for a few years until it recently went missing. I missed it so much I've now replaced it.

I'm fairly new to the outdoor industry; I skiied a lot before joining an outdoor retailer nearly a year ago, but did little else and my knowledge of what was out there was very limited. I immediately fell in love with the look and feel of the thing. I bought one primarily for skiing, but have found myself using it for everything. As soon as the weather gets even remotely cold, I throw it on. Incredibly lightweight, I often forget I'm wearing it until I overheat, at which point I unzip and just notice a bubble of hot air venting out from my torso. Stuffs away into the darkest corners of my pack, and the non-locking zip is great for venting out hot air when I'm a little toasty (which considering the number of times I wear it on the Underground, is a lot) Works well for everything; I have used it for hiking, commuting, skiing (under an insulated jacket), and just relaxing at home. I look forward to expanding my Atom range for my new Sabre ski shell next season. Like I said, I work in the outdoor industry, and have no hesitation recommending this item as the go to mid layer as it's lightweight, stuffable, wind/showerproof and it looks and very well; I got one for my mum who also loves it when she's out hiking! Yes a little pricey, and I *think* there's been a jump up in price this year, but definitely worth every penny.
