These are the winner! Besides these, I ordered 3 other pair of shoes (New Balance WW1765v2, Mizuno Wave Paradox 2, Brooks Adrenaline GTS 16). I was looking for a pair of shoes to replace my Reebok Runtone (that I absolutely loved). I'm an avid walker (5 miles a day) with planters fasciitis, flat feet and slightly wider feet (but not necessarily needing a Wide shoe). These shoes are awesome! They have great support, especially in the heel. They are very comfortable with just the right amount of cushion. Wouldn't recommend them for running or cross fit, etc. Perfect for walking and every day use. Based on reviews I did order a wide size and they fit perfect, overall size fit true.

Exalt 2 is not the same as the original Exalt. The arch support has been changed which has given me a mild case of plantar fasciitis and the laces are too short to use both of the holes at the top. I am terribly disappointed with these shoes. I have contacted Asics about my disappointment, which they replied that styles do change. I do understand changes need to happen, but if Asics is going to change the whole fit, then they should also change the name of the shoe. I still wear my original Exalts, which has been the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have owned.

After over a year, these are still my go-to workout shoes (other than when I am doing serious weightlifting, in which case I will shift to flatter sneakers). These look good and provide a lot of support; I would buy these again!

I have loved Asics for a long time until they changed the toe box to become narrower after the Gel Kayano 18! I have found that if I go up a full size larger than I wear and also order a W it seems to work okay!

I love this shoe! Wore it to class right out of the box. It easily fit my orthotics. I wear it for all of my cross training. Ordered half a size bigger just so I have lots of room.

Love these shoes for my workouts - strength training, step and hi-low aerobics. Good support and provide enough flexibility for lateral movement. Bought these to replace my last Exalt 2.

These shoes arrived yesterday - and I love them! The color is gorgeous, just as it appears in the picture, if not better. Fit is perfect, I wear an 8 and ordered an 8.5. Very comfortable. Highly recommend.

I was unable to find this shoe in my size in the stores in my town. The clerk called other stores to see if they had them and they didn't. My husband recommended Zappos and I found them exactly as I wanted in my size and the cost was about the same as in the store. There was no shipping charge either.

Working on my feet in a hospital I found these give me good support for my pronating feet. I wear an 8½ and they are true to size. This is my second pair of this model. I will continue to buy Asics.

I love my Asics, and these are as expected - but be forewarned that they run small, so order up a 1/2 size. I always do with Asics and am never disappointed. Great color too!

Perfect fit right out of the box and I received several compliments on my new shoes the first day I wore them. This purchase was an exchange and Zappos customer service was amazing.

I love these shoes so much, I think I will order another pair in a different color. They are better than flip flops or going barefoot. They are like walking with pillows on your feet.

Love these shoes. I have been trying Brooks and Asics different styles for the past three months. Out of the box these have been wonderful. I am overweight and do not really pronate. The weight of these are perfect. I also bought them in wide and regular and really there is not a whole lot of difference and the wide are hard to find. I have walked miles in these and no issues. I have ordered additional pairs because every time I find something I like, they change it so I am going to have happy feet for a while.

Love this shoe for its arch support and lightweight feel. I have the same shoe in mostly pink so changed to blue laces. Good price for a great shoe! If you can't decide between half size, recommend choosing the half size up.

I'm a big Asics fan and was in need of a new pair of walking shoes. I do 5-6 miles a day so comfort is huge for me. I hadn't tried the Exalt yet but all of the other GEL shoes I'd had were great and I like the colors so I gave it a go. These shoes are SO comfortable, no breaking in needed, I just put them on and took off. I have a wide foot so the toe box roominess is greatly appreciated. They are comfy, lightweight, and just a joy to walk in and the price is great too!

Just started running so I am not that picky yet about my shoes. But these are comfortable and fit true to size. Color is a little more "neon/brighter" than I expected but it makes for better visibility.

I really enjoy these shoes. Fit really well, comfortable while I'm on my feet all day. The shoes breathe nicely as well. I bought a pair of blue shoelaces that match the dark blue in the shoes. Switched out the pink ones for the blue and I like the look a lot. I wear them to work so I wanted to tone them down.

These are great sneakers - comfortable and supportive. I have plantar fascia issues and these are perfect. Ran 14 miles in them and no problems. I like that the toe box is rounded and not pointy so plenty of toe room. Going to order another pair.

I love these sneakers! I thought they were a little bright at first, but now they are fun to wear and I get compliments on them. My orthotics fit great inside; I love the amount of cushioning that the sneaker provides whether I am walking or exercising. I have tried other brands, but Asics is the best fit and most comfortable for me. They are great sneakers for an affordable price!

The coral is more of a pink highlighter color. Other than that, the shoe was exactly what I expected. Immediately comfortable, no breaking in required.

I love these shoes! They're comfortable, have great support, fit beautifully and look fantastic. Even my 20-something sons are impressed!

These are fantastic. I wear 12W and finding shoes that fit and are cute is pretty difficult. These have room enough for my wide feet, are comfy to walk in (I am not a runner) and they are bright and cute! #winning

I love Asics. Aside from my Zumba shoes, they're the only brand of athletic shoe I buy because they seem to be made a little wider than, say, Nike, and they've always fit true to size for me. I've also found good support in them in the past. Unfortunately, the Gel-Exalt 2 must not have had the same support as I'm used to in Asics. After classes with a lot of jumping, my lower back would hurt, a problem I don't have in my other Asics. I had this same problem when I would walk in them for longer than a half-hour. I am giving a 4 for style because the color is definitely not my favorite, but I don't usually buy shoes for their color so it wasn't a huge deal.

Great all purpose sneakers. I use them for the gym. Very comfortable and a nice sturdy heel. Order 1/2 size up.
