Perfect for an airplane ride. I used is as a pillow and it was also great because it wasn't too bulky. never thought of the vest for that use. But now, it's a staple in my travel bag

Use it underneath my jacket for indoors where you need a sweater, but in a formal attire setup the vest looks great.

It's a good vest, although the cut is a little larger than normal for a size m. The quality of the fabric is good but I think the details of craftsmanship are below the quality of similar products from the competition. It would be perfect to have a lining on the neck part. The color of the TNF black model is different from what you see in the pictures.

Bought for my husband. It runs a little big but he wanted to keep it to have some room for layering. Very comfortable. He got the black, but it's actually not a true black, more muted. Overall, a good buy and he will wear it for many years to come!

I bought my first North face about 4 years ago. It is a product that will last. Living in the Texas Panhandle you can have all four seasons in one day. It is very warm and true fit.

As stated, I'm a 3peat buyer, that's how much I like this vest. My first one was an '15 model in skyscraper gray (light gray/light gray logo). It had elastic around the arm hole which was sometimes uncomfortable, and had some shrinkage after numerous washes like most garments. No big deal, I still loved it. The second, in '16 TNF's apex material, was in medium gray (med gray/med gray logo) with a better fit. I liked the subtle logo on both vests and the apex material hasn't shrunk. Perfect! I eventually put small burn holes in my light gray vest from a campfire so I wanted to replace it. I went to a national chain sporting goods store to search for the same colorway (skyscraper gray) and found that the light gray had a brown logo. I didn't like it and why I dinged it a star. I opted for TNF's medium gray heather/black logo. Other than that, this is a great vest for taking the chill out of the fall weather and great layered under TNF's jackets for the winter!

Stylish but functional. Does not completely block the wind but otherwise is very toasty. It will substitute for a fleece jacket easily.

These vests are great! Super comfortable but I wished they were made in tall sizes so not to be so short in me.

The vest is worn for active casual wear. It is light weight warm and stylish but durable if the situation arises.

This is an excellent vest. Vest is stylish and attractive. The collar is the on portion I have a problem with. Wish it was larger to turn up in windy weather.

Gift for my son, he is tall and thin and loves the fit. He wanted something that looked less casual than a fleece vest. Tried the Patagonia Better Sweater vest but it is made boxy and he did not like the fit. Wears the Gordon a good bit of the time.

Brother received this for Xmas and absolutely loves it. He can wear with casual or layer up while hiking in Denver.
