These are really cute, versatile flats. Good for work and for a night out. I'm hoping they'll get more comfortable once they're broken-in, but now they are pretty stiff, and they rub a little bit in a couple spots.

I didn't keep these shoes because I couldn't decide if I wanted to "break them in." I have medium width feet and my normal size felt to tight across the toes, but the next size up slipped off my heels. Otherwise, I was happy with the style and the quality was as expected for Steve Madden. Just not the shoe for my feet.

I agree that these were uncomfortable at first (I also needed bandaids!) but I've had these for a while now, and can tell you that they have stretched and become the most comfortable pair of flats that I own! And I get compliments on them all the time. Give them a little time and you'll be in love.

Great style that is simple enough to go with anything but also a little edgy. I did have a problem with the back coming up too high and giving me a blister, and also the inside cutting into the bones below my big toe (where the shoe cuts away) Maybe I should have gotten larger size...I sprayed with rubbing alcohol and wore around the house over socks and they stretched pretty well.

I love these flats. That are wonderful if you are a taller person and dislike wearing heels. They look cute and professional, but they are a bit tight. Also if you have slightly wider foot they can rub your toes a bit, but not horribly.

I am between 7.5 and 8 in shoes and always get an 8 in flats. These were slipping off my heel so I had to return them. Overall, they just were not as cute on as they seem online. The make my feet look longer than they really are. The material felt nice though and the front has a little toe cleavage which I think is cute.

I love the look of these shoes. I'm a 9.5 and the size was right. However, they did rub on the back of my heel. I got soft heel grippers at the drug store and put them along the upper part of the back of the shoe and this helped a lot. A great nude flat when the rubbing problem is fixed.

It took me a while to break in these shoes at first. Went through a week or so before I felt like they were comfortable enough to wear without bandaids. Once they were broken in a loved them. Loved the style. They wore down pretty quickly, then I ended up running into a major issue: IF YOUR FEET SWEAT AT ALL AKA IF YOU ARE A NORMAL HUMAN, do not invest money into these shoes. The soles of these shoes are made of fabric instead of patent, so when your feet sweat, the sole absorbs the sweat, and they will eventually smell. No matter how hard I tried to clean them, the smell will not go away. So pretty and eventually comfy, but because they have the fabric sole and absorb sweat, I cannot recommend them.

I found with Steve Madden flats that if I buy the smaller end of my size, 7 1/2, they break in very easily. Even though I fit into 8s, I always buy 7 1/2s with this brand. As with ballet flats, they don't offer a whole lot of support or cushioning, but these are my go-to shoes during the summer. I buy them every year. I have wide feet and have never had a problem with breaking in the shoes after a few wears.

I have relatively wide feet, and on Day 1 of wearing this shoe, I had to take them off and change shoes because they hurt so bad.

The suede inside was incredibly uncomfortable and made my feet get hot very quickly. The inside started to look really bad almost immediately, and they never stopped rubbing my heel even after I had worn them many times. I do like the style, but I ended up just having to get rid of them.

These shoes are horribly uncomfortable. I needed a good pair of black flats for work and I regret purchasing them.

I couldn't walk more than a few steps in these, they hurt so bad. They come up way too far in the back. I love the style and think they're beautiful shoes, but they are just NOT for me.

Bought these and the back heel cut into my foot immediately and continued to rub into it for weeks. Now I find they've been stretched too much. I doubt I'll buy this shoe again.

If it were not for how badly it hurts trying to break these in I would love them. The back of the heel was extremely sharp and I thought it would be better if I went up a size. I tried that but the shoes ended up being too loose and uncomfortable to walk in. So I went back to the original size I had. The backs cut into the back of my foot and nothing has helped or reduced the pain. I wear them for a day, and then wait about a week for my heels to heal and then wear them again to try and break them in more. Overall, if it were not for how hard it was to break them in they would be a much better shoe. I got them in black and they go with just about everything.

Gorgeous color and fit my borderline wide feet comfortably. However, how much foot is shown emphasized how big my 8.5 feet look compared to my height (ha). Unfortunately, these shoes will be going back and my search for the perfect work flats continues. True to size -- I normally wear a 8.5 and these fit perfectly. I think they're overpriced for the quality (very nice out of the box, but didn't seem durable).

I ordered my usual size (7 1/2), and there were definitely too big lengthwise. I didn't have a chance to try a half-size down before I had to wear them to an event, but I somehow sense they would be too small if I did -- maybe because of the pointy toe? The cut-out side is stylish but, in combination with the extra space, made my feet feel in constant danger of slipping out of the shoes. In short, as others have pointed out, some serious sizing and comfort problems here. But they are cute and dressy flats. I'm 60% regretful, 40% willing to deal.

These are cute and comfortable but they do not offer much support. My feet are wide and these make them look even wider! Will be sending them back. I love Steve Madden's shoes but these are a no go.

Shoe did not hold up well at all.

I really wanted to like these. I have been on a search for flats to replace the ones that I had that gave me blisters. Ladies, if you have even slightly wide feet like I do, then these flats are NOT for you. After reading some of the reviews about how these flats caused blisters, I can tell how they would because even just walking around my house in them, I can feel them rubbing. Maybe they would break in, maybe they wouldn't. Finally, I ended up deciding that these flats are a little too "old" for me. I just turned 30 btw, so if you are possibly looking for an "older" looking flat, then these might be good for you. Anyway, I will be returning these when I get around to it. And so the search for the perfect flats continues!

Cute shoe but very uncomfortable. Pointed toe is fashionable but pinches the sides of my feet like crazy, threw these away after 2 very uncomfortable wears.

These are among the least comfortable shoes I've bought. They're cute, and they look nice, but there is zero support, almost no cushion at all, and the interior seams cause blisters after short durations. I have great arches and no foot issues, and can usually wear anything. I wouldn't recommend these at all.

I was really pleased when they arrived, and fit perfectly true to size. I'm usually an 8.5 (sometimes a 9), and the 8.5 fit great. However, I have to throw these out. The rubbing on the heel is unbearable. I wore them three times, twice to an average work day, and once out at night. On one occasion the rubbing was so bad, that I was literally bleeding over the back of the heel. Most painful cute shoes I've ever purchased.

These shoes are cute, especially with the cut out on the side. However, they have completely torn my feet apart. I've worn them a few times thinking that I could break them in, but every time I've ended up with band-aids on my heels due to these shoes digging in and cutting my feet. Cute, but just not practical.
