Fit, durability and warmth all exceed expectations. Recipient is a truck driver in extreme weather and jacket keeps him ward and dry.

This is a perfect parka for traveling and still be protected with a couple of underlayers. Nicely built for comfort.

Typical high-quality Columbia product. At 6' and 180 pounds with long arms, I normally wear a large. This jacket runs waaay large. The body is oversized and the arms are long, even after accounting for multiple layers underneath.

Exceptional value for a ski jacket - well insulated and vented. Medium is true to fit too. This is the third of this range that I have bought and they are long lasting and comfortable. I wouldn't buy any other brand.

Bought this to replace a Columbia winter coat I've worn for more than a decade. Hated to part with my old one, and there is no exact equivalent. This one is a bit longer, so there are some tradeoffs involved: zipping and unzipping, getting in and out of a car. But the upside is: very warm, fabulous in strong wind, and plenty of room if you like to layer. For me, this can work fine as a subzero (F) jacket for most of the outdoor activities I would do in that kind of weather--but with a layer of fleeze underneath. For the zero to freezing range, I've found it comfortable without any added layers. At 35 or better, I'm a little too warm in this jacket--unless heavy winds are involved. Then it's perfect. Your experience may vary. The fabric is stiffer than I expected. This takes a little getting used to. But I doubt the waterproof/windproof/coldproof level can be achieved without some stiffness--at this pricepoint. Maybe those really puffy down jackets do it. I've never tried those and can't compare.

Bought this jacket for a trip to Europe to visit outdoor markets in early December. Due to rainy forecast, i wentvwith this Columbia ski jacket. Its totally waterproof, yet breathes well. The hood can be removed easily for dry days, which was a key reason i bought it. Im totally happy with it, and got a great price around Black Friday sales.

I love this jacket. It keeps me very warm and it is very comfortable! Lots of pockets inside and out! No issues whatsoever and the snow Falls right off didn't even stick to me.

Great warmth without the bulk. I can easily move around and the jacket does not bunch up. I wear an XL for my wide shoulders and the coat body has the right space without being too big. Good sized pockets, too and in the right places. I keep the detachable hood in the goggles pocket so it's always there when I need it. Great everyday jacket when not on the slopes!
