Does a good job staying warm, but would order a size down from normal.

Bought this as a gift and my partner LOVES it! He usually wears a L but fit M comfortably. Zappos was amazing in helping with the exchange in sizes as well. Highly recommend

This product has been a dream. I wanted something warm to wear but still be able to move around and do things outside. Not only is it warm it folds into itself and easy to pack for when I travel. Hands down love The North Face products and will continue to get more.

My husband is very outdoorsy and this vest allows him to be flexible and warm. It's also perfect for just working outside in the yard on cold days.

I owned one previous to this purchase which I loved. I was in a bad accident and sadly the vest didn't survive the head on car collision, but luckily I did. It was trivial, but I missed my Nupste vest. So much warmth without burning up. Compresses well underneath any other jacket if you need to layer it up. I like to wear this over dress shirts or sweaters and it works well for me in the cold North Dakota winters that way. Keeps me warm enough that I do not worry about not having an actual sleeved coat on my arms. its a must have!

I ordered the product to wear when cold. I ordered some flannels to go with it. One day, a cold day in December, I arrived home from my classes. Sitting on my porch was the brown shipping box. I hurried inside and opened the box. What was inside? Why, this beautiful all black vest. What a site to behold. As soon as I could, I tried it on with my red and black flannel and took a dope selfie for the gram. 40 likes, 50 likes. All the way to 97 likes on my little ol' selfie. Then the next day, I decided to wear it out. The looks on the people's faces as I climb out of my car. I looked like a Modern Day Marty McFly from Back to the Future. "Wow, what a stylish guy!?" The people thought as I adjusted my wrist watch and began to walk to my destination. Because of this vest, my social life has been on the rise for days. For me, I would definitely purchase. Especially if you're planning to be the most stylish human being on your block.

This vest definitely meets my expectation, keeping me warm indoor and outdoor. Also, it is cozy and fluffy. On a side note, it is machine washable, but I used three cycle of dryer (on ultra low heat) to make it fluffy again.

I love this vest. The only downside is it's a little too warm for where I live. Up in the mountains this weekend though and it's perfect. Everyone wants to barrow it.

I am 5' 11" and weigh 220 lbs. I tried a Large but it was too tight. So, I got an Extra Large and it fits fine. Roomy enough but not too bulky. Just now getting use to wearing it.
