Its pretty light weight considering how warm it is! Very comfortable. Although its a standard fit, its a very comfortable fit, I personally like something with a more active fit. Pockets are nice and warm with the fleece lining. The inner chest pocket is on the left and goes very far down, I personally use it to hold a small portable charger. Just a very good jacket.

I wore this jacket for the first time skiing in Colorado and it was more than I expected for being warm and wind proof.

Great Jacket. Leaves just enough room for a nice sweater if needed. Looks nice and simple and is very comfortable. The flaps on the pockets maybe facing the wrong way though. They work, but it is a little odd.

This is a classic old-school down coat. Big puffy baffles. No attempts at DWR or water-resistant down. No exotic materials, technical features, accommodations for adventures most of us never do in winter. It just aspires to be a basic warm down coat that works with a minimum "feature set." And that's just fine for most of us who can't find that anymore, told we need super light weight, trick fabrics, extra pockets, harnesses. Well-built and correctly-sized, it gets the basics very right and stops there. Refreshing to see that approach in this sector and especially from TNF. But skip the all-black version unless you want to be a walking billboard for the company.

This is a great winter jacket. Very comfortable, looks good and most importantly it is warm. I've always had good experiences with TNF in the past and this jacket is another reason for me to keep buying from them. And of course Zappos shipped it super fast as always.

I love this jacket, I get complements on it all the time! It keeps me warm in the harsh Chicago cold, and it very soft and comfortable to wear. I am really glad I got it!

This is the second nupste I have, the old model feels more comfortable.

This product was bought to be used in cold weather. The quality is extremely bad. Does not protect against cold weather. The neck area was not insulated, it felt it was full of air. 8 years ago I bought same one and it was made with a much more standard quality material .

bought a north face down jacket in college in 1974 the same quality, style, rain proof, warm & light weight has not changed in all those years. another great buy then & now! nothing like north face down jackets

I recommend this jacket, it's so light but it's a little big so make sure you get the right size.

Bought this for a cold weather trip and was not disappointed with the warmth. Fit is a little bulky and it has no features, but it kept me warm so 4 stars overall. Good quality jacket which, disappointingly, doesn't fit as snugly as my old nuptse vest so I'm considering having it slightly tailored to fit a little more snugly.

I just bought this jacket and as soon as I unpacked it, I thought this is the jacket for me! It is extremely stylish and comfortable. The pattern on the jacket looks so modern but also so old school. Just a great fit and great look! I would definitely buy this again and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Love the jacket. My only criticism would be that the pocket zipper covers are facing forward when I think they should be facing backward since that's the way we put our hands in, back to front, not front to back.

I bought this jacket for my husband, I wanted something in a puffer style that was packable as my husband travels a lot for work. He used to never take a coat because one destination would be warm and his next destination would be cold and he didn't want to haul a coat around with him in the warm temps. This packs into a pocket and fit inside the front pouch of his carry on. He really likes it and was surprised something that packed up so small was as warm as it it.

I love this jacket.Never owned a Northface before but I'm glad I bought it.

I got the coat just in time for the extreme cold for my husband. He is satisfied with it. The only problem with it is that it seems to release feathers already.
