My daughter has been living in these pedipeds since we ordered them last month! They are very light weight and must be very comfortable as she never complains about them. Sturdy enough for the playground and they dry quickly if she gets them wet. Great spring/summer shoe!

My 3 year old loves these shoes (as do I!) They are great for summer because she doesn't have to wear socks with them, and they act the same as sneakers. They are light and I have already machine washed them and had them come out looking exactly the same. Don't order up- they will be too big.

My daughter likes these shoes a lot and finds them comfortable. They are definitely high quality compared to other brand we have bought. I do find that they take longer to dry than is ideal.

Cute(ish), versatile, washable! They seem a little larger than my daughter's current size 25 Pediped Dakotas. I like that they're slimmer; she doesn't trip over the toes or sides of the shoes like she does on Keens, which is important because her only speed is running. I thought the styling could be a little cuter. I think they look better in the pictures. My daughter had no complaints though. I am looking for a sandal with or without toe protection that can be worn on long walks, water parks, beach, with skirts and anything else. The strap comes up a little too high on the foot for my liking with skirts, though it doesn't look awful; I'm just picky. If you're considering a closed shoe with mesh/breathability, Pediped Minnie is very cute, washable, and versatile. I was just looking for a sandal instead this year.

These sandals are absolutely adorable but run very wide! We had to send them back because the wider width caused the shoes to rub her heels and the tops of her feet when she walked. They are lightweight and perfect summer sandals if your child has wider feet.

I like pedipeds, but their sizing takes a lot of guesswork which is frustrating. They'd get higher marks in the overall and comfort categories if they would resolve this issue. I accurately measured my daughter using the chart from their website and ordered the correlating size, but it will still ginormous. I tried to order the next size down, but those were out of stock, so I just went with a different brand entirely - KEEN Kids Seacamp II CNX.

Overall, very cute shoe. The only issue is that my kid’s pinky toe would always pop out through the side hole. Not super comfy just because of that issue.

I will be exchanging this shoe for something else because it is too big/wide for my daughter. I ordered the 7.5/8 - she is wearing size 8s now and I feel she's nearly ready to move up in many shoes. Anyway, the Sahara Flex shoe is so wide and so long that her foot slips right out. I'm a big proponent of buying on the big side to make room for growth, but no can do on this one.

This shoe is very cute but for the price, I feel like it lacks adequate support for an active 4 year old. If my daughter didn't already wear them outside, I would have returned them. They will be great for the pool but I am seeking another more supportive shoe for everyday wear.

We are big pediped fans, but this particular style didn't cut the mustard. Almost a full size bigger than her normal size and materials felt cheap. We love pediped Mary Janes for uniform shoes and were disappointed we won't be able to do summer shoes for our little girl this year using this brand.

Love pediped sneakers for my daughter, but these didn't work. She didn't like style, comfort and it looks like wood chips etc. can easily get in the sides. returned.

Way wider and bigger than expected

Used to love these shoes for my kids, now they are total garbage. As the company grew the quality of their products went way down. This last pair I purchased for my preschooler started smelling terribly after about five weeks of use. I ended up washing them every single day because the stink was becoming unbearable. I couldn't keep the shoes in the house, I would even wrap them in a plastic bag on the drive home from school so they wouldn't stink up the car. We don't have this issue with any other shoe, whether sneaker or sandal, just this brand. Needless to say I am unwilling to spend $55 on a toddler shoe that I have to throw in the trash after barely two months of use. By the way I had a lengthy conversation with Pediped's customer service about this and they don't care one single bit. Not buying this brand ever again, cannot recommend at all.

What has Pediped done to these shoes? My children have owned 11 pairs of Sahara Flex sandals over the past 9 years. They have always been our go to summer shoes. They have been absolutely terrific. Great fit, washable and very durable. So of course I purchased new ones for the spring and both pairs will be returned. The strap is a good inch shorter than last years shoes. This is a huge problem because when the shoes are on the zelcro strap barely reaches the other side to attach. When my son walked around in the kitchen one of the straps kept coming loose. Unfortunately our family is done with Pedipeds.

We also normally love pediped but the ribbon that holds the velcro strap completely disintegrated after about 6 weeks of wear.

We are loyal Pediped Flex customers. The top loop on Sahara (where the velcro strap threads in between) has already come unsewn on right shoe. I checked the left shoe and it's loop too is about to come unsewn as well. We have had this shoe for less than a month. Our daughter is 5 and normal daily use (put on/take off) should not cause this...defective? Love the style and comfort, but gave 1 star as top loops need more re-enforcement and are already having to replace this shoe.
