Gift for my son (age 36)...practically lived in them while he was visiting for 2 weeks. He said they were super comfortable. I liked the length, color and that they always appeared wrinkle-free.

Love the material. It's stretchy like some Arc'teryx hiking pants I have. Perfect length for me (5'11"). Not a huge shorts guy but I find I'm wearing these all the time.

I love these shorts! Bought them for a trip to Kauai and hardly took them off. Stylish, functional, surprising little helpful details (flap over the rear pocket that keeps my wallet in. Slim fit but enough stretch to make hiking a breeze.

First review people so bare with me. I ordered the grey version of these first then this color second. There was a fairly distinct difference in size although I ordered medium in both. The khaki/brown color is smaller by a little bit. They tend to shrink slightly after drying so best to hang dry after washing. The grey color fits perfect. I'm about 5'10", 170lbs with around a 33" waist. Grey mediums fit great but these are a little tight. I do expect them to stretch a little as did the grey ones after wearing a few times. All in all, very comfortable shorts. I recommend highly. Love the built in waist band tightener, no belt needed.

Lightweight material, longer length - purchased for 33 year old husband, they look like they might be designed for teenagers but I still really like them on him. True to size. Nice shorts for a round of golf.

These are great shorts I would give them a 5 star rating in comfort and style. I went back and bought more after my initial purchase.

Best shorts ever. Large is just past my knee (I'm 6'4") and fits great. Nice material, cleans easy, deep pockets and a zippered cargo pocket for valuables. Love 'em!

Love these, bought a second one in tan, they fit great look great and I get compliments on them. I love riding my bike with these because they stretch and are lightweight. Buy them, you will like them.

Just walked 45 miles through Chile in these shorts. Excellent trekking shorts with a small built-in belt that is really useful on those days you can't keep your pants up from pack push or whatever. Really love the relaxed fit. Also, they don't expand and lengthen when taking on rain, which was a godsend where I was hiking. Fits true to size and a bit long in the leg (almost covers the knees), but you can use the belt to hike them up further, if necessary.

Super comfortable, versatile shorts. Used them as walking shorts and swimming trunks. Haven't had them long, but they seem durable.

Love these shorts. Definitely on the expensive side, but quality if you can stick it. Material is comfortable and stretchy. Convenient pockets. Go well on the trail or out around town. Sizes seem to run a little small. I'm a 32 waist size and typically run Medium in everything, so that's what I got as my first pair. They stayed on fine, but were more on the loose side. I traded for Smalls and they fit great. Slightly snug, but not uncomfortably so and I feel the overall fit is better.

These are incredibly comfortable pants. Off the charts comfortable. And extremely versatile. And quick-drying. And tough.

My son is extremely fussy about comfort. He insists on his clothes don't restrict movement. These are keepers.

These shorts are fantastic. I have a size 33" waist and the mediums fit perfectly. They are light and dry easily. The zippered pocket on the bottom right is perfect for holding a wallet or cell phone. A+.

These are the best shorts that I have ever owned. The khaki ones fit so well that I later bought the charcoal. They're pricey, but they're worth it. The stretch fabric is breathable and roomy. Twice, when going through TSA (full body scanner) at the airport, they thought that I had something in my left-thigh cargo pocket. I did not on either occasion. They attributed it to the Velcro.

Love them. They are stretchy and very comfortable. Light weight. I wear them climbing and skateboarding. Not really sure what they are made of though.

Excellent shorts for everyday use as well as hikes and runs. Shorts fit close to the body without flaring at the legs. They have stretch in them for more active use. The width in the thigh area is sizable enough for me. I have a 30 inch waist but thicker legs and other shorts can get bunchy. The waist fits true to size. Not these. Highly recommended.

These are my new favorite shorts. Extremely comfortable and cool. I also like the log inseam.

These are awesome shorts. A tad long but very comfortable and the adjustable waistband is excellent. I will be buying another pair!

These are my new favorite golf short. The are lightweight, cool and since it has belt loops you can wear a belt and they look like golf shorts. I don't know why they do not make long golf shorts but I personally like a short that comes mid-knee or slightly below my knee. I am 6'0" and these are perfect.

Great shorts. They run a little small. The XL fit my husband who has a 36" waist. They were a little loose, but they're adjustable. Nice and long for taller guys.

For shorts lovers everywhere, these are a must buy. I am 'one of those guys' that wears shorts all year round and these are the best shorts I have ever owned. They are perfect for every activity I love to do. They are great for mountain biking, climbing, hiking, and comfortable enough to game or take a nap in. I have one pair and I don t see myself taking them off soon at all.

Just when I thought these shorts could not get any better, Prana redesigned them. The new model only has one cargo pocket, which is great for me. The fit on these shorts are perfect. Not too baggy, not too tight. They allow great freedom of movement and hold up great. I have a few pairs of the previous version that are easily 4 years old and they still look great. I agree with the previous review that said they can be dressed up or down. These are my favorite shorts.

Love these shorts! You can dress them up or down and they look good. Shorts are light weight and roomy, great in hot weather. I find the size to be true to fit and I'm a bigger guy.
