Got this bag to use as a diaper bag for our 7 month old after my husband refused to carry our other one. It's the perfect size (note: I am a minimalist packer). Someone wrote that the pocket in front, near the top was too small for a phone. I disagree, I can fit my Moto G just fine with room to spare.

If you're looking for a small laptop backpack, this is a great model. It's made of strong durable material but is not bulky. There is thin padding to insulate the laptop and has thin padded shoulder straps. Fits small laptop, couple of notepads or books, and a few personal items. At the time of this review, the size comp provided on the website makes it seem larger than it really is. Go by dimensions provided to understand size. It is not stylish, but the logos are subtle and the look is sleeker than most computer backpacks.

Perfect backpack for my 1st grader - moving up from a medium sized pbkids backpack, this one is just as compact but adds a couple offer inches in the top which allows for more large papers and folders without them being squished. My son also really likes the great Patagonia design- no more kid backpacks with designs he says. We will probably use this till 3rd or fourth grade when he may need an adult sized pack- we will see. Happy shopper! And zappos is THE BEST.

I'm a mom of a 4 year old and 2 year old and I love it. I was looking for a smaller bag that would be appropriate for day trips and this one is perfect. I also got the North Face Volt, a Patagonia Kids Refugio, and a Women's NF volt. I returned those bags. The Refugio 15 L was a nice size but not enough pockets. The Volts were uncomfortable to me and a bit bigger than I wanted. This one has multiple pockets to keep organized with all of the stuff that comes along with kids. The bag fits my frame perfectly and is very comfy. I'm 5'6" and 121 lbs. The people who gave it negative reviews for size must not have looked up dimensions. It's perfect for a mom on the go.

I bought this little backpack as a hands-free "mom bag". I've not owned any other Patagonia products but do have several North Face. The quality and craftsmanship of this bag definitely met my standards. It was big enough to pack a picnic in, as well as hold a larger DSLR camera. The other reviewers seem to be looking for true gear - and I can see why this didn't meet their standards. As a mom-bag to take to amusements parks or for a school backpack, I give this 5 stars!

Lightweight and perfect size for my 3rd grader. It easily fits the books, binder, and lunch bag. Chose Patagonia because I'd like this backpack to last this year and the next!

It's a very cute backpack. The colors are true in the picture. I didn't realize how small it was going to be.

Great little backpack. Good pockets and actually fits my macbook air. Sending it back because it is a bit too small for me. I underestimated the amount of stuff I carry around every day and am needing a backpack for a longer trip. Otherwise, this is a perfect minimal and lightweight backpack. I just placed my order for the next size up, the Refugio which is 28L. Even that may not be quite enough for me, I'll report back in once I have it. I love Patagonia bags, they're thoughtful and well made. As always, pleasant, expeditious service from Zappos.

This is a small bag, for sure, but if you're looking for a smaller backpack, it is very good. Things I really like: lots of strap loops for hanging carabiners, etc.; two water bottle pockets; laptop sleeve inside for laptop or isolating some contents; comfortable straps; the chest strap, which I thought I didn't want but now love. The deep outside pocket is good too, but if it had some velcro at the top of it, would be better. Also good: lining is light grey fabric so it's easier to see stuff in the bag. The one thing I'm not so fond of is the *tiny* zip pocket at the outside top. Not even big enough to hold a phone, much less a phablet. I'm lucky to get an id card in there and a charging cord. It would be nice to have a secure and accessible place for a phone. But in general, I like this bag a lot.

I expected a higher quality backpack. It IS Patagonia. I have their finest rainjacket, so I expected the backpack to be of equal quality. It pretty much sucked. CHEAP. Cheap Cheap Cheap. Poor quality material, lack of any real padding in the back makes it lie over all on its own. The straps are thin and poor quality material causing me to think they wouldn't last a week. I need a backpack I can count on for a 2 month daily use hiking in the wilderness. If you put more than a lightweight wind jacket in this, it'd break in no time flat. Patagonia, I'd be embarrassed to put my name on this! You can do better. Flush this one quick!!

The other reviewers were right - I should have listened. Cheaply made, nowhere near the quality of previous Patagonia products. And there is no ventilation for back and shoulders so you will sweat with this on. I ended up with the Northface PInyon (black w/ bright orange piping). Looks much nicer, similar size & built for women's torsos. Also has smarter compartmentalization.

Awful design. This barely fits anything, is made of cheap nylon and has a very nonfunctional 3rd compartment. The zipper barely opens enough for one to put anything in the bag.

So sad! Patagonia has slid downhill. Their packs were always the envy: great pockets for all kinds of good stuff (pencils and school supplies during the school year and compass, assorted rocks and sunscreen in the summer). Even a nice soft pocket for sunglasses or little iPod but alas, all of this is gone this year - gone is the Poco Mucho 20L and in its place this sad excuse for a backpack. We lost our Poco Mucho this summer due to a babysitting mishap and this cannot just not replace. Please Patagonia, go back to your roots!
