The description of this item on-line is severely lacking. It's a well-built bag yet not very practical. Not storage for stationary etc, the side pockets don't fit a water bottle, they are both made for wet umbrellas. returned this item.

I am very pleased with this bag. The construction is superb. Strong and comfortable, with lots of organizational pockets. The three separate zippered sections keep jackets, laptops, and smaller items separated and easy to get to. The styling is also fantastic. it's modern, minimalist style does not mean you have to give up on features. It has pockets that accommodate umbrella and water bottle on the outside, but as they are elastic, they don't stick out awkwardly when not in use. Two straps on the sides let you cinch it down if it's not super full, keeping it from being too big. The laptop section is padded on all sides, and can easily accommodate most laptop sizes (i'd say even 17" models). I can easily fit my 15" laptop plus an iPad with room to spare. Highly recommend.
