I saw these boots and read a review previous to buying. And were they right: 1. The color was stunning 2. The fit and style: elegant and well made 3. The insole was soft and snug....plus I had a sole guard put on to keep from slipping and wear to the leather. These are comparable to more expensive brands, but more comfortable and luxurious.....and at a third of the price. I can dress it up or wear them with jeans too...great ankle support too! I've bought more pairs from this brand and kudos to Zappos for Enabling Me in my Shoe Addiction!

I have to say I'm quite startled at the fact that there are zero reviews for these AMAZING, beautiful, snug boots. First of, I admit I was a bit reluctant because I had never heard of the brand and because no reviewes whatsoever, hence my review, I want those considering these shoes to feel secure, know that they are making one of the best purchases in their life. Quality of the boot is prestine, leather is genuine and actually lighter than pictures here, almost a hazelnut. Soon as I opened the box, a pungent yet plesant smell of leather brushed my nose, very beautiful. The sole is very sturdy, not too thick nor thin, many brogue boots out there have a very contemporary sole (rubber, treaded, plastic), these still keep the classy wooden/leather bottom with a couple of shoe nails. Finally, the insole is beyond describable, it's as if it came with reinstalled Dr. Martin gel insoles, upmost comfort and plenty of room for your toes. Overall, one of the best boots I've seen, up par with Allen Edmonds imo, and very affordable.

My favorite pair from this brand so far. The leather is soft and breaks in very quickly. The wrinkles gives the shoes more character and looks quite nice on the black. When laced loosely, the movement is free and unrestrictive. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear all day long.

I love the style, the feel, the smell, the compliments, and the fact these were made in Italy. When I saw these boots online I fell in love immediately. I was worried that maybe the boots would look different in person and not fit properly, but they look even better face to face and feel real good on my feet. I am usually a Clarks fan but now I have another brand I will add to my dapper needs. Kudos to Zappos for their excellent services; I believe I have been shopping through Zappos for more than 10 years and never been let down.

This a beautiful, sophisticated boot. It can be dressed up or down with slacks or my personal favorite, slim jeans rolled to the top of the boot. I must say, though, the color is closer to burgundy than to dark brown. The only down side I have is the laces constantly loosen from the three top eyelets, which is annoying as hell. Thinking about buying the black and lighter brown, too.

The color is significantly of a lighter shade than in the pictures. Just fyi. Still a great shoe. Goes with everything

These boots are spectacular in both style and craftsmanship. Leather outer, inner, and sole. The soles are completely smooth when new so they squeak a little on tile and similar floor surfaces but will quiet down with some regular wear. Felt a little smaller than a size 14 should but they're starting to stretch out with moderate wear. Great purchase!

It's been two years and these boots are still going. They are my primary shoe months out of the year and they've made it longer than most of the boots I've owned before. You'll need to have non-slip sole put on by a shoe place right out of the box, but it's still worth it. Get compliments on them all the time.

Love these boots. I went down half a size and they fit perfectly. I bought the black ones for work and they are very polished looking.

Really a beautiful shoe. It definitely ran a half size too big though. I'll reorder a smaller size and hope it's good because I like this shoe a lot. Super stylish.

I wanted a hard, smooth leather sole for dancing, plus I wanted to look good too. I found it (finally) in this boot. Worked great at a large dance this last weekend. I needed the ankle support that this boot provides. I did, however, darkened the toe and heel portion on my tan colored boot with brown shoe polish to give it that "saddleshoe" look. And it looks fantastic! Looking to do a lot of dancing in these. Sorry I couldn't include a photo. You'd be amazed at how it transformed.

I love this boot! I have it in the brandy color. looking forward to buying it in the green color when Zappos get it back. The delivery went well received them the next day. and the fit is on point.

Fell in love with these boots on first finding them at Zappos. Placed order, received 2 days later, fit was great. Still in love! I receive compliments on them everytime I wear. (They are different!) I usually wear 9.5/B . Ordered these in size 9/M for a perfect fit.

Hello everyone, this is my first item that I have purchased from Zappos, and I must say that I am very pleased with the out come. The color is right on, the boot feels and fit great, and the delivery was even early. I talked with customer service, very helpful.

Very comfortable boot. Good quality leather with the smell right out of the box. I have not had any trouble walking longer distances in these boots. Received many compliments on the color, Bordo.

Truly beautiful boots, and I'm so, so sad they don't fit me. I've been searching for a good pair of size 14 boots that look fantastic, and I thought these were surely it. Unfortunately, they're a little narrow and pinch the little toe on my (slightly larger) left foot. That's normally only a problem for me when I try to squeeze into 13s; this is the first time a size 14 has caused me any problem. However, don't hesitate to try these out. The coloration on the Bordo is beautiful - a deep hazelnut, as the other reviewer described it. And it's pretty charming to have a nailed-on, wooden sole, although I was a little concerned that I might miss the complete lack of traction. Unfortunately, I will never know now.

These boots are nice. They fit true to size and feel great. A very good buy. The only divination was the green was not as deep a color as pictured throughout the whole boot.

READ THIS. The color in the photo (cognac) is beautiful but NOT what you're going to get. These boots look amazing in the picture, but they are not cognac nor have a nice sheen. Instead, they are a bad combo of yellow/green/brown...and they're also pale. I was hoping to wear these with a suit. No way. The sole isn't leather either and overall, shoe seems cheap. For 200 bones, you can do much better. Returning ASAP.
