I had a different style Teva sandals in 2008 when I was about to travel about the country. So, when my wife and I were planning a trip to the Northern California area I knew I had to have a pair for our adventure. They are very comfortable for the most part and possibly the slight chaffing velcro straight will break in, as I have only worn them for a few weeks. Very good tread. Overall I love them and will definitely be getting more when these wear out. The one's from '08 lasted me at least 2-3 years of warm weather use.

I have a black pair, but would like another with some orange or lime coloring, of labels or highlights. Why all this grey, you've had nothing new for over 3 years

The grooves cut in the insole area take some getting used to and it seams a little narrow in the arch area compared to the other Terra Fi's I have owned. Toe and heel width is fine. I usually wear a 3E and Teva shoes and sandals as a rule fit very well.

I wear my Tevas everywhere! Around town, walks around the lake, camping and even to the grocery store. They really do fit in everywhere.

Very comfortable after a few days - feet had to get used to new strap placement. Did not realize how wore out my old sandals were! I really do miss the tab on the top heel strap as found on my old sandals. It made it much easier to grab and pull on the sandal.
All in all, comfortable, well built but pricey.

WISH IT CAME IN NARROW WIDTHS, OTHERWISE A FINE REPLACEMENT FOR MY OLDER ONES.

When you put a Teva sandal on you know it is well crafted, durable, optimal fit and style. I've only worn them a few times but I'll have to get used to the thicker sole that I chose versus the thinner more flexible one (due to wanting more durability for where I wear them). This is another item in life where I wished they still offered the "Scorpion" sandals which contoured to your feet better and had a little more flexibility to the sole. Still a very good sandal and happy...but miss my Scorpions!

I'm a woman; I buy the men's Terra Fi, because the "trendy" ones for women are too flimsy and caused bilateral knee damage (foot pad too shallow, not enough support anymore (I've been buying Teva for many years and 'trend' seems to outweigh good function). No matter how tight I made the straps, my heels slipped sideways constantly, and now I'm paying for physical therapy. The men's are not 'trendy,' because they are heavy duty, and the women's has narrower straps, more attractive, but hey! whatever works. A Teva rep told me they now make more "trendy" looking sandals. We're not all 25 and weigh 120. "Trendy" sells but they're nowhere near as sturdy and supportive as they used to be...for the same price or more!

I'm a long-time Teva wearer. I just bought these sandals so don't know the long-term durability, but so far I'm quite happy with them.

Too narrow at front straps. Narrower than other four pair I have at this time.

The terra fi4 is heavier duty progression from the previous 3 version. More expensive. We'll see how they hold up compared to terra fi3's I've owned before.

I use these for wading in streams & rivers when I fly fish. I don't wear waders & these work perfectly. Great grip on the soles & very comfortable and durable.

I have numerous pairs of Teva Terra FI sandals in my basement from over the years. On the positive side the Terra FI 4's seem to have the best cushion of any of the Teva's I have owned. The heel area felt great immediately.
I have wider feet and unlike previous Teva's these cut into the outside of the ball of my foot. I even ordered up a half a size and that did not seem to help.
If you have narrow to average width feet I would definitely give these a try. If you have even slightly wide feet, based on my experience, these are not the sandals for you.

These sandals are very heavy, and the arch support didn't fit right for my feet.

Footbed was very cushy and felt good but there was way too much arch support for my foot. Great looking sandal that will work for those that need a lot of arch.

These are my husbands shoes they look really nice fit well and are comfortable. The only issue is that he wore them on the beach and some where the sand collected and he had to shake each one out for a good 5 minutes each. He couldn't even figure out where the sand was stored it just kept coming.
