This is my second pair, I bought a brown pair a few years ago and love them so I bought myself a pair in black. I have a wide foot, so had to buy a half size larger.

I have always had a difficult time with boots and these are fantastic. The calf fits perfectly. I have worn these all day at work and then out shopping for hours and was perfectly comfy! Buying a pair in black next!

Loved the boot. Beautiful style and good quality. Unfortunately this boot fits more like a size 12 than 13.

I’m very happy with these boots. I bought them a half size larger since I wanted to wear them with heavier socks. That works well for me.

I love Sam Edelman shoes. One they come in an 11.5 which is extremely rare. The wide calf is perfect. I can easily zip with skinny jeans on. They also come in regular widths. Just because a person has larger calves does not mean they have wide feet. Plus they are stylish and can dress up or down.

I am obsessed with these boots! I was slow to pull the trigger, but I'm so glad I did. For reference, I'm 5'5" and 170 pounds. I have muscular calves and do not always need wide calf boots as some regular fit me just fine. I read a bunch of reviews about the regular Penny boot, some of which said they stretched, so I gave them a try. I could barely zip them. I did though, in hopes they would stretch, but they didn't. So, they wen back to Zappos and I went for the wides. I am so glad I did. They fit great. They're a beautiful boot. I don't have any bagginess or slouching around my ankles (which is often the case for me with wide calf boots). They are wide at the top and stick out, but I personally like that look as I find it to be very slimming. Many reviews said that the boot runs narrow, but I don't agree, I think it's a very average width. I did size up half a size because I like to add some warm socks under my boots (I live in NY) and the extra half size accomodates that perfectly. You cannot go wrong with these boots! I already want to get them in a second color!

I have a difficult time finding knee high boots with a calf circumference wide enough to fit jeans into them. These are perfect.

These are beautiful comfortable boots. I ordered the wide calf but the boot shaft was way too big, a problem I never have. Sadly they had to go back.

I am back for a 2nd pair! I bought these several years ago and they still look great - just a little worn on the sole so I am stocking up for when they are officially retired. I wear them with pants and skirts/dresses.

Love these boots! I usually wear size 11 but opted for 11.5 with this boot because it was more comfortable. The shaft is quite roomy and easily accommodates skinny jeans or leggings. I'm 5'10" and the shaft height is perfect. They look great.

Per other reviews I ordered a wide width, and they fit perfect. I love these boots! very comfortable and stylish.
