These are my second pair of black Sam Edelman Penny boots. The other pair were at least six years old and I wore them out. I also have the brown. I alternate wearing these every day in cool/cold weather. These boots are the most comfortable shoes I own. As an elementary teacher, I am on my feet a lot. These boots give me the comfort and support I need. My feet nor back ever hurt when I wear these.

SO glad I read the reviews and ordered up on both size and width. They do run very narrow! I have a wide foot, and the "wide" size fits like a "regular" on me. That being said, they are super comfortable beautiful boots. I have plenty of room around my calf (I'm 16.5" at the widest point) and they don't look "sloppy" or out of proportion. I plan on mainly wearing them over jeans or thicker tights/leggings for winter. I may need to add an insert for my arch as they don't really have support there. But for a pair of tall boots that go over my calves and don't look like pirate boots? PRICELESS.

(Wide calf review) FINALLY!! I have been trying to find knee length boots that I can actually get on my feet for 5 years. Every year I order a few pairs and every year I have to return them as they don’t fit. I have the double whammy of very high arches and wide claves (16inch). These boots fit!!! The zip going all the way down the back means I can just slip my foot into the shoe bed, and then with the wide calf option I can actually zip them up! They are just what I wanted style wise, very simple with a low heel and not too many little fussy details. I really like the push button closure at the top of the zip, which helps you feel secure and that they won’t come undone. I’m SUPER happy with these and would recommend.

This boot is beautiful however not for wide feet very narrow I tried to wear them around my house, but it was not comfortable and I had to return

Fit and size are excellent. I have two pair of Sam Edelman boots and they are top quality. I highly recommend them.

Fit is great. The wide calf allows for the boot to fit a little bit away from the leg at the calf. I like that look. Would also allow room for a cute sock to peek out from the top too.

Third pair of these for me I absolutely love this boot! Comfortable for all day work wear. I have worn out two other pair due to I wear them all winter long. I receive so many compliments when I wear them and I dress up for work or wear with jeans and a sweater on the weekends! AmazIng boots and I go 1/2 size up in foot size on the wide calf as I wear thicker socks in the winter. Well Worth the money and I have been buying these for the last several years and just wear the heels out but I stand all day and walk all over all day long.

Hard to find good fitting boots. I absolutely love these and they look amazing!
