The leather upper is the thinnest leather I have ever felt. Returning.

Snap at the back was on a plasticky strap that covered zipper head. Snap kept popping off. Previous pair had same problem so back they go.

I love these boots and have been ordering the same size for years. When I compared these to my previous pair (sole to sole) they're about 1/2 shorter. Bummer. Good looking boot, but not a 9 1/2.

The Whiskey color shown in the photo is a lot lighter and lacking any character in person, causing the leather to look cheap and very generic. Even on sale, this boot is a “no go” for me. It looks like it was sold at Payless. Also, the 6.5 size was very small for me.

I wanted these to work so badly. I have small feel and ankles but muscular calves. I knew I was taking a risk getting normal (not wide) calf boots, but wide calf boots are always sloppily big in the foot and ankle area. These had the elastic godet all the way down to the foot (which wide calf boots rarely do by some baffling deficiency in logic) so I was hoping they would stretch to fit. Nope. These boots are forgiving, but still very much for normal to slender legs. If you’re a muscular calf’ed baddie, the shaft of these will just say “no.” Not really the boots fault, but I really, REALLY wish Kennth Cole offered these in a wide calf. The leather is beautiful and supple and the brown color is perfect. The heel is just the right height. The toe is sophisticatedly pointed. And the sweater panel would make them super comfortable if they had more inclusive sizing. I have genuine leather boot money, will someone take it and make a boot that fits?????

So disappointed. The leather looked very low quality. The shaft was actually a different color than the foot and felt stiff and plastic-like. The biggest disappointment was the "wide calf". When I went to zip it over my calves which are 15.5", i had a good inch to inch and a half that wouldn't meet. These boots are no where near a 17" circumference as mentioned in the description. I'll be returning right away.

Heel was too wide and toe too narrow. The calf was much wider than I expected. They are very good looking though.

Horrible quality and color of material! When I pulled back the paper wrapping I could already see scuffs in the leather from when it was packaged. These look like cheap vinyl boots that are 1/3 of the price.

I would not recommend these boots. For one they did not look like real leather to me. Very thin, easy to slouch, leather. However, the thing I didn't like the most was that it wasn't fitted around the ankle area. It was sort of oversized and baggy throughout even. Apparently my 15'' calves warrant the need to order "wide calf boots." These boots allegedly measure at 17" around the calf but they fit rather snug around my calves, but then baggy mid calf to the ankles. I am looking for a nice smooth well crafted riding boot and these just didn't have that look. Also the overall design and style just came across cheap and juvenile.

When these say wide calf they aren't kidding. I've had other wide calf boots that fit great. These are super wide. They also have a normal toe box but run super wide in the heel. They could be cute boots for the right person, just not for me.

This boot is definitely not a wide width. It is narrower then some of the medium shoes I have. Take note if you need a wider toe box.

I have muscular calf’s so sometimes need a wide calf boot, unfortunately they were far too wide. Will return and try a normal size.

Wearing a women's size 12, I have challenges finding shoes that fit. For the first time, my problem was not that the shoe was too small!!! The toe box fit extremely well. The problem was the heel.... There was way too much space back there. My husband recommended I get a insert, but even that didn't work.... I have been looking for a pair of tall black boots for several years. I am very disappointed that I am still looking. Other than that, the boot was a good quality and fit nicely around my calf.

I'm desperate to replace my black Trotter boots that I've worn for two years. They've changed the style and I was hoping this would do the trick. But for some reason, boot makers believe that to accommodate slightly thicker thighs they must expand multiple inches from ankle to thigh. For someone short like me, that looks ridiculous. This boot has no adjustments to rein in the extremely generous shaft. I think the fact that it zips down the back might make this fact more exaggerated than if it zipped on the side.

Overall, I am disappointed in the this order and will be trying the regular calf in a different color of this style instead. I usually struggle to find a good boot because I am between a wide calf and a regular calf boot. In reading the overview about the wide calf dimensions, I thought the upper portion would be wide enough to not be overly tight but not gap. I knew that there was a chance that as you sized up the circumference would also increase, but I did not think it would be that significant of a change. However, when I tried them on there was at least a half of an inch gap between the boot and my calf while wearing the thickest pair of pants I own. Secondly, I had ordered the whiskey color, and in my opinion, the color varied significantly from the picture. It was much brighter and much more tan and less red-brown than I was expecting based on the stock photos.

These boots are really a disappointment. The quality of the leather is terrible (cheap and thin), the color was completely off (they were dull and not vintage like the photo showed), the "wide" calf had me swimming (really wide) and being a "wide" shoe didn't feel wide at all. There is no arch support and they felt narrow in the toe. Not a recommended buy.

Loved the look of the boots but they were not as wide as I would normally expect. Felt the size was more narrower and smaller than what I usually ordered.

Had to return these - waaaay narrow! So sad because they were cute, o well....

Boot looked great out of box, leather very soft. I had ordered the wide shaft a half size up because others said they were narrow. I could barely get them zipped around my 16.5” calves. Maybe would have kept anyway hoping they would stretch, but my feet felt like duck feet. The width was great, but the length was WAY big, like 2” too long. Also, I am 5’ tall & they cut into the bend of backs of knees very badly.

Calf is extremely wide on these leaving a huge gap between leg and boot material. It is a big difference between the wide calf and the regular, yet you have to order a wide width in order to have a normal fit across the sole. Overall these are just an odd fit and after attempting two different sizes/widths/calf combinations, these are a big miss. Bummer to lose my rewards dollars on these.

I was so excited when I found theses boots, as they look just like my favorite (discontinued!) wide calf boots from Franco Sarto. While these boots fit in both the foot (I’m a 7-7.5 and got these in a 7.5) and calf, the bottom of the boot where my heel meets the zipper gives me bad blisters. I’m hoping that they just need to be broken in a bit more.

I usually do not write reviews, but decided to on this boot. I was shocked at how homely this boot was when I opened the box, based on other reviews and pictures I was expecting a gorgeous boot. The color is nothing like shown in picture, and leather is nowhere near the quality I expected. It actually smells and feels of plastic. Boot is extremely narrow and I ordered a wide after reading reviews. Save your $ people.
