I have worn this new, [purchased as a gift in December-I still have the label and the bar code as proof] S.L. Beta jacket only twice on walks in the rain. On both occasions, I came home with my inner clothing soaked -through a fleecy right through to my T-shirt. There was wetness inside the whole jacket ,but in particular, beads of water all around the top of the sleeves. At all times, the jacket was done up to the neck and the hood up. I have owned Arcteryx products for many years and have never been anything but satisfied, but this jacket has been extremely disappointing and does not live up to the claim that it is "waterproof and highly breathable." I would not recommend this jacket.

Purchased this jacket not even 2 months ago. Wore it out hiking in the rain. Was wearing the atom jacket under. My phone was in the zipper pocket. Jacket was fully zipped up, hood on. I never once unzipped the jacket or the pockets. Got back tot he car after an hour and my phone was sitting in water in the pocket - phoned ruined. Took the jacket off and my atom jacket under was wet and the entire inside of the beta jacket was wet. I do NOT recommend this jacket. I have many other arcteryx jackets that have been great. This one was disappointing.

I have purchase one Arc'teryx Beta SL Jacket - Men's,I am fans of arcteryx,so I am very excited by the clothing . I think it is waterproof ,so when it rains lastnight,this is my second duess from get it. I dressed it for 40 minutes walking. But I found its waterproof can't work. It's just only a light rain, so I am very very very disappointed to the clothing ,and to your websit!

Jacket feels well constructed and is of good fit, but is severly let down by lack of breathability. Inner linking looks like garbage bag and thus cheap looking. I don't think the price can be justified against the quality of this jacket which was bought online.
