Lovely gown, but more Frederick’s of Hollywood than Hanro. I have the exact same gown in black and the fabric is thicker. In white, it is virtually see-through and not as thick or high-quality as the black one. Order the black one. It looks great and you don’t feel like you’re in a Frederick’s catalog.

This is my favorite nightgown. I have 4. The size is true. I wash, shake the wrinkles out and hang to dry. This gown replaced my Eileen Fisher gowns that tore after about two years of wear. The cotton is very fine gauge and soft. I have had my gowns for over 2 years and all look new. I prefer that the fabric is thin (I have read other reviewers complain about how thin) for wear all year round. It wears well for hot flashes. I wear a robe if I want to walk around the house in this gown.

Just as described this nightgown fulfills the expectation of fine design, material and workmanship expected from Hanro.

Very soft and comfortable, washes beautifully. It has a little pocket on side by strap that is unnecessary.

Very soft cotton as expected for Hanro. Generously sized-had to return my normal size for one size smaller. Washes well and comfortable even after many washes. Fabric is thin so not for the modest.

I returned this item because it was very thin fabric.

Love love love this. Only wish more colors were available. The white is too sheer. The pale pink is lovely. The black most practical. Maybe midnight navy? Grey? Light blue or ocean?

Have two of these in black so cannot comment about transparency of other color options. The black is very well-made and while the fabric is thin and light, it is not flimsy. Arm openings and neck are bound with matching black woven fabric which prevents the nightgown from stretching out with wear. Super comfortable and elegant too! I wash in cold water and hang to dry. These gowns last for many years with proper care. Gave 4 stars overall because it is sooooo pricy but worth the investment.

I've purchased Hanro products before and they've been great. Not this however. It was very large, I took a medium, and after sleeping in it one night it looked dreadful, stretched out, loose, badly wrinkled.

Unfortunately, this gown did not work for me.
