This is one of my favourite pieces of gear because of how light and packable it is. I wear it all the time as a light wind shell while climbing, belaying, mountain biking, and around town. Because of how small and light it is, there's no reason not to bring it with you all the time!

The Squamish is my go to. Everyday I ski tour I am in this jacket. Touring gets your heart pumping and you heat up so fast, even in the coolest temps I always end up in a base layer and this jacket. It is the best jacket for touring. When the seasons start to change, I use it for biking and running. Then summer comes, is it always on my harness when climbing muti-pitch routes. It is versatile and comfortable and best of all lightweight. I gifted this jacket to a good friend who owns a ranch and she tells me it is also perfect for riding horses!! I hope they never stop making this jacket!!!

I've had my Squamish for a couple months now, and it has been one of the best jackets I've ever own. As someone who lives in Central Coast of California, this piece is perfect for breezy sunny days. It is not meant to insulate but will protect you from wind and from the sun. I like to use it a chill around town or as an active piece when cycling or climbing. I have yet to see any tears or damage from rubbing it against the rock. It fits well under a hydration vest or a harness and overall feels nice on bare skin. Not constrictive over other clothing, like long sleeves. My favorite part is that it stuffs into its own pocket.

The Squamish men's hoody is a must have for the outdoors enthusiast. The fit is well proportioned with a slim but not tight feel, and the fabric is a lovely mix of slight stretch, resilience, and softness next-to-skin. The Tyono 30 fabric is not heavy and has no irritation after all day wear, with a technical or just cotton tshirt as a first layer. The scuba-ish hood with no cavernous interior is just right - ideal fit and a nice formable brim. Cuffs are perfect and hem is right where you like it. No hand pockets but who cares; this is not a late fall/early spring shell.
Would not be without this Squamish during the summer. Essential!

Owned this for a few years now. Use it for ski touring while on the skin track, mountain biking, hiking, and just riding my bike around the city. I find it keeps me quite comfortable in the way that it is quite breathable and I don't overheat in it, but I stay warm when the wind is blowing as well.

I just bought this on a whim as a lightweight wind jacket for running. LOVE it! It fits great. I can see myself wearing this on walks, hikes, etc. It's very smooth and doesn't make any noise (a prerequisite in my books!). I do wish it had hand pockets, but I understand the weight that it would add would be defeatist. The chest pocket could be a little longer on the women's jacket to accommodate my phone better. That's my only (minor) gripe and it's not a deabreaker. This light little jacket will be with me for quite some time!

I owned the previous version of this jacket and I loved it so I decided to purchase this jacket and I have to say I wasn't disappointed! This jacket is amazing in fact I'm sad to see the weather turn and I'm already looking forward to wearing it in the spring. It's my running, fishing and everything else jacket. Do yourself a favor and get this jacket. It fits great and everything about this jacket is perfect. I purchased both a large for running and an Extra Large for fishing (more layers)

You won't be disappointed with this purchase - especially if you live on the coast! The Squamish Hoody is perfect for fall multi-pitches, hiking or simply commuting to work! I love the protection it provides even though its so light! I've worn this jacket in a rain storm and still stayed dry!

I have this in Hyperspace, Labrynth and Exosphere. Its the perfect layer to take the chill off from A/C or as a wind breaker on a summit and everything in between. Its the perfect jacket and surprisingly warm despite how thin it is. The only improvement would be to make the front pocket large enough for today's smartphones. Its just slightly too small for the Galaxy S10+ 5G with a very narrow bezel case. Makes it difficult to quickly access for photos or phone calls. Im always cold and I practically live in this jacket from spring to fall.

Very good wind jacket for summer. Extremely lightweight, but impressed with how well this jacket actually perform. Nice slim fit as well.
Used it for summer skiing on a glacier and it cut the wind perfect. Mostly used it for hiking and mountain biking.
Have tested this jacket in rain. Went for a hour long walk in light rain with this jacket, and it kept me dry. However in more heavy rain this jacket will not hold up.

I use the Squamish for almost everything. It does have a place in my pack daily in spring and fall in Chicago as well as wherever I travel. Packs super nice in its own chest pocket and I got it 2 years ago.
It cust back a lot of drifts and wind gusts very well. Sometimes, I ice climbing with a medium weight middle layer and this shell does excellent work managing my body heat. I love the DWR coating also.

Loving it so much! I almost always have it clipped on my harness when I climb on the rock. So small and light, I don't even notice it's there when I'm climbing, yet it gives me enough protection when it gets little chilly or windy. I sometimes wonder how strong the clip loop is when I'm going through chimney etc, but so far it survived full season of climbing, and no holes on the fabric either. Highly recommend it!

It's simply a very versatile wind shell. It doesn't stop all wind, feels like 25% makes it through, which helps you stay dry. I use it for everything I do and its always almost in my pack. For being an ultralight windshell, it is surprisingly durable. Any punctures or tears are very easily repaired with tenacious tape ripstop. My biggest issue with it is that it likes to untuck from my climbing harness and the elastic hem cord gets stuck in carabiners on my most used gear loop (front right).

This jacket gets the most use. I own two colors. I use it for just about everything. At 7100 ft elevation the weather is somewhat unpredictable, I carry this with me almost everyday. The fit runs large (regular fit) so I chose a medium. 6'2" 185lbs. Zippers are very robust and easy to use (pet peeve).

Kjempegod jakke. Funker veldig bra til alle harde aktiviteter. Varmen slipper ut og vinden slipper ikke inn.

I'm one of those people who, if they're moving they're almost always warm and over-heating more often than they'd like. Because of that I wanted something that helps me shed heat while keeping the wind out when I stop moving. The Squamish is better at that than anything else I've worn!
First, it's really light - as others have said, it's easy to forget you're wearing it. It's so light that with my Trail Blaze (orange) one, you can see the clout of darker T-shirts through it, even my medium green one. That might be enough to make you re-think your colour choice but not the jacket!
Secondly it packs small - it packs into its own chest pocket with plenty of space (I think you could potentially get a second in there). Packed, the pocket is about 6" x 6" but you can squash it to about 2 tennis balls.
This lives permanently in my backpack now., just in case!

Excellent jacket! I use this when my Beta AR would be overkill. This is great for shorter hikes when weather looks to be good. It's always great to have as an emergency layer for an unexpected storm or when the wind picks up. Very glad to have this, and it packs down so small you can take it anywhere.

This jacket is great. I always struggled with summer days where the morning is still chilly. Taking a jacket could be such a burden. This is ideal on my commute or on hikes as you can get your body temperature up, and then just throw it in your bag. So light that you won't notice it.
For me, it has a perfect balance between breathability and wind breaking abilities. I tend to heat up quickly, and this jacket doesn't suffocate. A true must-have.
