I ordered a size 40 and the box said size 40 but the clogs inside the box were a size 41. i called the zappos number and was assisted very efficiently and the shoes should be picked up for return thru UPS today. Unfortuntaly there was not another pair available in my size and choice of color.

The clogs were a bit wide for my feet even with heavy socks. I wore them for an afternoon and was surprised that my feet continued to hurt for two days.

First of all, these "black tooled" shoes are not black. They are black and gray, and I don't know how anyone could ever polish them without getting black polish in the gray grooves. That being said, I was surprised when these shoes came in 1/4 inch shorter than my previous Danskos of the same size. They were too short, and I had to return them as my toe hit the inside of the toebox. I ended up getting a similar pair at a local shoe store, where I learned that there are size discrepancies in Dansko clogs depending on where they are made. ( China or Mexico) The new 39s from China that I purchased locally fit me fine and are the exact same length as the pair I got last year. Unless I can determine beforehand where the clogs are made, I don't see how I can order these shoes online anymore.

I will agree with some of the other reviewers...the quality of this clog has DEFINITELY gone downhill. Despite wearing the same size for 20 years, I have to order multiple shoes OF THE SAME SIZE in order to find the correct one (and they’re all the same size, just not fitting the same). The quality is lacking. Dansko have always been my standby...I wear them ALL the time at work. There are times I pull 7 or 8 24-hour shifts in a row, and when the clog is right, my back knows it. They used to last forever, but now they start breaking down more quickly. It’d be refreshing for this feedback to reach Dansko, as it’s repeatedly commented on by these reviewers, and have them DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Until they do, I’ll look elsewhere...I’ve grown weary of running back and forth to the UPS store to return shoes that should fit, but don’t.

I wore Dansko's about 20 years ago and loved them . . . until they switched up production venues and the shoes no longer fit. I went to Sanita for clogs, and I'm not thrilled about how long they last, but whatever, they fit. So when my latest pair fell apart and the sole disintegrated, I thought I'd try Dansko's again just to make sure. I still find that the volume of the shoe is small -- it fits front to back, but the space between the sole and top of my foot is really cramped making it impossible to even go up/down in size. So I guess if you have a "high volume" foot (as they say in hockey skate parlance) these are not for you!

What is going on with Dansko? I reordered the same size and style as my previous order in 2018 and what I received is way too large and so wide open in the back, I step right out of them. This is a completely different fit from before and they are unwearable. PS: I tried a smaller size and still stepped right out of them too. I have been wearing Danskos forever as my go-to shoe and now I can't wear them.

This is my third pair of Dansko non-slip clogs. I had to send the first pair back as they were too big (my other 2 pair are size 39). The size 38 fit ok but they were very slippery on our restaurant floor. By the end of the night my feet were throbbing, back aching and hips burning. I have NEVER experienced this with either of my previous clogs (I own one pair of XP20 and one regular)I'm sending them back and ordered another pair of the XP20 for more arch support. I'm still a huge fan of your clogs and was excited about the tan pair for spring/summer) Too bad the XP20 doesn't come in the lighter colors.

New sizing for Dansko. These are a lot bigger than my other ones this size.

Too big , did not feel like my past Dansko Professional shoes I have. Disappointing.

I have been a loyal Sanita customer for 15 years, but they were out of stock of my usual size so I decided to try Dansko's now that they have narrow size. Very disappointed. Their 40N (same size as I wear in Sanita) were way too roomy. That is definitely not my definition of narrow sizing. Feeling very frustrated that what has worked well for me for so long is proving very difficult to replace.

I wear a size 14, but when it comes to clogs I always have to go a size up. I ordered these shoes hoping that they were going to be a great fit after reading the reviews. WRONG! When the box arrived it was a lot smaller that what I expected and so were the shoes. They were supposed to be a size 48 or 14.5 - 15. They were more like a size 13

smaller than before. I first bought danskos when i injured my knee & ended up with a laundry list of problems... the doc. recommended dansko and other shoes. they didn't look pretty back in 1999, but i bought a pair in black that just almost barely pressed my toe too far front... Were comfortable, wore them at the warehouse at work, and on the dune cleaning up property. couldn't wait to kill them (oog-lah) but lasted me till 2020! 21 years!! Was excited to get rid of them completely worn out. These new danskos seem smaller, hard to get in, no room for my toes, can't walk in them... perhaps need the next size up... not a fan of all the chinese-y patterns dansko is using... (how am i supposed to wear my animal print pants, or my floral skir with some of those ooglah patterned shoes? no where near my taste... (Anyway, another reviewer recommended Sanita, and I got a pair of those that I couldn't take off for 2 days... very comfortable, gorgeous styles, colors, I cannot believe I'm actually going to be wearing ANOTHER pair of clogs for the next 20 years of my life...glad I found the Sanitas, sorry dansko aint' what it used to be)...thanks for the memories!!

I have been wearing size 40 danskos for 20 years, I have not ordered any from zappos, but it was pretty odd that they were so BIG it seems like after I packaged them etc for return it was all a waste of time, especially since I ordered a pair of HOKAs and it took forever to even get them, I'm very disappointed.

Left shoe felt like a wide when I ordered medium. I ordered two of the same style, size and color, and both pair the left shoe was much wider. I ordered two pair directly from Dansko and they both fit fine. Never had any problems with ordering Dansko clogs from Zappos but sadly I had to return them.

Dansko has changed the width of their narrow shoes, such that they feel like regular width shoes. Therefore, I'm "up a creek without a paddle" because these were my go-to shoes, especially for work.

I have worn Dansko Professional size 38 for years. I currently have 2 pairs in other colors in my closet that fit perfectly. This particular shoe fits a lot larger than my other Pros. I ordered another 38 to check, and it was the same. I also ordered a 37, and it was too small. The sizing seems to have changed. I'm returning all. Disappointed!

These were clearly previously worn with scuff marks on both fronts of shoes

The same shoe is now wider than it used to be….I’m so sad. I have now ordered 2 narrow pairs and neither fit like my old ones, the exact same size 37n.

I have been buying danskos clogs for over 15 years. Wear them every single day as my job has me standing most of the day. I bought a pair and noticed they were a little different and I thought maybe I got a pair that was made weird. They literally looked worn out after one month. And they felt weird. Then I went and bought another pair ….same thing happened. They were extremely uncomfortable and there was some thing weird about the foot bed that was not comfortable at all in fact the tops of my toes had blisters. Of course I justified and thought well maybe I got another fluke pair. Well…. I now have three pairs of danskos that I cannot wear. Went and found a couple of articles talking about how now the Dansko‘s are manufactured in another country and the quality is not the same. 1000% agree with this. I have bought so many shoes looking for the same comfort and support that Dansko provided and I cannot find anything. It was something about that clog shape and whatever insole they used for shock absorption. anyway I’m very sad to know that the product has completely changed and the shoes that I once loved is no longer being made. Save your money. I’m still looking for a supportive shock absorbing shoe that is not flat or a sneaker .

I’ve been wearing Dansko clogs for years. The size delivered to me today Is ok. The box and shoes are marked narrow, however, the shoes are too wide. Very disappointing. Dansk’s shoes run much wider than before. When the clogs came in a blue box, they were true to size. Now coming in grey and white boxes, Dansko’s shoes don’t run true to size and width. I’ve ordered several shoes from Zappo’s. Now I’m questioning Zappo’s and the shoes they are now carrying. Again, very disappointed.

These are disappointing. I ordered the black oiled. They used to have that really flat, opaque finish - very sharp. Now they are just a non- shiny black leather. They just look like a regular black dansko clog. I had the same problem when I ordered these 3 years ago. Its a shame. Maybe Dansko no longer makes the black oiled but Zappos should modify this description because these are definitely the way they used to be.

Not sure what’s going on with the professional Danskos. I’ve worn them almost every day for over 20 years so have gone through a lot of them. Now they’re all just plain wide. Ordered the narrow and it is wider than the regular ones I’ve always worn. So disappointing.

I was incredibly disappointed with these shoes. They were advertised as having removable insoles and they do not.

The heels wear out and they cannot be fixed. boo! Not made to last so end up in the landfill because they become unwearable in very short order.
