I loved the look of my Dansko burnished leather clogs but was constantly twisting my ankle in them. Eventually I fell on my finger and broke it. When my officemate told me the same thing had happened to her while wearing the same clog, holding up a finger that literally twisted at the end joint, I finally gave in and threw them out... but not before I fell again, coming within a few inches of slicing my face on the edge of a dog waste can. Sigh. No more Dansko's for me.

I found my toes pressed uncomfortably up against the toe box. Perhaps a half-size down, or the Medium width (I always order Wide) would have been an improvement? I may try again as I like the look of the clog very much.

I have had 4 different pair of Dansko clogs over the years. They are all size 36. This pair is way too small. They must have changed their sizing because my others still fit.

My heels are far too narrow for this shoe.

NOT like Danskos used to be! i've had a pair for maybe 2 years and only worn them very occasionally, and today the synthetic part of the heel just fell apart! it took maybe 8 years for that to happen on my previous pair. haven't contacted dansko yet, and i didn't get them from zappos. :-(((

These shoes look cute but so so uncomfortable. Total waste of money. Would never buy Dansko again.

So disappointed, going back to work after 14 years, these were always my go to shoes... guess not anymore! I have a very standard size 9 shoe, when I did work I always wore size 39 so I ordered that... didn’t fit, got a 40... didn’t fit, 41 WAY too big. Terrible sizing. Disappointed in the fit these days! Leather and quality look great though...

I've been wearing danskos for years. I know they always take a few days to break in, which has never been an issue in the past. The last two pairs I've gotten have been simply unbearable, though. The pair before my latest purchase never really broke in, and the sides of my pinky toes were squeezed unbearably. I work in a kitchen so I never have a moment to sit down and some days I just couldn't wear them they were so painful. They finally gave a little bit but were never really as good as Danskos I've had in the past. I ordered the "wide" width this latest pair and they are pretty much unbearable. I have to return because I can't work a 12 hour shift with miserable feet and I don't know if they will ever break in. I'm really disappointed because these shoes have been my go to work shoes for almost 20 years.

I’ve worn size 38 for 10 years. This shoe was far too narrow to last a 12 hour shift. I love the looks of them. But I had to return them.

This is not a regular width. It's way too wide. Dansko needs to get their sizing problems straightened out.

These cost a lot. My go to brand for work shoes. However, the color peels of first day I wore them. These are cheaply wrapped vinyl. Not leather. I’m really pissed.

I am returning these because they are not wide enough to accommodate my bunions. I tried to wear them around the house hoping they might stretch out but the only thing that happened were my bunions turned red and were so pull of pain from the tightness of these shoes. I would like to see Dansko's come back with the wool uppers the fabric was forgiving enough that I could wear them. Does any of this feedback ever get back to someone who can do something about it?

These shoes are huge!!! Had to return; narrow is not narrow.

I loooooved these shoes. They are very comfortable and provided great arch support. Unfortunately in my opinion, they are not true to size. I ordered the 35 size, supposedly 4.5/5 in US sizes, but it was too big by about half an inch, and they didn't stay on when I walked. I buy a lot of shoes overseas, mainly Brazil. My shoe size there is 34, and all of my 60+ pairs of American shoes are a size 5. I'm not sure how these shoes can be considered a size 5.

If you are a woman who usually wears a narrow, then this shoes is not for you. I tried using innersoles and heavy socks. Still "walking out of it".

Wanted these for work as a Registered Nurse, tried the wide width & thought I would die. I'll stick with my New Balance 2E Made in America shoes for work.Not a lot of choices for small wide feet...So sad

I purchased a pair of these shoes approximately 1 year ago and they fit great. This time the left shoe fits great and the right shoe is too narrow. What happened to quality control????

This review is in regards to the Stone Distressed: I LOVE the Dansko Professional and own 7 pairs, and many other styles of Dansko. I was so excited for this shoe because the colors are great for spring and summer. However, I ordered three different pairs and all of them were too big. Just wide and not like any of the other pairs I own. I contacted Dankso and they said 'they do not have any manufacturing errors and, oh well, sorry they don't fit.' But something is definitely wrong with this run of shoe.

Dansko's seem to have changed their sizing. I am very disappointed since I've relied on Dansko's for years. I have always been a 36, but now the 36 swims on my feet and the 35 is impossibly small - can't even jam my foot in. Why such a mistaken strange change?

I was looking forward to getting these shoes after seeing my doctor wearing them and her raving about them. Sadly, the fit was very odd. My toes touched the toe portion of the shoe is a painful way-and my foot was sliding around in the shoe. The arch was very sharp feeling. I tried it with different socks but they feel too small and too big at the same time. And they HURT. Bummer!

I love danskos. And I've bought this style for years. But they have gotten stiffer and less flexible in the sole even with wear over time in the last ten years. This one is simply unwearable.

Awful. I have been wearing Dansko shoes for more than fifteen years. These shoes are now made in China instead of Italy. Dansko disappoints us now that they have chosen to outsource. As a registered nurse, the word is being put out to others not to purchase

Women with narrow feet beware: these shoes will NOT fit you. This "N" size must be a unisex designation because my feet were absolutely swimming in these shoes. I doublechecked that I was shipped the correct size and yes, I did receive an "N." But these are not even close.
