I own five pairs of Dansko brand shoes - four pairs of the Professional clogs and one pair of sandal clogs. While I have never ordered Dankso from Zappos, I do want to point out that the women's shoes are not the same as the men's, so I do not understand why they are grouping them in the same category on the order information. If you purchase a pair of Dansko clogs in the men's department in your size (say a 41), they are going to be too small. I wear a size 41 (10½-11), and if I purchased a size 41 in the men's, they would be equivalent to a size 9-9½ in a woman's size. Men's are also slightly wider than women's. Just FYI.

Working as a professional chef means on your feet for 14+ hours a day. The Dansko Professional clogs are one of the best shoes for great arch support, the thick soles keep one's legs from aches, and help with posture for less back pain. Not to mention the many colors and styles to add a little personality to my kitchen uniform.

I ordered a 40, my usual Dansko size, and it was way too big. I then ordered a 39 and a 39 wide, both of which were too short. I wore Dansko clogs for years and loved them for the simple fact that I could wear longer pants without having to hem them or wear heels! I took a break break from wearing them over the last several years, and maybe I just wasn't used to the space in the back on those 40s. I could have fit two fingers between my heel and the back of the shoe and felt I'd be exerting a lot of effort to try to keep them on. But they looked great, the cordovan goes with everything and the black (wide) is sharp looking. Maybe I'll try again in a few years. In the meantime, I just reheeled a couple of other Danskos, so I'll keep wearing those!

Too much arch support! The shoes are also too long for their size - I can fit a couple fingers behind my heels easily, and my pants get caught in the heel.

I am a lifelong wearer of Dansko clogs. However, as of the past few years, I can purchase 2 of the same shoe and they will fit differently. I am better off buying them in person, locally, near my home. Dansko's QC is not what it used to be..

Bought usual size (38) but too large.

They are too big. Wore 41 for years. Something has changed with the sizing.

So not the Dansko look and feel of past purchases.

I am a longtime wearer of the Dansko professional clog. They just make my feet happy. I wear them a lot so I replace them every couple of years or so. I have worn a 37 narrow forever. For some reason, the latest pair, though labeled 37 narrow, feels more like a 37 WIDE. They literally fly off of my feet. I really hope they’re simply mislabeled (though this would mean that a whole run of their shoes/insoles are mislabeled). I am going to try ordering another pair to see if they fit any better. I hope they haven’t changed the measurements and ruined my life ;)

Despite being advertised as narrow, these shoes are still very wide. My foot is a 2A width, and my foot was swimming inside the shoe. There's no way I could safely wear these shoes with how much my foot moved around in them, even when I tried a size smaller. So sad! I like the design of the shoe, but they are not made for a narrow foot.

I have 4 pairs in this same style. This latest pair seemed a bit wide.

I’ve worn danskos for years, so I know how they are supposed to fit. These came in and are huge and sloppy. There is so much variation between pairs within the same size that you’re better off going to a store and trying several pairs to find the correct fit. These were awful, certainly didn’t feel like the dansko professionals of old.

I just received these and will wear them around the house to see how I like them. One shoe feels bigger than the other on the top of the foot. They also slip up and down on the back of my foot but someone said that is part of it. They are really hard and I wish there was a softer foot bed or insert option. If I’m able to update here I will after I walk around I. The house today in them. I stand a lot since I’m a teacher so I definitely don’t need sore feet and I have planter fasciitis. I am a 7.5 and 8 in different shoes. I ordered a 38.

Have same size from previous purchase and this pair was distinctly different in fit and even quality of leather.

Have ordered same clog for many years, now feels large and sloppy :(

I have another pair of 37 Narrow Danskos and these fit way looser than those. I will be returning because they are way too loose.

38 was too short in the toes and 39 was way too bi. Haven’t purchased these for a long time- seems 38 used to be perfect fit.

I bought these for my wife. She has a pair of 37 Narrow that she loves. She has had them for about 15 years, so they are looking a bit ratty. The 37 N that I ordered did not come close to fitting. I measured from the heel to the strap over the arch, and they were slightly more than 1/4 inch longer. I ordered a 36, but the Narrow was not available, and the medium is also too big. I am on the list to be notified when a 36 Narrow is available. I will keep you posted. Obviously, they changed the shoe since she bought her two original pair.

I have been wearing dansko for over 20 years but on this shoes the arch didn’t Mach up with my arch. Returned.

I purchased these exact same clogs 2 years ago , same size , and this pair was too big. They were made in different manufacturing plants . It appears dansko has changed their manufacturing process again.

Love these shoes and have worn them for years. But sizing no longer consistent from pair to pair. 36 was too big (flew off my foot if I kicked); 35 too tight. I got a slightly different style (the ones that look like lamb fur) in 36 that was perfect. Fit is hit or miss

I noted “too big," but that doesn’t begin to describe the problem with these shoes. I’ve been wearing Dansko clogs for decades and have always gotten a size 35, which is the smallest size. These were one, if not two, sizes too large. Obviously, I can’t order a smaller size. I called the Zappo's help people, and they were really nice, but the problem is that I really want these shoes and now don’t know what to do. I went back online and read the comments, and there seem to be lots of problems with the Dansko fit these days. That’s really too bad as they’ve been a terrific product for soooo many years. If you find a pair of these that seem smaller than the rest, please let me know.

I had ordered a 39 in Red and these are a 38 but they actually felt larger!

I wanted to love these black patent shoes, but they were just a bit too tight in the toes for me, especially after adding my orthotic. The patent looks really pretty though. Dansko does a great job there. But like Sanitas, not all Danskos fit the same. You just have to try them to see for yourself. That is the great part about Zappos. But in this time of Covid19, the shipping is running a day slower than what Zappos usually have.
