I've been wearing Dansko closed bag professional clogs for 10+ years and always purchase size 38. For some reason the professional clog in Cordovan Cabrio always runs big. I've ordered it from a few different authorized Dansko retailers and it's always the same issue. This time I thought I was being smart and ordered a 37 -- no such luck. The right show was still too big. I sent them back. Such a shame because it's a great color that would look nice with either black or brown work pants.

I ordered these shoes from Zappos and the service was absolutely awesome! I can not believe that I ordered these shoes on a Saturday night and they shipped still the next day! And I got them on Tuesday (the day after Memorial Day). Was absolutely astounded. Would definitely shop Zappos again. I've never had such fast online service before. Zappos App is definitely going to be added to my android. But the shoe on the other hand is a totally different story. I ordered a size and half larger than I normally wear after reading the earlier reviews and I too have the same issue with the instep. The shoe would be an awesome shoe if the instep wasn't so tight. I'm trying to decide now if I am going to go ahead and send them back.

I wanted this shoe to work! with a wide foot & bunions, I really need something I can wear for long days at work. just couldn't get the feel of this shoe. felt like nothing about it conforms to my foot. :(

I ordered a size 36. My usual shoe size is 5.5 EEE/EEEE. The length is as advertised and the width is acceptable for a super wide foot with very thin socks but the depth is a bit snug across the top band. Not nearly as comfortable as my old Birkenstock clogs but they don't make them anymore. The heel is thick/tall enough to set off the scanners at airports. Not the most attractive style but I have limited options in my size.

If you have a relatively high instep steer away from this particular Dansko. I could barely get my foot in and out off the shoe and wearing socks is not even an option. I love Danskos so I will return these and try another model.

I own many pairs of Danskos and have always worn a size 37. For some reason these are too big for my feet. Still cannot be any happier with Zappos, got them quick and returning them for free! Will try a size smaller.

I have worn Danskos for serving in the past. These shoes are not those shoes. These shoes are heavy, and narrower and don't give a sense that they will form to the foot. They are also 38s which means they are 7.5-8ish. I have a pretty perfect 7.5 M (I wear 8s in boots occasionally) and these were too narrow at my toes and loose at my heel. No thanks. They are not cute, so they had better feel like walking on a cloud. That is not this.

Alas, as a long time Dansko advocate, they stopped producing the past high quality that they used to. Not to mention the shoe sizes that they list do not co.e bear to matching the size they used to be. What's up? They were huge on my feet, the heel cup was very large, and the uppers felt flimsy. No more Danskos for me. Pity.

Shoe was stiff and very uncomfortable

I’ve owned multiple pairs of Danskos. These are ridiculously narrow.

I really wanted to love these. While the fit is perfect, the noise and squeaking they produce in the hallways of the monastery is too noisy for the cohabitants. Thats the only drawback. Construction is solid. Unfortunately, the quiet Birkenstocks won over these.

I have worn this style of Dansko clogs for over 10 years but the last pair I got was not very comfortable and I felt the arch support was less. Also realized how heavy these shoes are to wear- am switching to Allegria clogs.

Wanted to keep these tried talking myself into it based on my 20+ year love of danskos. Couldn’t do it. Ever since they changed where/how the make their shoes, the quality just isn’t what it used to be. One clog was noticeably looser than the other. Couldn’t keep it on my foot even with curling my toes. When you’re running a code as a nurse, you need your shoes to stay on. Will try Sanita.

I SO wanted to purchase a pair of Danskos. This pair carried the seal of approval from the APMA, which to my mind is an added plus. Unfortunately, the women's sizing of Danskos, at least for my size 12, is way off! I tried a larger size; I tried the Men's equivalent size, yet nothing worked. The women's sizes were consistently too small; the men's too large. No Goldilocks. : ( Obviously, this doesn't appear to be a problem for many people, which you can see from the ratings, etc. I do wish Dansko would arrive at a better sizing for larger foot sizes, though.

I wear a women's size 12, so I figured that the 12.5 - 13 in women would work. It doesn't. A true size smaller -- and the men's equivalent is not correct either. For a closed toe shoe, I suggest ordering one size up. I'm going to reorder and hope that works, as I would love to try this shoe!

The two shoes were very different sizes. The length was the same for both, but the right one was way too tight, and the left one was way too loose to stay on.

Too wide for me. There was also a small flaw at the toe area. I would have forgiven but just too wide. Heel came up and out.

Beautiful professional Dansko clog. I love the look. But… wide is not wide. I can’t return them because I wore them to work and it was the worst mistake. I tried stretching them over a three day period. The leather never budged. Just as tight as the day I took them out of the box. If you have have a wide foot, DO NOT waste your coins. Look for a different brand or clog.

The right shoe felt fine but the left shoe was made oddly, having a very narrow spot at the arch. Returning

I am new to Danskos and have always heard that they run narrow and small. I found that to be quite the opposite here. I usually require a wide shoe and these were huge. Thank you Zappos for a seamless return! I ordered another pair in the normal width, but same size and they feel like they will do the trick.

Too loose and clunky

I usually wear Merrill clogs in 11 M which fit me perfectly. I ordered a 41 N in the Dansko but they were very short and, at the same time, very wide. Can't really comment on comfort since I didn't wear them. But my initial impression is that they are heavier and stiffer than the Merrills.
