I wear Dansko's to work and I own several pair, I was really disappointed with these blue ones though because when they scratch the base color is white,,,not blue. So now i have little white scratches all over the toes and it's a pretty big bummer, they look several years old and I've only had them a few months. Other than that, same great fit and comfort I expect from Dansko's.

It kills me to write this review. I've been a very happy, very loyal Dansko wearer for 25 years. This pair feels different from previous pairs. It's not nearly as comfortable, and my usual size doesn't fit me quite as well. (I suppose it's possible that my feet have changed, not the shoes, in that regard.) I wore them out and about before realizing that my old trusted shoes weren't feeling so good, so I can't return them and try again. I can wear these, and will wear them, but they don't make my feet happy the way Danskos usually do.

Love the color, true to picture shown. I have many Dansko clogs and this style size is much larger will return in hopes of receiving better fit

I wear a woman's 10.5N. Ordered the 41N and they were too short. The 42N fit great. These are supremely comfortable. I see why chefs rely on them. They're really cute, too.

I have wide feet (thanks to having broken the smallest toe on both feet and having them heal up a bit angled out) and a bad back. I have one pair of Dansko's and they help my back a lot, but they are too narrow and feet always hurt a lot. I tried this shoe in a wide width, but it is still too narrow. I wish they had more room in the toe box, but I have to send these back.

Definitely go up a size when ordering these! They aren't as comfortable as I was expecting. Maybe I just need more time to break them in. I will definitely get the XP ones next time! Only problem with the matte ones is that they scuff really easy too.

I loved this shoe. Was exactly what I was looking for as far as heel height, quality of workmanship and appearance. Alas, the heel is so sloppy big I couldn't keep my feet inside the shoe. Must return.

I wanted to like these shoes but they didn't fit my high arch.

It was supposed to be a narrow but this pair felt too wide; I could not keep my feet in the shoes. I will have to return these and try my luck ordering another pair. I had this experience the last time I bought these same shoes.

Danskos are the best shoes for me. I'm a teacher and spend my days walking on concrete floors. Danskos give me the support that I need so my feet and legs aren't aching at the end of the day. Unfortunately, this pair is so tight across the instep of my LEFT foot, I can barely stand to wear them. I have to agree with the other reviewers that the fit of this shoe is different from past Dansko clogs. And, sadly, I wore them to work thinking that they would stretch out so now I can't even return them. An expensive mistake...live and learn.

I think these would have been good shoes for my application, but the recommended size was too short for my foot and I couldn't go to a larger size because my heel already slipped in the narrow width.

It's really hard for me to know what to rate. I have two Dansko Professional pair - one in black and one in blueberry. I love the blueberry. The black causes me so much pain, which I've never experienced in a shoe before. It's been over a year and I still can't wear them for more than a few hours a day, so I almost never wear them to work. I actually made the mistake of wearing them to work about 4 days ago and so I was in them for about 10 hours. It's four days later and my feet are still cramped and sore from wearing them. I'm so confused because again, the blueberry is the exact same style and I've worn them for over 16 hours and they're amazing. No issues at all. I don't understand but I'm definitely give up on the black pair.

I tried these on in a store in a 38 and 39 regular. The 38 I could barely get my foot in; the 39 flopped off. Normally I wear an 8 wide in dress shoes, so I thought I would get a 38 wide in these. They are still too tight; I was able to get my foot in, but I felt they were too tight and for this price, I want them perfect. I had to return.

I am trying so hard to get a pair of Danskos that I like. These fit well front to back but my little toe was smashed. Not very comfortable and no arch support to speak of.

I love Danskos if you are lucky enough to get the right width. These are apparently handmade and it carries. I ordered 42 in black patent leather and they are great but I keep them at work because the leather scratches off with driving. I ordered the brown leather and the width (wide) is so tight I can't put my foot in the shoe at all!

This shoe is very stylish however the top of the shoe rubs and is too tight, it's hard to judge with Dansko as the next size up for me would be way to big. I am going to try and have them stretched, otherwise this may be my last part as I've had this happen before and suffered through it. I actually bought a bigger size this time but still the same issue.

Not recommended if you have a high instep (the curve at the top of your foot). I have this conformation, so this shoe cuts the circulation off a bit, so it lacks comfort in that respect. I went for a brisk long walk in them and they really started cutting of the circulation painfully. Around the house they are mostly fine. The footbed is comfortable and the shoes are very sturdy. The design is attractive. The shoe doesn't seem to breathe that well, just fyi.

Love the look of the tooled leather. Length is right but it's just too loose for me to move around confidently and comfortably. Narrow isn't available. I don't usually need narrow shoes but my last purchase of Dansko clogs was narrow oiled leather (I don't think they had the tooled in narrow then either). This time I ordered 3 pair (including the Silver Blue tooled and the Tamara) to compare (all the same size and this pair is wider / looser than the other two). This first pair of Dansko wore like iron - I've worn them for many years and they're finally falling apart. I've decided to keep the Tamara. It's a little more tailored in appearance but fits on my foot more securely.

I had a rather disastrous experience in needing a last minute pair of clogs, and Zappos treated me royally. I regret to say that these Danskos continue to be variable in size, and that the ones I got are HUGE, despite being ordered in my regular, narrow size. They rattle around on my feet and I'm constantly afraid of stepping out of them or turning my ankle. I'm not sure where to go next, but I appreciate Zappos excellent service.

Have worn Dansko clogs for 25 years. Bought the Professional for the first time, and although I have a narrow foot, it is snug putting them on. Even a thin sock bunches up, and I have to wiggle down into the shoe. I used to be able to wear a heavier sock with my old pair. VERY odd. I also HATE the embossed plastic strip that lines the inside of the back of the shoe, I might try to remove it. Am keeping because the support is good.

LOVE my black Danskos. The black Dansko wide 37 fit me well, but the brown here did not -- too big. Ordered a 36 wide, too small. Sad that there's no "just right" brown with this style.

I almost always wear US 9.5/EU 40, including in non-professional Danskos. But the size 40 pair were too small and the 41s definitely too big. After reading reviews, I decided to try Sanitas in size 41 and those are perfect.

I've been wearing Dansko closed bag professional clogs for 10+ years and always purchase size 38. For some reason the professional clog in Cordovan Cabrio always runs big. I've ordered it from a few different authorized Dansko retailers and it's always the same issue. This time I thought I was being smart and ordered a 37 -- no such luck. The right show was still too big. I sent them back. Such a shame because it's a great color that would look nice with either black or brown work pants.

I ordered these shoes from Zappos and the service was absolutely awesome! I can not believe that I ordered these shoes on a Saturday night and they shipped still the next day! And I got them on Tuesday (the day after Memorial Day). Was absolutely astounded. Would definitely shop Zappos again. I've never had such fast online service before. Zappos App is definitely going to be added to my android. But the shoe on the other hand is a totally different story. I ordered a size and half larger than I normally wear after reading the earlier reviews and I too have the same issue with the instep. The shoe would be an awesome shoe if the instep wasn't so tight. I'm trying to decide now if I am going to go ahead and send them back.

I wanted this shoe to work! with a wide foot & bunions, I really need something I can wear for long days at work. just couldn't get the feel of this shoe. felt like nothing about it conforms to my foot. :(
