I have been a faithful Dansko wearer and wear a size 39 M width excellently. My US shoe size is 8.5 - 8 M. This is my first pair of Sanitas. I ordered the Professional Cabrio Brushed Blue. Very pretty color. It is an uneven color stain but is supposed to be that way. Darker in some spots than others but in a stylish way. Anyway, after reading the reviews regarding size, I did not know which way to order but with Zappos free shipping / free return policy, I decided to order the size I would wear if I were ordering Danskos, a 39 M, and go from there. When I tried to put them on, I winced with pain as I forced my foot into the clog. It was not the length that was off, but instead the width. Way too tight across the top of the foot and too narrow for what I am used to in a Dansko. I quickly re-ordered the same size, a 39, but in a wide width. They came today and when I easily slipped my foot into them, I went Ahhhh! I will be returning the M width and keeping the W width...and I have never worn a wide shoe in my life and tend to have a narrow foot and walk out of my shoes. I hope this review helps you purchase the correct size of Sanitas for you.

Very best work shoe for anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet. Great support, reduces fatigue. Well worth the price.

Great fit and feel. We were going to Europe to visit some of the old cities with cobblestone streets. These handled the rough stuff well and still looked nice.

These clogs are no nonsense. They're comfortable for being on your feet all day, and appropriately professional. You won't get awards for stylish footwear, but you'll feel up to going out for happy hour. This is my third pair of Dansko clogs; I can't recommend them enough.

I bought these shoes for my wife. She works long hours walking on her feet. Now she tells me how much she likes these shoes.

These are my favorite shoes for comfort, and I have worn them for years. However, I should have paid more attention to the newer reviews that said they are narrower than they used to be. I'm going to have to order a "wide" pair.

I own the oiled leather Danskos and love them, but I have to say the Pro Cabrio's are so much better. They feel significantly lighter than my oiled leather Dansko's and have substantially better arch support, plus the shinier leather looks much more professional in a work environment. The sizing and width are great. I am a true 6.5, and found that the size 37 was perfect.

I have always wondered what all the hype was about Dansko shoes. I couldn't bring myself to spend the money. But I am so glad I did! These have got to be the most comfortable shoes ever. All day wear and no backache no sore legs! I wish I would have bought them years ago! Worth every penny!

Love these shoes. This is my 3rd pair that I have purchased for work and love then every time. I walk on concrete all day and my feet never hurt when I leave.

Barely long enough, but fits perfect. I wear 9.5 to ten so I ordered 40 wide. Usually I only need ten to get the extra width, but in these I almost needed to get 41. But while the length was a close call, they fit perfect. I love the space for my toesies and the instep is high enough in this model. Some Danskos are too tight in the instep for me, but these I'm lovin'.

At first I almost returned the shoes because they felt too big. After some research I found out the were supposed to fit this way.. And they are amazing! I work in a pharmacy and work between 8 and 12 hour days and these save my feet, knees and back. I'm really hoping they last a long time. Definitely worth the price.

I suffered from Achilles tendonitis for years. Probably close to 20 years. Went from doctor to doctor. No one was able to help me. My daughter told me about Dansko. I thought, "what the heck". So I bought my first pair. Within 6-9 months I began noticing that my Achilles heel was not as painful anymore. I continued to wear only the professional Dansko shoes. It probably took a full 18 months to 2 years, but eventually I had no pain at all. I believe these shoes truly heeled what no doctor could. I recommend these shoes to anyone with Achilles tendonitis.

These are the only shoes I will wear for nursing. 12 hour shifts and I don't have a bit of foot pain. I would have never guessed I was a narrow size but I got sized in a Walking Company store. The narrow size makes all the difference! I couldn't wear Dansko's if it wasn't for the narrow sizes. I go a size up and get the narrow. I do wish the narrow sizes came in some of the other cool patterns But I still love my cabrio (dark red) leather ones.

So pleasantly surprised! People seem to either loooove or hate these, which is very interesting. I almost didn't risk it since t have a very narrow foot but I went straight for the 'narrow' style and it is absolutely perfect for me. I wasn't having any swelling or major foot soreness with the shoes I was wearing before, but the lower back stress seems to be completely resolved with these AND I can stay on my feet in the hospital for a 12 hr shift and be totally fine. I also find myself just kicking them on when running errands etc, they truly are that comfortable to me! Highly recommended! Based on some of my friends' experiences, if you don't immediately find a pair that fits, keep trying different styles and keep looking - I think they feel different to everyone, and may require some hunting to find just the right pair.

This is my 2nd pair of Dansko's. I have plantar fasciitis and the 1st pair worked wonders. These are a little snug in the instep, but mine is high. Hoping they stretch a bit. Otherwise, they are extremely comfy. Very worth the money. I'm a size 5 (so it's hard to find shoes my size) and these fit perfectly. Thank you Zappos for having small sizes!

Amazing, comfortable go everywhere shoes. I would wear these every day. Super comfy (after the break in period).

I know so many folks who love this shoe and find it extremely comfortable, so my hopes were up when I noticed that a narrow was available. I found the narrow in name only; the fit was wider than any narrow shoe I own.

Perfect fit. Also, really like the quality and leather type. I was considering the patent style but this cabrio leather has sufficient shine. Excellent.

I was introduced to Dansko about 10 years ago when a friend gave me a pair. That first pair lasted until last fall , no joke. Of course, I have bought many styles other than this. I use these for work and casual wear on the weekends. LOVE THEM. Great for walking/standing. Easy to slide your foot into or out of after a long day. This style has always fit my foot well. They fit well and look good/professional, not sloppy. Try them!

These shoes run small. I usually wear a 9.5-10 and in the Danskos I wear a 41 narrow. I am a nurse working three 12 hour shifts. These shoes are amazing! I was wearing good tennis shoes that cost the same as the danskos and my feet/back were killing me by the end of the shifts. The first night I wore my dankso's, my back did not hurt at all, but my feet were a little sore. After the first week, my feet no longer were sore, it took a week to break them in. If you are on your feet for long hours, these shoes are worth the price! Also, the color here is not correct, if you look on Dansko's website, the color for cabrio leather is the color you will get, not this brown color pictured. I took a chance that Zappos had the wrong color posted and I was correct. Save your back get these shoes!

I love these shoes. Lighter than my older pair of Danskos. Nice looking. Comfortable. Great arch support. I am a nurse and so am on my feet a lot. I am very happy with this pair.

VERY happy about this purchase! I wear them all day long at work (Dental Assistant) where I have to be on my feed all the time. I will order them again!

I work 12 hour shifts as a nurse, I do not think my back and feet could survive without these shoes. They provide excellent arch support. I find them true to size. These shoes made me a Dansko fan. This is my second pair of these.

Great style and support. Cannot live without them. Good prices and great service. What's not to like?
