I currently have a pair of Danskos in a size 40 and the tightness across the instep leaves an indent on my foot and the toe box seemed big. I ordered the black patent leather in a 39 wide thinking it would fit better than my current pair. They were too short and even though they were wide they were still tight on the instep and overall just too small so I had to send back. Sad I had to send back because they were so cute and sharp looking. I love the stiff support of the insole in Danskos since I work on concrete 40-50 hours a week.

Love these! They run a little small. I had to go up a size. So take that into consideration.

This is my 3rd pair of Dansko's, they are great shoes. Zappos had the shoes to my home in 2 days, amazing service!

I ordered the Pro XP waterproof in the exact same size - they fit perfectly. But these are too narrow. It is a shame that Dansko cannot get their sizing more consistent.

These shoes are just what I needed. I have extremely narrow feet and had to put insoles to get the perfect fit. The wider toe box is what my toes had been craving. Stability is great also. Munro American is a favorite of mine but sometimes my toes need a bit more wiggle room when saddles aren't an option.

Love these. The narrow fit makes them fit so much more comfortably than regular width.

Having already owned a pair of Danskos I know the "break in" process. That being said these shoes were not tight or uncomfortable at first fitting like others described. I'm glad to have had a better experience with the 'professional' model.

I recommend them for those that like comfort. I have RA and these shoes are perfect for me. I love them!

I love Dansko clogs and have been wearing them for 16 years. I appreciate the wide as my feet have more room and my feet and legs don't hurt after standing for long periods at work. Best nursing shoes!

These are very dependable and long lasting shoes (I have had them before and my last pair lasted 13 years!). The only problem I have is that I am an underpronator and the shoes sort of throw my foot to the outside. So if you have low arches I think the arch support would work great for you.

These are a must have for those of us with high arches and a tendency towards plantar fascia. Okay, they're not glamorous but I wear them intermittently throughout the day (slip off the those high heels). I get teased sometimes, but my feet love them!

As a teacher, I am on my feet all day. A friend who is a Thoracic Surgeon turned me on to The Dansko Professional. I have 6 pairs and I were one every day. When I went to Ireland last year, they were great for walking all day too! My students get a kick out of the patterns and colors and I end my day, everyday, with happy feet! I love this pattern.

I currently wear 37W in the Professional Dankos that I have had for several years. These were much wider. I will return them and order 37 regular width. The length was perfect.

I have tried several styles of Dansko clogs and find that the Professional is by far the most comfortable for daylong wear. They are very durable.

I'm a new teacher (not young though, alas) and a friend who is a nurse recommended them when I complained about my aching feet. They are not soft, but the footbed is perfectly proportioned. I ordered another pair in brown. I did order them a full size larger than I would for normal shoes, just because of the way they are supposed to fit. They are fantastic.

These fit perfectly in the same size as my old ones (years and years old.) I love them. When I tried the Pro XP's they were too long, and not quite the right fit at all. I'd recommend this type instead.

This is the only type of shoe I wear for work. I have several pairs and rotate them everyday. They are comfortable from the very beginning. I wear a 7.5 and bought the 37 size and they are still a little loose. My heel lifts up with every step. I highly recommend them.

I have a pair of 36W that I've owned for 4 years and I just ordered a new pair because my current shoes are worn to the brink. It took me a while to finally break it in. Wish Danskos would make their wide shoes just a tad wider. I'll have to suffer the breaking in part for now but once it does, they are really comfortable shoes when you're standing on your feet all day.

This is my second pair of this color. I really love them. I know I can order my size 41 and it will fit out of the box. I normally wear a size 9 in other shoes. I have been to the Walking Company and been fitted so these shoes do run small but once you find your fit you will love them.

I've always had open back Danskos so was reluctant to try the Professional; but for some reason there are many more color/texture/pattern choices in this style so I decided to give them a shot. I'm pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these are, though somewhat clunkier looking and feeling than the open back version. I find that these fit true to size, though it's interesting to note that Sanita's sizing seems entirely different. I'm pretty consistently an 8-1/2 and Dansko's 39 fits me perfectly. However I ordered at the same time the same style in Sanita 39 and could barely get them on my feet. So fyi, Dansko's 39 seems to = Sanita 40.

Great fit, finally a wide Dansko that is wide enough, supportive & comfortable right out of the box.

Love! They are much brighter then they appear so if you want bright red shoes I mean bright these are for you!

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable I hate to take them off. I do wish they were non-slip, though. It's the only thing that would make them better.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable and cute. This is my second set of the exact same pair of shoes. That says it all. I have the XP Danskos as well, and they are just not as comfortable. I definitely recommend them, especially if you work on your feet for long hours. They are worth the price.

I owned Danskos for years! I love them! I had my last pair of black ones for seven years and just replaced them with these lovelies! The are awesome shoes.
