I have arthritis in both feet, putting off surgery as long as I can. If shoes don't fit just right, especially across the toe joints, I'm pretty much crippled for awhile unless I'm wearing them to nap on the couch. I'm not on my feet all day, but I definitely benefit from the construction.

I have a job where I am on my feet all day so I needed a good pair of shoes. I love these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and they have excellent support. I like the fact that they don't look like "work" shoes.

I really love these clogs for quickly slipping in and out of for yoga class and walking my dog etc. The base has some flexibility and good absorption so it’s not like a wooden clog. This also results in a quiet step when you walk downtown he street. I ordered my normal shoe size which is a 40 but I really wish I had exchanged them for a 41. They run along athletic shoe sizing as opposed to normal street shoe sizing. I definitely recommend them but size up one!

I love these shoes! I had to replace a similar pair that I wore out (they were about 10 years old). The arch support is really crucial when I’m on my feet 10+ hours a day.

Beautiful color, nice leather but enormous! I've worn Dansko 40s for many years. Ordered the 39 and it was too short (the leather had odd patterns on it as well--looked like bird's eye maple). Sadly I still don't have any tan Danskos :-( My rating is for all the other Dansko professionals I've worn and loved over the years.

I don't even care if people think these are ugly. I think they are cute and even if they were ugly, they make up for it in comfort. I've worn the Dansko narrow pro for 15 years and still love them. I'm able to dress somewhat casual for work and can get away with wearing these clogs with pants. I think they're cute with cropped pants and no-show socks.

Wonderful shoe, especially for those with problem feet. Very large toe bed and great support. Dansko has re-sized - order your normal size in these. In the old ones you had to go one size up.

Loved these shoes and hard to return but were actually too narrow and tight on top of my feet. The make is definitely different than the others I've worn so not sure if it's specific to this season or Zappos but hope to find the exact same pair again but better fitting. I don't think wide would resolve the challenges I had with these otherwise would have exchanged.

Wonderful. I am a 7.5 in running shoes. I got a 38. The 37 seemed too small but 38 a little big but more comfortable. I was told they don't stretch out much at all. Kinda dorky shoes but comfortable.

I always wear these at work. Can stand for many hours and my feet don't get tired or sore.

cute and so comfy, but not the color I imagined. I have a wide foot across the toe box and these seemed roomy enough to accomodate a sock. I used t wear Dansko clogs almost all the time and found them great for walking long distances on cement floors where I worked.

Perfect pair of Danskos!! The color of these is a gray, so if that's what you're contemplating, you should be good! Arch support unprecedented as always with Dansko!

Beautiful Dansko shoes but for some reason run very large compared to the 25 other pair of Dansko I own. Zappo;s is quick accurate and great to deal with.

What can I say? I love this shoe - I got a pair every couple of years - I love the patent black. I'm a surgeon and it's perfect for me when I'm on my feet.

These actually fit me true to size. I previously purchased the Dansko professional black cabrio in a size 37 narrow. I don't have a particularly narrow foot, and I'm always a 36 in Danskos. However, after reading reviews, I tried that sizing combo, and it works for me. These honey distressed weren't available in a 37 narrow, so I took a chance with a 36 regular. The shoe fit perfectly, but the right foot was noticeably wider than the left. This was the last pair, so sadly I had to send them back. I do love the honey distressed for a more neutral and summery look, though.

I'm obsessed with my Danskos. Currently they're the only brand of shoes I wear, anywhere. I work 9+ hours on my feet in the food service industry, and these clogs were a godsend. Plus, they're cute enough to wear outside of work too. I get compliments on them all the time.

Two years later these are still going up and down the halls and getting more comfortable every day----My go to Shoe just love them

The distressed stone color was a lot more gray in person than pictured. I love the fit and feel of the shoe. But had I known they were that gray, I probably wouldn't have purchased them.

Shoes are great. Took Zappos a LONG TIME TO SHIP and the customer service couldn't tell me when, so I asked that they cancel my order, but they did not and shipped them anyway (too late).

I loved all of my Dansko clogs. Until I rolled off them walking down a flat sidewalk with no debris/obstructions, and broke my right ankle in 3 places. During emergency room and hospital/doctor visits, I had MANY doctors and nurses tell me they see this injury all the time from people wearing Dansko clogs, including those in the medical profession who also love to wear these until they get a broken ankle. Then heel is narrower than the toe box and it creates instability according to the ortho surgeon who repaired my bones. I don't understand why there is no information about this anywhere? I was told that the only safe way to wear them is on very flat surfaces-no ramps, inclines, and not to walk fast or over long distances like in airports. I really hate that I have to give up such well-made comfortable shoes, but I never want another broken ankle, so bye-bye Danskos.

On looks alone, Danskos are notorious for their reputation as the ugly duckling of shoes. I held out on buying a pair for so long because after only seeing them online, I couldn't be convinced that these could look cute with anything.That all changed after I saw them in the wild when one of my co-workers paired them with a skirt. I was shocked at how well the Danskos complimented her look and actually did look stylish. Later, I ended up committing myself to volunteer at a hospital once a week and made the mistake of wearing Vans sneakers during my first shift. What a mistake. I am an active person. I bike commute and run marathons but it wasn't until I completed my first four hour shift in unsupportive sneakers in which I found out what it's like to have back pain in your late 20's. Danskos also have a reputation of being the shoe of choice for healthcare workers so I figured it was time to take the plunge and see if these shoes were as life changing as everyone makes then out to be.I ordered my first pair in the Oiled Black style. When I tried them on, I was pleased with the look but they felt slippery inside, as if the shoe was too big. I noticed my heel moved freely and was worried that I ordered the wrong size. I found that this is completely normal, especially now that I just bought a second pair in the Stone Distressed style, only two months after purchasing the Oiled Black. Trust me on this: these shoes need time to be broken in. At first, you will think you made a huge mistake spending over $100 on shoes that only a mother could love. But with every step, your foot will mold into the shoe and you'll find that they will get more snug (but not in a bad way) over time.I have worn my Danskos to work, during my ER shifts, staffing at conferences, and walking all around New York City and Chicago. I don't know what life was like before Danskos. I think I'm a true convert now. While I will take a pass at the really crazy prints (I think those look best with scrubs), I definitely want the Honey Distressed and eventually the Oiled Red. If you've been holding out for a while - it's time to take the plunge and see what it's like to fall in love with a shoe.
