This is my second pair of Ecco booties, and I jam in love! These feel like a second skin crossed with a running shoe; I've already worn them for a full day walking on pavement, and my feet were none the worse for wear at the end! Sleek and soft, they tuck nicely into even skinny jeans. Highly recommended!

Ecco makes some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had the pleasure of wearing. And they're both beautiful and long-lasting! The Babett bootie is wonderful -- it was comfortable from the first time I tried it on. No need for a break-in period whatsoever! The booties are well-made, and I can tell they will last a long, long time. These babies felt very true to size, and I would recommend them if you're looking for something well-made and comfortable. They also look nice with a variety of outfits! You can't go wrong with these! One thing: Arch support is moderate.

I bought these boots for a December trip to Europe because I wanted something a little classier and lighter than my Uggs. I have been pleasantly surprised by the light weight, durability, warmth (but not too warm) and overall comfort of these boots. I was slightly appalled to pay this much for a pair of boots but they have been a great investment and I know they will last for years.

I really like Ecco and have worn their boots for the last 10 years. This boot fits like a leather glove and looks great. Pros: No zippers but easy to get on and off, yet a tight fit. Looks great with jeans, work slacks, and professional. Light! And yet cushion for your heel for lots of walking and standing. Cons: Tight fit in toe box and big toe - but Ecco leather boots do stretch a bit with wear.

These boots were super-comfortable from the get-go. Good arch support, which I need, and just good all-round support. they look good - not glamorous, being flat boots, but a great buy for me.

These booties are so comfortable. I have bad feet with a bunion, no arches, hammertoes, so it's hard to find shoes that are stylish and comfortable. These fit the bill, I love them. I wish I could've found a better deal, but sometimes you gotta bite the bullet and pay full retail. Zappos sent them a day after I bought them - wow.

This shoe fit like a glove when I put it on the 1st time and there was no break-in period for comfortable walking. It is an attractive, unobtrusive shoe for wearing with slacks to work (walking to/from metro etc). The Babette slip on slipped up and down my heel - this version does not slip and keeps foot slightly warmer on cool days. Slips on easily, snug on foot, ankle opening not tight at all. I would call the arch support above-average (not a great as some Vionic but very good) just slightly less than excellent.

These wonderful shoes walked me through several European cities this fall. As comfortable as sneakers but so much more fashionable. My orthotics fit in them very well.

I've had a similar Ecco boot in brown for a couple of years. It seemed like a boot I ended up wearing a lot even if the brown color wasn't always suitable -- so comfortable, functional and an easy pull-on. When I saw the black I knew it would be even more useful. One time, at the last minute, I threw the brown pair into my suitcase for a Sprng trip to the U.K. Guess what, it rained every day and I wore them every day. This new black pair should serve me even better.

I am size 9-9.5M and ordered size 40. I think these are attractive shoes. Simple, well proportioned, not chunky, not gappy at the top. Look fine with slacks. They fit my foot well. They have moderate arch support – not enough for my high arches, but there is some support. The toe box is nicely rounded, making for a sleek profile, and there seems to be enough room in the toe box for my bunion. (It might have to stretch a bit for ultimate comfort, but the leather seems pliable enough that it will stretch.) My custom inserts fit (tightly), but unfortunately with them in, my heel rubs against the back of the shoe. I ultimately opted for the ultra-soft Arcopedico L19 over these, but I haven't returned them yet because they're so close to right that I hesitate to give them up. I probably will, though, because I've wasted enough money gambling on breaking in shoes that rub. Thank you, Zappos, for giving me lots of time to mull it over!

I loved the looks of this shoe, however it was too thin for the ball of my foot. Most other Eccos were thicker in that area. I couldn't call it a walking shoe for me.

Seems well made. Footbed is cushioned well. Slightly narrow in the toe box, but perhaps this would stretch out over time. This is only the second pair of Eccos I have ever tried on, and I'm thinking this brand may just be a little too narrow for me. I'm returning the boots mainly because the "style" isn't what I'm looking for.

I bought these booties as a "back-up" to my sturdy, lined, warm boots for a winter trip to Europe. I think they are a bit light duty for ten days of walking cobbled streets, but they are super comfy, light weight, have decent support and should be good to wear in airports, and any time I need a change from my winter boots. In the meantime, I am loveing wearing them around home. They're very cute also.

I was so happy to see this long-lost style back again (I used to have it in nubuck). I've been wearing many types of Ecco shoes and ankle boots for years and years, and they tend to last forever, but this model runs significantly large (long in the toes). The good news is that it leaves room for orthotics and warm socks; the bad news is that if I don't fill out the excess room that way these boots swim on me! The other downside is that they make my feet look very large--and I wear a size 6!--though they are admittedly really comfortable and don't require any breaking in. Alas, the next size down, a 36, is too small so I'm going to try to live with them as is. I just hope that extra quarter inch of length doesn't cause me to trip over my feet when I walk! Ecco, what happened here? You've always been so perfectly true to size! I hope you're listening and address this problem!

I wear an 8.5-9 normally and ordered a 40. I wore a thick sock to try them on and they are very comfy. No rubbing on my bunions or pain where I had my toe joint replacement. Will probably keep these.

I bought these boots to take to Europe in November. I needed a boot that didn't require a break in period and these didn't disappoint. I wore them all day for a week and found them to be very comfortable. I may try switching the insole to one with more arch support. Not the most stylish boot out there but the trade off in comfort was worth it.

These are wonderfully lightweight booties. My expected, regular Ecco size fit. I just wasn't as pleased with the style in person. I also find that my ankles are sensitive, and I didn't like the feel of this height boot. So, they go back, because I have to really love these, or they would languish in a corner of the closet.

These boots are super soft and comfortable, it is real leather. Excellent for walking all day. I use them for my trip to Europe and they were fantastic.

Did anyone else find these large? I normally wear a 7, so I ordered the 7-7 1/2 and they fit me more like 8s. I love the style and splurged as a self chosen Christmas gift. I will exchange for 6-6 1/2, but am worried they may be too small.

I eagerly anticipated the arrival of these boots but unfortunately had to return them. The style and quality where excellent. The foot was comfortable...and as other reviews state fit like a glove. Because I have a high instep the shaft and instep were too tight. This is the second time I experienced this problem with Ecco. I love the style of their shoes/boots but the European sizing does not conform to my foot.
