Looking for a bag that was big enough but not enormous. Carefully considered the size and ordered. When I got it, it was smaller than I thought. Zappos had some of the measurements wrong--notably the depth was listed as 4 but tag had as 3 1/4. Notified Zappos and they have corrected the measurements. I might not have ordered it had the measurements been right, but I can easily fit all that I need to inside this bag -wallet, glasses, eye drops, aspirin, pens, small pad, tissues, comb, lipstick and chapstick, cough drops. I love the little zipper pocket located above the flap for quick, easy access to my iphone while keeping my wallet secure inside the large zippered compartment which is a real plus when in busy public locations.

Perfect for organization. It's a great size for all your essentials. Only one small complaint -- the zippers are hard to pull.

Reading previous reviews, I guess I'm so far the only one with very little good to say about this bag..and I had such high hopes for it! While the organization features in the front under-flap area were great, the bag is just plain ugly in person, and for the price (ANY price really) it just flat out looks cheap. The front flap is like a piece of cardboard. All of the zippers are bulky and extremely hard to open and close. I dare you to even TRY to use any of them with just one hand. Can't be done. The strap is some sort of ribbon like material that is very slippery and refuses to stay on your shoulder, so wearing it crossbody is your only option unless you want to fight with it. And to top all that off, the bag I received was obviously a return that had been used. Not only did it have a ding in the corner, someone had left something inside it! VERY disappointed with the bag, and with Zappos on this one. Need I say it was returned ASAP?

This is lightweight and has a great organizing system built in. Pockets for everything. I use the coin purse for my sunglasses. The mushroom color is nice in that it is not a definite brown - so goes well with black, white, and earth tones.

I wish this were just a smidge bigger to accommodate my 8x10" planner I take to and from work. The jury is still out if keeping my cards and money in the pocket vs a separate wallet will work for me. I don't seem to prefer this, but I suppose I could still use a small wallet and keep it in that compartment. What I CAN cram in here: glasses in case phone in a case (in the back slip pocket) Kindle paperwhite (not in any kind of cover) Small bottle of medication lip balm small accessory bag keys ... and a little room to spare (brought a small apple to work one day in there with all this stuff. I got the "portobello," "porcini"? (some kind of mushroom name) color. I have another bagg in this color and I love it as a great neutral taupey color that goes with everything. The gold hardware really classes it up compared to my other mushroom color bagg with silver hardware. I feel it is fancier looking as a result. I would not hesitate to use at the symphony or out to dinner. Although Seattle is kind of casual. maybe not in Manhattan? Organization is as expected with baggs. Great pockets and the always present little extra accessory bag/wristlet that you can use however you want: money, cosmetics, do-dads, whatever. And for this rainy city I live in I am reassured that this purse won't get ruined if it gets some water on it, unlike my nice leather bags I use mostly in summer as a result.

Very cute purse, but unfortunately just a little too small for my needs as a travel bag. If it were an inch higher and wider, it would be perfect.

I have had this bag for over a year and keep trying to go back to it because of the design of the bag (sans strap). The strap is wide, extremely slippery and separates. I have to hold it together with a safety pin! it is IMPOSSIBLE to wear as a shoulder bag but cross body is OK. Even then, the body of the bag tilts upward because of the slippery strap and I keep having to even the balance out. I love the style of the bag itself. An alternative non-slip strap would make it a 5 star, for sure.

This bag came up when I filtered that I wanted the color pink. This is not pink. It is tan. The color of sand.

I Absolutely LOVE this Provence Baggallini bag. I use it everyday. The wallet is perfect and outside zipped pocket is perfect for lipstick and gum.I have this bag in 3 colors already, wanting MORE color options, (burnt orange). I would Love to see this bag have a few more card slots, and also the slots being RFID protected!

I love this bag SO much. I HAD to give it 5 stars even though it has one major flaw: It needs to be made in more fabric and hardware options!! I check the site weekly to see if it's being made with gold hardware, or one of the newer printed fabrics. Baggallini--PLEASE expand the options!! I frequently change from shoulder to cross-body. The integrated wallet is super easy to access while also being super secure and safe. My 2 teenage kids are always asking me to hold their cell phones, and I feel like Mary Poppins -- it seems like I can always fit something else in the large compartment. YET, it has some STYLE! (and doesn't bulge out too much when I'm using it for MY daily use.) I have own only Baggallinis for years and this is by far my favorite. Organization and Style! Perfect! I just want to mix it up with some more colors and hardware that I see on other bags.

I am a short gal, needed a purse that would hold more than just a few things while not being too big. This is a nice size, the strap is very wide and comfy. Love the pink interior. Will get a lot use out of this.

This is sort of a third-party review. I was personal shopper for an incapacitated friend this past Yule, and he wanted a purse for his mom, who is in her early 60's, sturdy of build, with some girth. She specified not too large or too small, not too flashy or too plain, lots of organizational capacity and options, and had to be cross-body. I suggested this bag, he agreed, and Mom is absolutely thrilled with it on all counts. This bag is extremely well-made, and has the feature I personally require: two internal leashes (one for the small zip purse and an extra one for my spare house key). I own several Baggalinis, cannot say enough positive things about the brand, and am thinking the Provence will likely be the next one I buy for myself.

I have taken this bag (in charcoal) to Britain, Scotland, and all over Italy. It's the perfect size for your money, sunglasses, a bottle of water, a map and some lip gloss. Excellent pocket inside for money and cell phone. I also love that I can clip my little wallet with ID and money into the bottom of the purse in case of spillage or pick pockets. The strap is very comfy and I wear it as an actual cross body. I do find slipping a problem if I try to wear it like a regular shoulder bag. It's held up through several washings and looks great, very lightweight and regular stains/dirt wipe right off with a damp cloth. It's about to go on a road trip of New England! Highly recommend this bag.

I have this bag and absolutely love it. There is so much room in it, and love the different compartments for all my items. Love the separate place for credit cards, etc. This is a fabulous bag, great for traveling as you don't need your wallet (it's built in).

The bag: I love the Provence! It is just the right size to accommodate a small water bottle, my iPad mini, my sunglasses, and a small jewelry roll...in addition to all the other mandatory goodies one must take on a trip. I even bought a mini umbrella which fits in it. The service: I purchased it at the last minute prior to leaving on my trip. Zappos was great at getting it right out to me in time for my trip at no extra charge. (I phoned them directly.) Their service is incredible! And they are friendly! I have been recommending them left and right. Now I check their website first to see if they sell what I need to purchase. Buy from Zappos!

Doesn't work for me. Stiffer than I expected which seems to make it heavier. Strap keeps tangling unlike my other baggallinis with strap clips. Straps too wide to also work as a shoulder bag. The design overall is good.

This is the first cross body bag I have ever actually used, and I love it! It holds all of my stuff without looking like it will burst, even my iPad mini. It also sits flat without tipping over - a must! I sometimes use it as a shoulder bag (depending on my outfit) and it works nicely for that too. Strap is easily lengthened or shortened as I go. For someone who is used to bigger handbags and wants to scale down but still have some room, this is a great one.

This is a pretty great bag. I was looking for another bag to replace mine that was looking pretty shabby. The one I had was perfect for me but baggallini discontinued it. So I tried this one. It has the 'wallet' in the front that I love. It has a tiny zippered pocket in the front that you really can't fit much into because it's hard to get into because the opening is rather small. There a really wide and deep center pocket that holds a lot and a snap pocket in the bag. Overall, I really like it and it has the type of pockets that I need and like in a bag.

Completely, perfectly adorable! Chic looking and well made handbag that has the necessary components to make carrying a wallet unnecessary. Large enough to comfortably fit makeup, cell, meds, and assorted junk that we don't need...but carry anyway. This one is a total winner!

Bought this bag for travel and it works perfectly! Love the black cheetah as its subtle but gives it that dressier flare. Front pocket is very secure yet easy to access. My favorite Baggallini yet!

The Baggallini Provence Crossbody is a good-quality bag with lots of compartments. The style & cheetah print make it look dressier than my other Baggallini bags which are solid colors. My one complaint about the Provence is that the strap connects to the purse in a fixed position & tends to get twisted unlike the strap on the Sydney (my favorite Baggallini style). I was happy to find the Sydney in the cheetah print so I ordered it (my 4th Sydney purse).

This bag is a good size, not too big and not too small. Has a good number of pockets and pouches to sort and organize your stuff and it looks good too, sporty and casual but sharp and classy at the same time. Definitely a winner.

Wonderful cross body bag! It is lightweight, easy to open while wearing, and roomy enough to hold my glasses case and all essentials. A great travel bag.

I love this bag! It is the absolute right size for me. It has pockets and places for everything, and I love the little slit zippered pocket on the outside for my cell phone. It comfortably holds in separate compartments, my check book, cash, credit cards, cell phone, travel hairbrush and coupons. It's not made for carrying large loads.

I freaking LOVE this bag. I used to swear by Coach over-the-shoulder bags that were small, with only three pockets. This bag is still minimal in size, and holds so much more. It's so versatile, and it's incredibly easy to keep things organized. I love it so much, I'll be getting some for family members this Christmas.
