These shoes are so cute and are just a little bit "extra" over a casual flip flop. I ordered my normal size and as some reviews mentioned, I was surprised at where the strap that goes over my foot was hitting, it made the shoe uncomfortable. Also, my heel was right on the edge, if not slightly over. So I exchanged them for a half-size up, and that pair fits perfectly! I'm really happy I tried the next size, these are adorable and very well made so I hope they'll be good for several years. Time will tell... but I do love them, just maybe go up a half-size from your normal size to get the right fit.

A comfortable summer sandal. I wasn't thrilled with the white stitching, so I used a black Sharpie to hide the stitches.

I really liked the shoe, very feminine looking. Unfortunately this pair made that annoying slapping sound when I walked because it fit a little loosely. If not for that, I would have loved to have owned them.

I love this sandal but as a "true size 8", I felt that the 8 was just a tad too small, so I ordered the 8-1/2 and it fit much better. The leather straps are a tad stiff but I believe they'll loosen up with wear. The sandal itself though is just what I wanted so I am very happy with my purchase.

I absolutely love these sandals - fun, just enough heel to be stylish, but not enough to be dangerous (spoken from someone who feel off her wedges and broke an ankle!). I am currently breaking them in as the straps across top of foot can rub and dig in after awhile. I think it helps to not have the pain and blisters!! Can't wait to take these on our Caribbean cruise.

These sandals are a great sandal looking but unfortunately, for some reason, when I put them on, my foot slipped forward and the leather between my toes dug into my foot. It made it very uncomfortable to walk in. So I have to return them. Too bad, because I loved the sandal.

These are great shoes, They are true to size, and are very comfortable (for this kind of shoe), I even wear them on the mile walk to work without problem.

I have worn Bernardo sandals for as long as I can remember... They are comfortable and wear for years... Pricey but worth it...

I love this sandal! I do not usually spend this much money on shoes, but these sandals are really worth it. I have plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis right now, and my doctor said to wear wedges. These sandals are SO cute and comfortable, and really do help my foot problems.

Recently advised by my podiatrist that my achilles tendon problem might be alleviated by footwear with a slight wedge rather than totally flat, I ordered the "Miami Wedge" sandal in platinum calf. I've been a Bernardo fan for years, so this sandal is very much what I expected: well-made and comfortable right out of the box. The style is classic and flattering and the metallic finish gives it a dressy-but-casual vibe.

I've been wearing Bernardo sandals for years. They are extremely well made, the styles are more classic than trendy, and very, very comfortable. Even when new, these sandals felt like old friends.

Love these sandals! I have a high instep and have a difficult time finding sandals that fit right, but these were perfect. Also loved the heel height - a little bit of a heel, but not too high.

Fit a bit small and very gold in color

Very comfortable except for the leather between the toes. It is very stiff and I do not think it will break in. I prefer fabric between the toes.

This shoe felt worth about half the price. I have a narrow foot and this fit better than most shoes but I wasn't overwhelmed with the style and the sole was hard, so I am returning.

Very squeaky which is unexpected at this price. I am returning them.

I've worn classic Bernardo sandals since I was in high school (am now a grandmother) but this one was too narrow for my feet.

I have the Miami flats in a size 8 and they are a little bit too wide and long. However, these Miami wedges are very narrow and too short! They are NOT the same design as the older flats.

Loved the look, the wedge and color but when I put them on were way to narrow. They felt loose on my feet (my foot was moving around in). Was sad to send back but just knew I wouldn't wear them.

Although they are pretty comfortable and beautiful, I'm returning them because the white stitching around the front/toe area emphasizes my short toes. I think a smaller size would be too small. They just weren't as perfect as needed for the price.

Painful mistake. I fell in love with this shoe and after reading the reviews I had to have them. Today was the first day of sandal weather so I of course I put them on! I walked 10 blocks and was in pain. After an hour I have blisters across the top of my foot. The leather straps put pressure on my foot like nothing I've felt before and I am an avid flip flop and sandal wearer. The fit is excellent. The shoe is not heavy. i believe the problem is the placement of the leather strap. It is higher than usual on the foot. It is a beautiful shoe but I do not believe any amount of breaking these in will fix this problem.

I purchased these sandals because I liked the style. When I got them and tried them on, they're definitely half a size too small. I liked the bottom which is leather butalippery leather and the heel is plastic and slippery. I skid at work on the tile floor. I had to purchase non skid grips to put on the bottom of the sandal and the heel. For the price I paid, I really felt I shouldn't have to buy non skid grips for the shoe. Can't companies make a shoe with a non skid bottom? Either they're cheap felt bottoms or plastic. I probably won't order another pair of this brand. I was very disappointed. I wish I could return them for a refund, but I already wore them.
