I bought this for a long weekend trip, and it worked great. It is larger than I expected. Almost better for 4-5 day trip than 2-3. Quality is superb. I think this bag will last for 20 years easy. It also has a great look. I actually got a compliment on it from the bag check guy at American. My only nitpick is that the bag doesn't open wider for loading. The widest point is at the middle, and I find myself scraping my hands/arms on the zipper getting things in and out. The zipper is actually quite substantial. It's never going to wear out, but the metal teeth are also a bit rough on the hands. Other than that this thing is bomb proof, and I can see using it a long time.

I have been looking for a duffel bag for sometime. I have always wanted a filson. The quality is top notch. This bag is almost indestructible. It is much larger than I expected. It is larger than a weekend bag, I recently took a week long trip and it held everything (including my boots and dress shoes). The price is a little steep, but it will last a lifetime.

Good looking bag but holy cow is it big. No way that would fit in the overhead compartment. That would be for a week long vacation for me. I am returning this and got the small duffle instead. The small is perfect for a 3-4 days for me. But man is it good looking.

Not all bad. High quality materials, but bad design. For the price it needs to be perfect and it is not. It is collapsible, so unless you have it stuffed full it is very hard to get into it to store or retrieve your items. It will not stand upper packing by design.
