This is definitely the priciest piece of 'weekend' luggage I've purchased and I have to say that it's worth it. It's light but surprisingly sturdy and--though it's relatively small (and easy to carry both with the handles and the shoulder strap)--it holds a lot. I was easily able to pack 4 days worth of casual clothes & toiletries with room to spare. The leather trim and canvas body look good right now and will probably look even better with age. As always with Zappos the order arrived in no time and in perfect condition.

Five stars. Thick rugged canvas with thick bridle leather encircling the bag and providing some (not total) protection from the ground. The rich chocolate color is beautiful. I just love it.

I purchased this bag intending to use it for a weekend's worth of clothes. It really is the perfect size for a 2-3 day getaway and the construction is top tier. Filson makes some exceptional gear and if you're on the fence about the bag, buy it. Zappos got it to me very quickly and the bag arrived in immaculate condition.
