These shoes are great. Sexy and cute. True to size. Be patient with the break in period. They are very hard at first but soften fairly quickly. I wore them with plastic bags over socks around the house at first. A little trick I learned when I sold shoes. Love Sweedish a Hasbeens. Patrice.

These shoes are exactly what I wanted and I love the look, they are gorgeous. So sad to say they just don't work for my feet. The toe base/platform is pretty narrow; admittedly I have size 10 feet and long toes (ugh); I tried to make these work by tightening the ankle strap but the back strap was too loose. I also tried the sky high woven front Hasbeens, same issue. I am very sad, I love this line but I don't think it works for long feet unless they are very narrow.

Sigh. Another strike-out from Hasbeens. If you are a near-wide gal and could not fit into the Hasbeens peep toe, forget about owning the Frederica. I am one of those gals who can wear a consistent 7 unless shoe is strappy, I have to size up. Well, this is one of those narrow shoes. I have not tried size 38 as 37 length fits perfectly well for me...maybe 38 can work. I didn't try. Another complaint for this shoe is the fastener strap part. For some reason, it seems to be more 'forward' on the shoe cause when i try to buckle it, I have to forcefully move buckle forward just to get the first hole of the buckle. Very odd. Otherwise gorgeous red color and comfy sole typical of Hasbeens.

These are gorgeous! I know they require a breaking in period, but after wearing them around the house for a bit, I knew I'd never survive it. It felt like I had razor wire around my ankles. How could I ever wear them anywhere? It was heartbreaking to return them, as they were pretty much exactly the look I wanted. But, in the end, life's too short to wear painful shoes. Boo.

I really wanted to love these shoes, but they are the most ridiculously painful and uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn (and that's saying something). I first bought these in an 8; they fit length-wise, but the toe-box is very narrow where it cuts across the arch of your foot. I've never had to wear a wide shoe before, but I felt like I would have needed that option in this style. I returned the 8s for a pair of 9s, and still had the same issue. I don't have hope that any size of this shoe will prove comfortable for me, even if I were somehow able to wear them long enough to wear in the leather a bit. I'll be returning the second pair of shoes too. They're too expensive to keep, if they're not anywhere close to wearable. (Great customer service from Zappos as I dealt with this though. They were all-stars with my returns and exchanges. Thanks, guys.)

LOVE this shoe. after reading the reviews prior to buying i knew what to expect. I have a narrow foot so the shoe fit great, but I can see how a wider foot would find this shoe uncomfortable. They aren't SUPER comfortable at first, (but you are walking on wood and have brand new leather around your feet, what do you expect?) but they turned out to be pretty comfy considering and I know they will get even more comfortable with time. My only dispute on these is that as I am wearing them (which is all the time), the leather is stretching and making them almost a half size too big. I wouldn't have bought a smaller size in hindsight, its not that obvious, just something worth mentioning.

Because of all the reviews, I was worried that these shoes wouldn't fit and they'd be too narrow. But they actually fit very well. For the price, the ankle straps could be so much more comfortable if they "doubled" the inside, that is, make the inside straps match the outside. I am breaking them in with socks, but very happy overall.

I love my hasbeens! I found these to be quite comfortable and perfect for the Spring/Summer. These are great for casual walking-- meaning, not for long rigorous walks! For clogs these are super comfortable although you do make the *clop *clop sounds while walking.

These have taken a bit of braking in due to the stiff leather, but the sole is very comfortable if you like a wooden heel (I do). They have a darling reto look and I've been complimented each time I've worn the.

These are my new favorite shoes! I absolutely love them! People are literally stopping me on the street to compliment my shoes. I usually wear an 8.5-9 and the 39 fits perfectly. The leather was a little tight at first, but after just a few wears I could feel it loosen up. An added bonus is that they are the most comfortable shoes with heels that I own!

I own two of these. I have black and blue. They are pricey and cute. I am 41 years old and they look adorable. I have only worn the black one to church and so far no issues. I usually wear a nine but the eight was perfect. I am determined to make them work because I love the look and style.

Like people say, these are HARD to break in. But they fit my feet really well (I have a really standard foot, so I'm lucky in that regard!) and they are SUPER cute, so I was determined to make them work. I wore them a lot, at first just a few hours a day and worked my way up, and I used some anti-chafing stick (that I got in a running shop!) around the straps. After a while. I think 6-8 weeks. I was finally comfy in my clogs! One thing I love about this shoe is, despite the heavy looking wooden sole, they are extremely lightweight. I was expecting loud clomping but they are so quiet that I wear them to work, in a library!

So cute, so narrow. Too painful to make it through the break-in period. So sad!

I've got the red and they're adorable...as long as your foot is placed right, the peep toe is subtle. The problem is that in both my pairs of Hasbeens (I also own a pair of Suzanne), is that my foot slides forward, so that if I'm not completely conscious of my foot placement inside the shoe at all times, my toe hangs over the front end, like the girl's does in the Zappos video...despite there being plenty of room in the back and even after trying shoe inserts of all kinds. No tightening of the ankle strap remedies this. Very UN-cute. I have a wide-ish metatarsal area, no arch, and a narrow heel: I found both my Hasbeens a little tight at first, but they've loosened up fine after about a week of running short errands in them. I don't find the wooden footbed *SO* comfortable, like you hear people gush about. I'm a 8-8.5 and wound up with a size 39/9 in both my pairs. The wood chips and scuffs easily. IF you decide to go with Hasbeens, make sure you order from Zappos since their CS is amazing--don't make the mistake of ordering form the SH site--their CS is horrific. Thanks to Zappos for constantly being the benchmark...I've been a customer for years, but sadly, I won't be buying more Hasbeens.
