i got this jacket for my daughter for christmas and she loves it. just had a little problem with fed ex. but tnf took care of me and made sure i got it before christmas. thanks north face.

This is an excellent jacket! I love how soft it is and it's nice for those chilly Spring/Fall days or a warmer Winter day. I would totally recommend purchasing this and am thinking of getting another one in a different color. Another great TNF product!!!

I purchased this as a gift for my wife. It looks stunning on her and she loves the fit and the level of comfort not to mention it is lightweight, but extremely warm.

We purchased this jacked for our daughter and she absolutely loves it. The fit is great, quality is great and my granddaughter also has it and feels the same. Fab. product!

Daughter had to have this jacket. Keeps her warm. She asks me to turn the heat down in my car when she has it on. I am more like excuse me take that jacket off. Lol. Anyways made well.

Bought one for my daughter in law. SO saw it and said it was great and she should get for her daughter. I bought two for her daughters and one for her and her sister. I have heard about them about daily since Christmas. Comments are; Beautiful, unbelievably warm and comfortable. They have raved over them so much I now consider myself an expert on selecting women's clothes:-) (Not) I hit a home run with Osita Jacket and Oso Hoodie which is same but with a hood.

The jacket is so warm and it took little to no time to get here. I love the north face

This was a gift for my 68 year old mom. She loves the fit, the warmth, the softness, and the color. It was a perfect Christmas present just before the 2014 "arctic vortex."

Although the item I ordered did not arrive on time I was extremely impressed with the customer service I received from the Peabody-based store. Having been a driver for one of the two major freight carriers that had delayed shipments I fully understand what can happen in the day-to-day business of transporting packages. I would highly recommend that those based in the North Shore area of Boston shop at the Peabody store. Attentive, courteous and willing to go the extra mile are trademarks that you don't find every day.

I have 3 osito jackets. They are my favorite jackets. The softest, warmest. I love the fit. I highly recommend it.

Well, I guess I should title the review "my daughter loves this jacket" since I bought it for her, but I love it, too. I was a little worried about the possibility of the jacket shedding because other reviewers mentioned that issue. It appears that North Face has fixed the problem because we've not experienced any fuzz/lint from the Osito jacket. It's the SOFTEST fabric and quite warm, and the slim fit makes it ideal for layering under other jackets. I'm certain that my daughter will be able to wear it for years, as long as it fits her. The XS fits my daughter well; she's 13 and has a slender build, and is typically a size 0 in clothing. The sleeves and overall length are a little bit long but that's okay because she'll grow into it. I don't need another jacket, otherwise I'd buy one for myself!

I was incredibly excited to finally get this jacket. I initially had black and experienced a lot of shedding AFTER it's initial wash. The sizing on it was funky, the arms were too short and it fit very snug, it was definitely wearable but I was a bit unhappy with the size. After a couple weeks it looked awful. Everything got stuck to it and the fleece was coming off on the inside. I went back to the store and exchanged it for another jacket since the black one appeared to be defective. When I purchased another it was MUCH larger than the black and I had to exchange that for a S instead of a M. The arms fit great and the overall fit is superior. I did notice that the new jacket had the cinch whereas the previous jacket did not, it also lacked the arm hooks. I'm now convinced that the original jacket was defective. I am incredibly happy with the replacement jacket and I can't wait until it warms up enough to hang up the Apex Elevation and wear my Osito again. Overall a superb product. I will be purchasing another in the very near future, but I will avoid buying it in black again.

I recently bought this after coveting it for quite a while. (In fact, I bought one for my daughter for Christmas then went back and bought one for myself.) I wore it on vacation shortly after I bought it and was amazed at how toasty it kept me in all sorts of weather. We even went out in some nasty wet weather, and I stayed dry and warm. The jacket itself seems lightweight, and I'd never guess that it'd keep me warm in temperatures south of 40. I used the size advisor and bought the medium, and I'm glad I did. It is slightly roomy, but allows for a sweater underneath. I am 5'8" and 137 lbs.

I love this jacket! I have had a black Oso Hoodie for about 3 years now, love that jacket. Only issue is it matted, HOWEVER, they are guaranteed for life! So I sent in, through the NF store here, and they replaced it. :) I love love love my Lavendula Osito, It is so cute, the color is awesome, just like the picture, so soft, and warm! They do not do as well with severe wind, but otherwise YEAH! I have a white scarf from NF the I use with it, where o' where is the matching gloves and scarf! :( You might need a larger size if you don't like a snugger fit. I don't mind, as I don't usually wear heavy tops under it, like a sweater or sweatshirt.

This jacket is awesome!
