I ordered a narrow and it was wider than a B. No arch support. This is the second pair of New Balance that I have had to return. They sure aren't making them like they used to.

This shoe was so much larger than other 9 1/2 NB I have ordered they were like putting on a shoe box.

It was bigger - width and length - than I anticipated. I had to return for a different shoe.

I have a very narrow heel, high arches, and a wider foot at the front. These shoes fit OK through the arch and heel once laced up, but the toe box was so ridiculously large that I felt like I was Darling Clementine wearing boxes for shoes! My strongest first impression of these shoes however was that the materials seemed really cheap and cheesy. I felt like I was trying on bargain shoes at KMart or Walmart for $15 or $20. The laces were WAY too long and would have had to be cut to be usable. Made me think the brand has really taken a nose dive.

Ordered these in the WW width, and the toe box is so ridiculously square and boxy that I looked like I had Frankenstein feet. In that width, the toe doesn't come to a point at all. Sending them back.

The shoe was short and the toe box was huge. Shoe was very deep. this is the second new balance shoe I have to return. Sure wish every one would get on the same page with length and width of shoes!

I love New Balance but these shoes are the worst! They're heavy and stiff with very little cushion. I put gel inserts in them and it didn't really help. Was going to wear them on a vacation with lots of walking and I'm glad I tested them on a day at Universal Studios. I couldn't figure out why I was so exhausted by the end of the day, with tired legs and feet. We went to Disney the next day and I wore a different pair of new balance and I felt great. Didn't return them but I wish I had. They're going in the trash.

I was very excited about this shoe, a walking shoe that does not look so athletic. Purchased in Spring, told myself it was my go-to-shoe for the summer. I even purchased a second pair for upcoming trip in the fall. Here I am, mid July with tired, aching feet. Diagnosed with plantar fasciitis....poor support from my shoes. Yesterday the first pair went into the trash, today pair #2 going back to Zappos. COME ON New Balance....you can and HAVE done better!!!

I ordered a 12 narrow. Waaaay too wide. Right out of the box the shoe looked too wide - so much so that I checked my order and confirmed I ordered a 2N. Tried it on, pulled laces tight, and still way to wide for my foot. A 12 Narrow fits in other brands.
