I used to have a tennis business in Florida and discovered that New Balance was the reliable choice for fit and function. I specifically wanted a walking shoe, and, once again, the brand was the best choice.....well constructed, attention to detail, and upscale in appearance.

Everything was fine until I put it on and noticed across the right toe was a wrinkle in the material. It definitely was put together a little off making it a second. I liked them well enough to keep them but will not order again.

Length of the shoe was perfect. Size 10, I sure didn't want to size up! VERY Wide thru the toe. I had to add insoles because of the toe width. I wouldn't order these again because of the width.

I walk 3-5 miles five days a week and these were great shoes, until I wore holes in the top. The mesh doesn't hold up, that's after wearing them appox. 6 months. I don't mind the price, but they need to last longer than that. I replaced them with 574 and they are really too narrow, my toe next to big toe hit the top of the shoe, and now it's red. I had to wear the holey shoes until the toe healed. I also have trouble finding my size (6 wide) in the more expensive shoes.

I actually wear them for much of the day every day, not just for walking. My only complaint, and the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wide size could be just a bit wider. After time my foot stretches them out but I have bunions and so that stretching out process can be a little uncomfortable. All that being said, these have the best fit I've found in this type of walking shoe.

VERY COMFORTABLE

These shoes feel great, they are wide enough for my feet. This is my second pair. My toes make holes in the front of the shoe after about 2 weeks of wearing. I have put moleskin at that point in the second pair. I can see them wearing, but they haven't come through yet. Can you use heavier mesh in the shoe?

I liked the style however they were too large and the smaller size was not available.

I have purchased this same style multiple times in the past, and each and every time the tongue length is shorter in the left shoe! Sizing is very inconsistent from the left shoe to the right.!

The shoes were to wide for my feet. I had to returned them. They were very comfortable.

I love the comfort of New Balance shoes for walking 3-4 miles per day. All the notes say to order a full size larger, but I already had a pair in size 10, so I ordered that again. The left shoe fits perfectly, but my toe is right at the end of the right shoe. It's not uncomfortable when I walk, but a half size larger probably would've been perfect. I keep hoping for a 10 1/2 to be an option. Maybe some day. The previous pair lasted a couple of years. I love the durability of NB products.

They are very comfortable. I recently broke both ankles and just recently was able to wear shoes again. I bought the 877. Great shoes. At the moment I find that around the ankle bone I'm having a little discomfort. It's not because shoes are not right, it's that my ankles are healing and they ache at times. I would like to order another pair in a regular width. Great shoes. I need a regular width. With my feet a llttle swollen I need a regular width as to the one I ordered - narrow. Can you tell me if I can get the same shoe in a regular width?

Supportive shoe that is lightweight, with a Terry insole. Very comfortable as well, though I do plan to add a bit more arch support.

I love the wide toe box and the colors of this shoe, the only problem I had wearing them they bother my left ankle in the back. I usually get shoes with rollbars and these type of shoes work the very best. I've been trying different styles but the roll bar is the very best for me.

I use these shoes for my five mile walks. They are very comfortable and provide good support.

Nice shoe unfortunately a little too clunky. In all fairness I wonder how it would have fit with my usual shoe size but I kept reading reviews & went with larger not by much but still obviously it didn't turn out well. So I would say it is a nice shoe just stick to the size you normally wear.

I have been buying this sneaker for many years, i do so because of the fit and quality materials used. i will keep buying it

Hesitate to buy shoes on line, but I trust New Balance and the reviews I'd seen previously. Did go up half size (as I get older, my toes need more room). The wider toe front worked for me. Only negative would be a more cushioned foot bed - can't have it all!
