This is my fourth pair of Nw Balances 877!! I was so glad to find that this style is still available. The wide toe box is very comfortable!

Like walking on clouds. Good for folks with a high instep or who need a rounded toe box. Also comes in wide.

Great roomy toe box. I'd like more cushioning in the sole but I've been wearing them for years.

These shoes are super comfortable. I got these for general walking around town and easy hikes. They fit super comfortable. I had foot surgery a year ago and have had trouble getting a comfortable fit. Got these 1/2 size larger per other reviewers. Love them.

Finally, I found a style of New Balance walking shoes and ordered in the correct size, i,e, one-half size up from "dress" shoes. The shoes arrived today, immediately put them on, and haven't taken them off. They are attractive and comfortable, and they support my feet. I especially like the thicker soles. I am planning to go for a walk on the university track this evening for a "test drive". Also, ordered a couple more pairs of same to have in inventory. DEFINTELY order ONE-HALF SIZE UP. Do so because N/B shoes notoriously run small, and also you want to be able to wear somewhat thicker socks. After an entire year of ankle, knee, leg, and hip pain for wearing the wrong size shoe, I wised up and ordered 1/2 size up. I feel better already. I heartily recommend the 877 New Balance shoes.

This is my second pair of these great walking shoes. I love that they feel 'right' from the start and that the toe box (in wide) fits my foot so well. Finally found my favorite shoes!

This New Balance shoe is my favorite for walking my dog Brady every morning. I first purchased this shoe two years ago and tried to order another pair during the COVID-19 pandemic and found out it was not available. So glad I found LL Bean had it in stock!

I wore out my first pair of these shoes (lots of walking!). Love them! Comfortable. I ordered a half size up as recommended and they fit well.

This is my 3rd pair. I walk about an hour a day and eventually the cushioning deteriorates, at which point I demote them to gardening and yard work shoes, or to wear to the beach where they may get soaked . The most comfortable walking shoes I've ever had.

I've owned many pair of new balance walkers. These people really know my foot. and as someone who has been a dedicated walker for 50 years, I have no patience with poorly constructed, badly fitting shoes. New balance are the best.

These are beautiful shoes, but run very wide. My advice is that if you have any doubt about our proper width, order the narrower one, but if you receive a pair that doesn't fit, don't try to exchange them; wear them with heavy socks if you have to. I ordered these to replace a pair of NB walking shoes I'd worn for years, which were so perfect, including the fit (9B), that I'd considered them irreplaceable. Last spring, however, the soles were coming apart and I could see that they wouldn't last another season. Someone at New Balance told me these were most like my perfect pair, and I ordered them in 9 Standard. They were much too wide! When I held them against my old pair, the soles were at least 1/2" wider, so I sent them back to order 9 Narrow instead. Sending them back with the label provided was easy, but getting the money put back on the gift card has turned out to be nearly impossible. Over and over - maybe a dozen times - I was told on the phone that the money had been put back on the card, then tried to order but found the gift card balance was still zero. Eventually I reached someone through the BBB, and hope for the best, but can't try reordering yet because 9 Narrow is now out of stock. The saga continues.

The sneakers are very comfortable and I like the color combination.

I'm on my feet on concrete all day long and these shoes are so comfortable. My feet never get too hot or sore while wearing them. I think this is my third or fourth pair and they are great to wear at my job.
